This place was amazing!! Definitely a hidden Gem. The staff was very nice and helpful. We camped out and the spot we had was awesome. There is a large roaring Creek running through the property, so no matter where you are you can hear it. The property also had a huge hot tub out on the deck overlooking the creek, it was beautiful. There is also a restaurant and a bar on property as well. The food was great and the karaoke that night was super fun!! This property is still under renovation and there are some VERY minor flaws such as the sauna room almost felt like a storage closet, but that was only because they are in the process of making it better. There are only 4 rooms and a few camping sites, so the hot tub was very private and my husband and I had it by ourselves for over an hour. All you can eat breakfast on Sunday morning. What a great stay!! I'm definitely going back.

Amazing staff, owner and cook. The food is always great and the rooms are always clean and you have everything you need right at your fingertips.

Wonderful experience!! We wanted something close to us and good so thought we’d try it out. The food was great, the waitress was delightful, and the atmosphere by the river was calm and peaceful. We wanted to try a little of everything so we tried the Steak, Veggie Burger, chicken fingers, Tiger Burger and the onion rings. We were not disappointed. We were so pleased we decided to finish it off with the cobblers. We went away pleasantly plump. We will definitely be going back.

This place is great. The staff treats you like family, there is a beautiful brook that runs behind the rooms and the restaurant outdoor balcony. There is a also a pool table and a bar. Corey and his family and staff are super accommodating and nice. True Appalachian hospitality that I could not recommend more highly. I will be back!

Friday night,steak night! Also had the crab legs to go with it. Meal was prepared quick,and they had a full house! So no complaints here. Good meal at a great price! Staff and owner are really friendly, always making sure we didn't need or want for anything.

What a great place!! Food, atmosphere, people..all stellar!! This is a fabulous place to hang out and enjoy a meal, a drink and some pool!! Clean, comfortable atmosphere by a beautiful creek. Loved it!! If you haven't been, you are really missing out. Hope the locals will support them so we will have them for a long time!!

Lunch here was quick and tasty. I had the chicken Caesar wrap, which comes with natural fried potato chips. The sweet tea was excellent. The dinner menu looked good (next time!). There's a billiard room and lots of outdoor seating with a real nice view.

Booked the King room mid week for a couples night out on 10/13. The room is quaint with original oak flooring and Knotty Pine paneling. The bed is medium firm Memory Foam King size and I've never slept better.

Right outside the window is a small waterfall and can be heard fine. Bring a couple of bundles of firewood and have a campfire on the banks of the river, share a bottle of wine.

It's quiet, remote, and features some of the most amazing stone work on the property. This place has tremendous character, the room was spotless and Corey met us as we pulled up.

He offers reduced rates through AIrbnb this time of year, and since we are local, it was just a very short drive.

We could easily make this a monthly treat

Fantastic little gem off Pickens Hwy! Comfortable beds and great staff! Rooms are adorable. I was in town from California for a critical family issue for a relative who lives in Balsam Grove so I didn’t get a chance to experience the restaurant and bar but the vibe of the entire establishment is awesome and I will definitely be back to do that in the future!

Wonderful! My husband & I stayed here after hearing a guest talk about how great this place is. It was a little further out than we wanted but it is worth the extra few minutes. We called and they were great over the phone. Corey, the host did a great job of accommodating our last minute stay. This place is under new ownership and they have put so much work in updating the rooms and restaurant. A clean room, Comfortable bed, plush pillows and towels. RiverBend Lodge is next to a river that will lull you to sleep. So relaxing! The restaurant was amazing as well. We each got the Ribeye Steak ordered rare and medium rare. It was the best steak we have ever eaten! It was so good, we ordered the same thing the second night thinking there is no way it can be that good again...PERFECTION!!! Our waitress, LaChrisha was fabulous and we got to meet her Mom AKA the chef! EVERYONE is so friendly without being overbearing. We left feeling as though we had made new friends and hope to go back soon! Thanks to the entire staff and friendly locals! P.S. They also have a sauna and hot tub.

This was a great experience for the family and affordable! We stayed 2 nights and had dinner there. The owner and staff treated us like family and the food was great. We could look out our window at the river and in the evening listen to the relaxing sound of it. They made a fire outside by the stream our last night and it was great. The beds slept great and the room was perfect for the three of us. It also has a jacuzzi and sana to relax in after a long day in the mountains! We are coming back again for sure and would recommend to any of our friends.

Find this place on accident and it was around lunch time so I figured I'd stop in to grab some lunch and a beer. Pleasantly surprised, food was excellent! Had the Tiger burger at the bartender's recommendation and I don't regret it. Bartender was very friendly as well. If I'm ever passing back through, I'll definitely stop again!

Got the rib eye. It was incredibly awsome. Cooked perfectly to order the first time around. They have one of the best side salads I have had in a very long time. When we first arrived the waitress brought us our drinks, I was so thirsty I drank my water very fast. The young lady serving us noticed I was thirsty and brought another glass of water and refilled the first glass too. She was very attentive and offer great service. I am already looking forward to going back

My husband and I,
are here for a winter get away from Florida and we are beyond impressed. Our room is so cozy and cabin-like. There is a sauna, hot tub, and a beautiful deck over looking a creek. Not only is the restaurant family owned, but the food is amazing! Our room faces the mountains from every view and the landscape is breathtaking. This hotel is about 50 minutes from Asheville but very close to Brevard, a super cute little town with a lot of history. Our host have been amazing with accommodations and hospitality. You will not forget your stay here!

We found this gem a couple months ago and are now frequent diners. From a nice romantic dinner for two to family meals, this place is great. Love their theme nights, and special performances for an evening out. Food is amazing. If you’re lucky enough to catch the Tiger Burger on the Special’s Menu, you will not be disappointed. Best Ribeye in town.

We enjoyed two steak dinners! I had a loaded baked potato and salad, and my husband had a baked potato and baked beans. Everything was great! We are just vacationing in the area, but we will definitely be back next time we are here!

Very impressed with RiverBend Lodge Restaurant & Bar! My daughter and I finally had a chance to make the drive up from SC today for breakfast (and to see some snow) and it was very much worth the drive 😊👍 ❄ plus she very much enjoyed the Disney movie they had playing while we ate

Had a great anniversary stay last year. Staff was exceptional. Highly suggest the stuffed mushrooms. The creek was amazing to fall asleep to right outside the window.

Riding our motorcycles we stumbled up this rustic, mountain feel restaurant and bar. The atmosphere is really great and the service is wonderful. The location is perfect and I highly recommend it!
