I've been using Chippewa Valley Financial Services for many years now. I have them file my business return every year. There have been multiple times I've needed files from them and had tax questions for them and they always attend to my requests very quickly. I highly recommend Chippewa Valley Financial Services to all my friends and associates.

We moved here over 2 years ago from another state and had our taxes done else where in Chippewa. We were frustrated by the results so the next year we went to see Dennis Hunts. He not only did our taxes but also rechecked the previous year taxes. My husband and I nothing but positive words to say about Chippewa Valley Financial Services. The whole staff is very professional and kind. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for high quality tax preparation in the Chippewa Valley!

Great people! Amazing service! They took the time to explain things I did not understand! They always guided me in the right directions as to what's best for my situation! Very helpful and professional service

I am only giving Chippewa Valley Tax Services one star because I have to. I would love to give zero stars or a negative stars if possible. Dennis prepared our personal taxes while we lived in Wisconsin. We found out in a letter from the IRS that Dennis made a mistake on our 2020 taxes. We checked to make sure we gave him all the W2's needed, and we did. He made a mistake and did not add in the income from a W2 that the employer later reported to the IRS. We reached out to him several times by calling but he was always "in a meeting" or "not in the office yet." My Husband was finally able to communicate with him a bit by email. He replied with --and I quote "I am on the hook for the fees" associated with the mistake. He was supposed to correct the mistake. He did not get back with us before the IRS due date and we had to pay the entire amount, fees included. We paid Dennis $375.00 to prepare our taxes, just to mess them up and cost us more money. My Husband asked for an update and he responded (after the IRS due date) with "It is legit and you owe the entire amount." There is no way this is correct as this would place me in a 55% tax bracket and that is not possible. I called the office again (after the due date) and was told "he was looking for our file." This is awful for a supposed professional. He has made no attempt to pay the fees, and has never returned one single phone call. I would NEVER recommend this tax preparer to anyone. He will make mistakes and take NO responsibility. He will ghost you and you are on your own to pay for his mistakes. Don't walk, RUN away from this one and save yourself the heartache and money. We would have been in better shape had we gone to H&R Block or somewhere much cheaper to have our taxes prepared. If you use this tax service MAKE SURE YOU CHECK YOURSELF BEFORE allowing Chippewa Valley Financial Services. If they make a mistake, they will NEVER correct it. We as the customers are left holding the bag for the mess made by Dennis and this tax preparer.
