La Petite Academy of St. Louis

My son went to La Petite for 2 years. If he was not going to school this year he would still be there. He loved going here and made so many friends and had amazing teachers. It was awesome to see him grow in his education and his love of learning. I never had to worry about him while he was here. I knew he was being cared for and having a blast. I cannot say enough good things about this school. After months of searching I am glad we found La Petite so my son had a safe, fun learning environment that he was excited to go to everyday.

My son just turned 3 and has been going to La Petie since he was 2 and a half. This place is amazing! The teachers are super sweet and take good care of all the kiddos in their care. They provide them with lots of play, educational and learning so it's the perfect environment for anyone looking for a preschool for their little ones. My son has made so many new friends and has learned so much from them. I highly recommend such a great preschool! They also have an open area which is nice instead of the separated closed off rooms. They have an app where you can check up on your child to see how they're doing throughout the day which I feel for me gives me a sense of relief to see how my kiddo is doing. 😊

Our daughter has gone here since she was 9 months old and we couldn’t love La Petite and all the teachers there more. We had a very bad experience with our first daycare setting and we were very scared and worried to send our daughter anywhere else, but La Petite made it so easy to trust them and made us feel like we were right at home. They also send us pictures and updates throughout the day that just put your mind at ease.
My daughter has learned so much, I am amazed every day when she comes homes because she has learned something new. Everyone there loves and cares so much for each of those kids. Even our daughters past teachers still show her so much love when they are passing through her classroom. We absolutely love la petite and everyone there and could not be happier knowing our daughter is somewhere safe and loved.

After visiting with several daycares, La Petite was hands down the most accommodating, friendly and appealing for our daughter. The director has gone above and beyond for us while transitioning our daughter into daycare. I was nervous for sending her to daycare for the first time, and the staff updates me on her progress with pictures, emails and phone calls. Not only does my daughter adore her teachers and new friends, but I enjoy helping out for their fun family events as well! The staff is so attentive and friendly...they greet every child by name and always show an interest in their life outside of daycare as well. I know that any concerns I have are always taken seriously and addressed immediately. My work schedule constantly changes, and La Petite has patiently worked with us to plan our daughter's days as daycare. She went from being shy and nervous to be dropped off to hurrying to get ready in the morning and see her teachers and friends. I am beyond pleased with the choice we made and grateful for La Petite making us feel like family. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a daycare that is friendly and genuinely cares.

My children began attending La Petite last September and I can't say enough good things about this daycare! The director- Brittini is wonderful and very accommodating when I need to change the schedule. My boys love their teachers and talk non-stop about what they did that day at school. Their curriculum is great and I feel they really take the time with each child to make sure they are reaching certain milestones. Although, this facility is a little expensive and puts a strain on us financially, I would not take them anywhere else for I feel it is money well spent!

It’s with a heavy heart I write a five star review for my favorite daycare and preK facility! My children have learned SOOO much in such a short time. I was nervous because my children have only known me and they got my youngest son to loosen up and get comfortable and he even stopped throwing tantrums for nap time. The Director at the time and the new Director, Jessica are and have been so kind and gracious! I wish we didn’t have to relocate but I can say my oldest son Maher is ready for kindergarten and the year isn’t even over yet. Thank you all for everything! The burritos meals and having access for parents to check in our babies through camera and through chat. You all are heavily missed.

Incredible day care / preschool experience. We've had two kids (5 and 3) there for a long time, and all their teachers, child care providers and administrative leaders are warm, receptive and just amazing examples for our kids. Can't say enough great things about them.

Also - their summer camp is very involved and our kids loved the activities and field trips.

We absolutely loved La Petite Tesson Ferry. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and really seemed to care. The administration was also just as hands on and allowed us to work our part time schedule when there were vacations and holidays. Our son has definitely grown in this nurturing environment and I would recommend it others. It's nice to drop him off and see him excited to learn. Excellent place. Thank you Miss Linda in the toddler room for making our son's daycare great.

When your 5 years old says “he learns more then he plays” you know it’s a perfect school! The directors are extremely nice and very professional. The teachers are very sweet, very involved, and so good with the kids. You can hear in their voices how much they enjoy being with the kiddos.

La Petite Academy of St. Louis was a fantastic school for our child to attend. He learned many great skills in his time there. The teachers and staff were outstanding and were great at communicating with us any time it was needed.

My three children have attended LaPetite Academy for the past two years. We absolutely love it!

The weekly schedules of the administrators are always posted at the parent center and there is always someone in management available, whether we arrive early at 6:15 AM or pick up at 6:15 PM.

The facilities are clean and well maintained. Conferences are held twice a year and the classroom teachers are always willing to offer an update when we drop off or pick up our children. The teachers are out-going, friendly and keep us well informed with daily progress reports for the infants, toddlers, and pre-k classes.

My children's favorite feature at LaPetite is that each age level has their own age appropriate playground from the toddlers to the school agers. The school agers love the dramatic play area in their classroom and the teacher always have a project ready for the kids when we arrive in the morning.

My school aged children love the summer camp activities which include scheduled field trips as well as visits to the center by various community organizations, which allow the younger children to participate. Decorating bikes and the bike parade was one of my children's favorite activity this past summer.

Ms Christy, Ms Brittni, Ms Heather, and the other teachers are truly the best asset that LaPetite Academy can offer and they do a fantastic job making me feel that my children are safe and well cared for each and every day while I am at work.

It has taken me a year to finally type this review!

My daughter and son attend La Petite Academy. My daughter joined when Katie was the Director and Lejna was still the Assistant Director. Thanks to their upbeat bubbly personality, I trusted this facility to care for my children. I am SO GLAD I DID. Since then, there has been changes and they have all been for the better. I am difficult parent to deal with, honestly. I want things a certain way, I expect a lot and its mainly because my children spend 9 hours away from me on a daily basis. I feel like they spend most of their time there than they do with me. It's a VERY difficult feeling to wrap your head around, but eventually you have to. Lejna was an amazing influence in the facility when she was there. She knew how difficult it is for me to leave my children every day. She comforted me with pictures and updates via email on the daily. She called my office on days she noticed I felt extra terrible for leaving my children. As a parent, that is HUGE. Brittni D. is now the school director. I had my guard up from the beginning. It is difficult for me to transition with care for my children. She has a lot of dedication to what she does. She is very different compared to Katie, but she has turned out to be one of the most amazing individuals to run a child care facility. She understands the importance of keeping parents involved while at the same time keeping the facility running smoothly and professionally. She has taken the time to connect with the children more and more each day and has built relationships with them. It is such a heartwarming feeling to know that someone genuinely cares for the children attending her facility. The teachers; Ms. Elizabeth, Ms.Dawn, Ms. Miranda, Ms.Dana and so on are the cherry on top!! Most day care's or learning centers have individuals who went to school, got certified and work with children because it's their job. Well, not here. These ladies LOVE children, they really CARE for children and are striving each day to do better. They are raising little minds to be independent, loving, caring, joyful, powerful and well-mannered. I will never part ways from La Petite. I do want to say this; GREAT CARE is not cheap. It never will be, so it really depends on how you look at it. You can either pay more money for exceptional care, or pay less for intermediate care. Me? Money does not compare to the care and attention my children get. It is costly, but in the long run, no amount of money can repay the amount of education and care my children received from attending La Petite. Their meal plan is always something healthy and universal. They also do not mind accommodating your children's needs. It's all about communication! I hope this helps all of you future parents, best of luck to you and THANK YOU staff at La Petite! P.S the facility is ALWAYS CLEAN and well organized. You can thank Ms. OCD/ALWAYS on point with her process Brittni for that! ;) You don't get anything better than that!

I have a 3 1/2 year old and a just turned 5 yr old. My 3 1/2 is in the preschool program and the 5 year old is in the Pre K program. Neither one had been in a school setting before and eveyone at La Petite Academy made the kiddos feel comfortable from the 1st time they went. The Pre-K program has really helped the 5 yr old adjust to a classroom setting. And my pre-schooler has learned so much in the last 5 months. I cannot say enough about the teachers and the staff!! They know how to handle the kiddos. Miss Katie and Miss Stephanie are just amazing teachers. As director and asst director, Ms Britni and Ms Layna keep the parents informed with what is going on at the school. They also keep up with the education of the staff. I feel as it is a big family there.

My wife and I love LaPetite! I know when we drop our 3 active boys off at the front door, they will be cared for, nurtured, challenged, and safe. Honestly, we have been delighted with how engaged our boys are in the activities at the center. Plus, anyone willing to help a busy family potty-train our 2 Three year olds ranks pretty high in our book. Did I mention, they celebrate progress!

The facility is always clean!

We are thankful that the staff knows each of our children and their particular personalities. They seem to know how to bring the best characteristics out of each of the kids. Plus, I always know what is going on with my boys at LaPetite. Teachers, there, are the very best at communicating in a respectful and professional manner. Not being at LaPetite during the day, information is vital to tracking the needs of my boys. It isn't always easy to deliver news to parents (good, bad, or indifferent), but they seem to know how to relay information, while exhibiting their love for our children.

You will not find a child care facility with a better director than Christy O'Neil. She exudes confidence and professionalism in everything she does at the center. Plus, it's nice to visit with her on the way in and out because of her pleasant demeanor. The very few times we have had concerns with situations, Christy always handles them promptly, and with utmost respect.

Kudos to LaPetite!!! We are big fans!

Our family has L-O-V-E-D being a part of the LaPetite family this Spring 2012. It was the perfect place to help us transition from our son staying home with momma to him going to "school" full-time. This was my first semester as a full-time student as well, my husband just graduated with his associates of arts in teaching and has two more years to go! So, with us all three officially students LaPetite's professional and extremely helpful and loving staff made the difference for our success. We are all looking forward a great Summer together and then coming back to LaPetite for a wonderful Fall! Thank you all so much for all you do every day for every child - our son has learned so much and has grown in his abilities in math, english, art, and science!!! La Petite has been taking care of my wonderful granddaughter for close to 2 years and the staff there has been amazing!Brittni Deterding & Stephanie Fiondella are awesome directors & are not only very pleasant,they always keep me informed!I also love the children there! They are very well mannered,pleasant and very happy.Special shout out to Miss Jessica & Miss Janae!
