Attended the honeybee festival. Had a wonderful time. A very safe and well organized event. We ended up getting a free T-shirt. Awesome

Super fun, new, modern playground for children of all ages! THESE are the types of playgrounds I enjoy taking my son too! Large, room to run around, up above and down below. Slides everywhere, multiple things to climb on or with. Very creatively layed out playground! Has trees around it for some shade. A cute little brook runs through this park. There’s a secondary smaller playground as well of course, for the little ones to play on. This park is simply beautiful. Love the monument up front honoring all first responders!

The 4th of July Park is a hidden gem that provides a variety of recreational activities, such as basketball, tennis, a skate park, playground, and dog park. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of amenities available and cozy walking trails. I also stumbled upon a 18th century schoolhouse (Piney Grove School).

We attended the park for a Walk For Apraxia event. The entire park was very clean and well maintained. It is also in a great and convenient location.
Sadly the skateboard park seems to be under repair, but still has a great playground and short walking trails available. The bathrooms were also very clean and well maintained.

Delightful! Crispy leaves made me worry about allergies, but after a slow walk to the restrooms, I thought this might be a “sensory park”. Tables of different heights at the shelter, softer wood-like walkways over bridges, signs for types of leaves, flowers, trees. And of course swings, playground.

In my car, I realized there were many reaching opportunities there.

Lots of children. Most visitors were very, very happy.

Every time we come here, it gets better. New shelters with an accessible playground! We've rented shelter #1 for several birthday parties and cookouts at 4th of July park. There is lots to do - basketball and tennis courts, skate park, dog park, playground, walking trail, creek and outdoor classroom, and a nice paved walking trail. Several shelters and picnic tables throughout. Bathrooms by the playground are usually stocked and clean, although we have been a couple of times and no toilet paper. Changing table is available.

Wonderful community park. People come out to play basketball, tennis, skateboarding, children playing on the playground, beautiful creek to throw rocks or put your feet in, and a great park to take a walk.

It is a very nice place to take your dog for a walk, or just go to the playground for your little ones. Also if you need a place to have an outdoor party, we'll, this is a great place .

Nice place to walk. The playground is fun and safe for different ages. The kids love playing in the creek. And it is one of the only parks that has shade.

Smallish park (compared to Triad Park not too far away) but lots to do. Fair amount of shelters, playgrounds, tennis courts, and dog parks (1 for big dogs and 1 for small dogs). Almost forgot to mention the skate park! Great place to walk around, lots of shaded areas. If you park in the lot near the skatepark, there are some picnic tables fairly close, perfect if you're taking your grandparent out for the day or if you yourself aren't able to walk long distances. There is a blue light in one of the street lamps in the park, good calm spot for photos.

A great big park with a very diverse set of areas for all ages. A basketball court, tennis courts, a skating area with several ramps and jumps, shelters, walking trails, a dog park, and a great playground! Because it's so big, it can handle a lot of traffic. We spent two hours easily with our little one, and of course leaving was the hardest part. Highly recommend it!

Cute little park! Play structure is nice and big and accommodates lots of kiddos! Lots of good shaded places for parents to sit, parking lot adjacent, bathrooms across the parking lot, picnic areas with a covered shelter, separate play structure for the tiny ones, padded surface under the playground to ease falls.
