Everything was top notch from top to bottom! The service, the food was simply amazing, the decor and atmosphere and even the wine. Absolutely a stunner that I would have never expected to find in a small city like Springfield. Coming from Illinois I would have expected this type of establishment to only be found in a big city. A+

Beautiful atmosphere creating the perfect gathering spot with family and friends or date night with your person. The food was full of flavor. Unique flavors that make your taste buds do a happy dance. We will for sure be back! Our server was on point checking on us and very friendly.

Took my parents out for my Mother's 86th Birthday. The Food was amazing and she got to have a Smokey Jack Daniels Manhattan which she likes better than Maker's Mark. Dad and I enjoyed our meals and he had a Manhattan too. I had a cola, being a responsible driver 😇 we shared in Mom's birthday Creme Brulee (thanks to the waitstaff!) Which was caramelized to perfection. I think I had the teriyaki chicken, which I recommend. Definitely one of Springfield's High-End Restaurants.

I had to wait a little bit for my take out order but it was well worth it! I got the Hawaii 5-0 Roll and a sea weed salad, and it was phenomenal!! My first time trying that roll and when I opened my take out I was surprised with how beautiful it was and it tasted soooooo gooooood

I can't complain our food was fantastic, service was superb. You don't have to hunt down your server for refills. Most of the time they sneak in and drop off a fresh drink without saying a word. I had ask my husband do you think the chef has a Michelin star? The food was that phenomenal!!

This place was amazing; the blueberry-glazed salmon melted in our mouths. The room looks great. The service is the best part. (I hope I'm spelling this right.) Amento, our waiter, was funny, fast, and only came to our table if there wasn't food in our mouths. There is nothing bad I could ever say about that man. This was our 10-year anniversary; we didn't say anything about it. till the desert came, but we were treated like kings and queens the whole time. I will say that for anyone going, the price may seem higher than in some other places, but that is because the food here is just so freaking amazing that it is worth it.

My favorite restaurant in town. I have never had a bad meal. I would eat here everyday if I could.

Words cannot describe how awesome this place is. The food , the staff, the atmosphere, all top notch. The seared tuna is our favorite dish, though it is an appetizer. The sea bass is the best I’ve had, especially this far inland. When I do lunch I do salad with med-rare salmon or the Hawaii 5.0 sushi roll. I’ve tried many of their entrees, never being disappointed. I highly recommend coming here for lunch or dinner, or both!!! Special thanks to A Meadow, he guided us through the menu our first time and keeps us coming back.

Ambience was neat, placement (covid precautions) was good.
Food waiting was not too long. Waiter was extremely helpful and attentive.
You can tell that he was passionate with his job. 👍 he really did a good impression.

Absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere was beautiful and created an elegant ambiance. To say the food was incredible would be an understatement. Every bite was exquisite. The passion is tasted, as well as seen in the presentation and by the severs. We will definitely recommend and be coming here again and again

Ocean Zen is a Springfield staple. Delicious every single time! We always look forward to our visits here. The sushi/seafood is super fresh. High quality ingredients. Our family loves this place!

Wife and I ate there this evening, the food was excellent. Grace, our waitress, was absolutely phenomenal. She helped us navigate through the menu, and gave us great recommendations. Overall it was a great experience.

Great place to eat! Impresses me more every time. To their sushi, drinks, and dessert. Anything you pick is good. Great for a family birthday dinner, whoever’s birthday it is gets a free crème broulette. I love this place. If I ever get the option to go here I say yes. And I hope everyone who goes has as great as a experience as me.

This meal was incredible. The seafood tasted fresh. The sushi roll was incredibly flavorful. The sea bass was perfectly crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside. The risotto was melt in your mouth amazing. One of the very best meals we have had….ever! Highly recommend!

Went on 3/31/23 This place was busy but yet quick seating. Fine Dining atmosphere. I felt under dressed in Tshirt & Jeans but they welcomed all 4 of us.
Waiter was extremely good and knowledgeable about the menu. Very good salesman as well . He talked 2 of us into the daily special.$75 per plate but was well worth it. The food was amazing. Hot , flavorful, tender, good sized portions. Bursting with Umami.
We came in knowing it was pricey but left happy and full. We will definitely be back.
I got lamb chops and let me tell you. That Asian fusion with the lamb was delicious.
Tried the filet and lobster that my daughter got. I’ve never seen her eat a steak and lobster so fast .
Seafood pasta was good too. Crispy bacon scallop, tender shrimp , succulent lobster and this fabulous sauce.
The crab wontons are the best in Springfield. The ribs on the appetizer plate. Was fall off the bone tender and the sauce amazing.
The Chef came out and checked on us and also did a tableside Banana flambé with house made dark caramel and candied pecans. I’m not a fan of bananas but this was the best I’ve had. I could eat those pecans by the bucketful . The Mac n cheese was fresh and cheesey my only complaint was they served enough to take home 😂

What an amazing experience! I went in expecting great things and I was not disappointed.

While I was there I spoke with the waiter and found out plenty about the place and how they came about and was pleasantly surprised when the food came out looking like a Michelin star restaurant! My food was perfectly cooked and presentation is everything! Lots of restaurants should take note! Will definitely go back many more times!

I had always wanted to eat here when it was located on Battlefield because the place was always packed when I drove by. Although the new location takes a bit of maneuvering to get to because it's right after a diverging a diamond, the new building is quite elegant. I went with my family during their lunch hour and the food was excellent. I also enjoy the indoor and outdoor scenery with the fishes and arches. Although it was a bit pricey, it is expected for such an upscale restaurant. I would recommend this place to anyone willing to spend a little more cash for a delightful meal.
