The whole setting is spectacular. The hall and bar of the place is really something. Great and unusual experience for a european: cinema meets restaurant. Maybe it's normal here, but certainly extraordinary sensation for a guy like me. Extended menu, initial order before the movie, then through the screening a waiter comes rightaway after pushing the caller button if I request anything. Endless refill on popcorn and soda. Seats are super confy. Cinema heaven. Oh, and the restroom was perfectly clean too.

Wonderfully nostalgic experience for everyone 😁 I love the atmosphere. Arcade and you can rent movies including vhs. beer, hot cocoa, coffee, burgers, apps, etc. They do events and classic movies. I definitely will go hear again and again.

Saying this place is dope would be an understatement. So much nostalgia. We were skeptical to try the food at first, but we were blown away. The staff was quick and attentive. We had mozzarella sticks, loaded fries, bourbon peach smash, sweet tea. Everything was great, but the loaded fries and the peach smash stole the show for us. The entire experience was like stepping back in time, but with modern amenities. Honestly, it’s like CineBistro, but way cooler aesthetics and half the price.

Love the retro film aesthetic at this dine-in cinema. It attracts a variety of people all with one common interest— a love for movies! They offer movie rentals and fun movie showings. The food is slightly overpriced compared to other spots but the service is superb and the it always comes out fresh and delicious. We’ve been a couple of times and it never disappoints. Can recommend the spicy buffalo pizza, the bottomless popcorn, the nachos and queso dip with beef and the spicy burger.

This place is pretty cool! There is a retro vibe to the entire place; there is a bar and VHS library/merch for sale, and in the theaters you can order food and drinks with a pretty decent menu. The ordering is designed in a way to cause minimal distraction to the movie watching experience. We had a great time!

Alamo is a hidden gem in Raleigh, if you are visiting Raleigh, definitely hit this place up, they have an awesome mixture of new and old movies. You can even rent from the best variety of off the wall movies.
They have great service, great food and they have gluten free and vegan food for those who are wondering.

I love visiting Alamo Drafthouses whenever I can. This particular location had a kind staff and the food was good. We went of a weekday so it wasn't too busy. Try to arrive a little early so you can order food at your seat before the movie begins.

First time going here and LOVED IT!! I'm so mad I didn't go sooner. Legit the cleanest movie theater I've ever been in, and I've lived in 5 states, and an avid movie goer. The staff were super kind and answered all my questions. The seats were comfortable, absolutely nothing sticky anywhere, not even the floors. Bathrooms were spotless too. You gotta go here!

I love this place. The food and atmosphere is fantastic. The seats are comfortable- I drive out of my way to see movies here for the experience. You can't find another theater in the area quite like Alamo Drafthouse

Probably one of the best movie theatres I’ve been too because of the unique experience. I think it’s so cool they actually serve you before and while the movie is playing. I thought this would be a distraction from the movie but they do it in such a way that they’re not in the way and don’t disturb you at all after the movie starts. The food was good and the reclining seat was nice. They have a bar there as well. Just the overall experience is really good and I’m pretty sure I’m going to become a regular now after my first visit. Cost wise, I took a family of 4 there on a Wednesday night and the total cost ended up being $140 after tickets, popcorn, drinks, snacks and food. The prices for food are very reasonable.

This is one of THE coolest places to catch dinner and a movie.

The menu is ALWAYS top-tier & the specials they create for the bigger anticipated movies are flawlessly put together.

I'm personally a sucker for the fried pickle spears appetizer and they serve spectacular fish & chips.

I can also RAVE about the service! The employees are all just too great at what they do & help with.

Make a special trip here for all of the bigger movies you're excited for, they will not disappoint when it comes to making it a good time.

My entire family loves coming here. It is always a treat, as it is much more than a movie theater. The season pass is an amazing deal and the vibe of the theater is one that is welcoming and fun. The only downside might be the parking lot, which can get a bit crowded during peak hours. The staff is always super friendly and the food is usually great. Would definitely recommend!

Best place to watch movies. Comfy reclining seats and you can order food and drinks during the movie. Service is always friendly and they have new and old movies and special movie nights and premier events. I love this place.

Nice environment. They have seats that fold back and someone that serves you.

They also have a bar in the lobby.

I'm definitely late to the hype of this place, but it certainly lived up to everything I've heard about it. I don't know that I'll ever go see a movie anywhere else again. This is what the movies should be like.

Projection and sound quality were great. The food was great and the service was incredible. The things that have kept me away from going to other theaters, cell phones and inconsiderate jerks talking during the movie, are not tolerated here.

We're already looking at coming movies to plan our next trip.

The only theater I know that serves food and drink, has decently comfortable chairs, does weekly trivia, rents out VHS tapes, and most importantly: demands everyone be quiet and respectful of each other while in the theater. When someone is causing a disruption, raise an order card, and they will be dealt with. If you value a good theatergoing experience, you’ll be sore-pressed to find a better overall experience elsewhere.

If you love movies or just a great theater experience (most theaters feel like a Greyhound bus station) than this is worth the drive if you live in Chapel Hill like me. Saw Capt Marvel and Endgame here (lovely movies btw) The Alamo has their own trailers tailor-made for the movie you're about to see and there's very little commercialism before the actual movie. Ticket prices are very reasonable for the experience (soft leather reserved seating with recliner feature) and the food service at your seat couldn't be easier. Food prices are a bit much but food is GREAT and made from scratch. They also make a great old fashioned. This is the place to go to impress a friend or a date. You will never be disappointed coming here. This place is Movie Love

Alamo is a superior movie-going scenario. It starts and ends with a elevated cinematic experience with great sound and picture quality. Recliner seats are comfortable and theaters are clean. Food and drink is available for during your film or for enjoying before or after. Beer selection is especially well managed and service is friendly and chill. The atmosphere is excellent, with a hip, pulpy vibe. It's honestly difficult to go back to my old theater.

This cinema was an absolute blast to visit! The aesthetic is extremely fun and the decor is a cinephile's best friend.

I loved the setup with the food arrangements. Once you are seated you just order from the menu attached to your seat table and a server comes and takes it from you and brings it to you.

The inside of the Cinema has a bar/snack area with seating and a large selection of vintage, cult classics and new movies. Including lots of foreign films!

10/10 will visit again!

This place literally has a video rental store inside of it. So cool. There are giant vintage B movie posters everywhere. Yes yes yes. Good food, too. We had fries, the buffalo cauliflower, and the Bavarian pretzel pizza. Great experience. Love these guys.
