El Mezon - Mexican Restaurant

Excellent authentic Mexican cuisine! I love the seasoned meats here. The salsa is very good and the chips are crunchy and fresh. The special extra hot sauce is good with a little kick to it. My favorite place for Mexican food in St. Peter’s. I highly recommend this restaurant. Excellent top notch customer service. Very clean place. They take pride in their food and there service. One of the best in the area!

I travel for work. Eat out often. I love Mexican food. This was the Best Mexican food I have had in 10 years! I rely on google ratings and only rate when 5 stars. This is my first rating in a few years. Always skeptical but when I drove up the parking lot was full. Always a good sign.

First time. Walked a mile to this restaurant on the recommendation of the Rush Truck Dealer, was not disappointed, prompt service food was hot and portions were good. Got to meet the owner Arturo, he was very intensive and involved with what when on in the dining room and kitchen.

You gotta try Jose's the Panamenian bartender Margaritas. Great fiesta atmosphere, Fridays and Saturdays to mingle. Love this place for drinks or bring the family or both. Lol

We had gotten food from their food truck off Veterans and K by 70 and sat on top of the truck and only later realized it was a restaurant. Loved the food from the truck so we had to visit the restaurant itself and we were not disappointed. Place was packed on a Thursday night after the holidays so we knew it had to be good. Mariachi band was walking around and playing songs, we were sat quickly even though it was busy, food was brought out fast, they divided our checks no problem, cleared our table of extra plates quickly and appeared quickly to ask for refills often. I got the 4 street tacos and the sauces they came with (queso and something with a T) were incredible together on them. Would definitely go there again!

Update;
We were there Thursday, 9/28 and when I walked towards the restroom the smell of sewer gas was very noticable and horrible. Please fix this issue.....

I like El Mezon. Always friendly and fast service. Comfortable and relaxing to sit and talk. Good prices, good food.

About a 15-20 drive across the bridge but totally worth it. Our local spots are always so crowded on Tuesdays. The margarita tower was priced nice at $32 and we were lit between the two of us. The food Also hit the mark. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. I’m so to get another free night to sneak out there with hubby. The place is nice sized so if you have a larger party good for that too!

We went here for a family birthday dinner tonight. There was at least 10 of us and they had a table set up with us seated within a few minutes. The service was incredible! Our food was so yummy!!! If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I'd definitely would!!! I will be back soon!!!

Absolutely delicious. I am so glad we found this place. This place is no joke. My wife loved her garlic shrimp. I highly recommend the fajitas and my son said his chicken was awesome.

Great experience, and food. It was super packed, and the food came out super fast. Huge portions for the price which seemed to be roughly 15 bucks per plate. It didn't seem bad for how packed they were since there was always someone walking by asking if everything was ok. Will definitely be coming back with friends and recommending this place.

Don't forget they have margarita towers!

Great food, could not be any better. We feed 3 of us on what you see. Fast service, from walk in the door to paying, 20min. The worker are friendly & attentive. We will be returning!! Btw the shrimp are awesome !!!

I wish I would've come here sooner! This place is so cute and feels authentic. My bf ordered the Molcajete, which is basically spicy Mexican stew in a tomato/hot sauce concoction served with tortillas, the presentation is amazing and the flavor is the same!

Very good food. Some of the best Mexican I've had in a while. Huge top-shelf margaritas. I had the chimichanga gigante with steak. It was so good. Steak was tender and seasoned well. Queso was delicious. My friend had the Carne asada which he enjoyed. Ate outside on their patio as it was one of those beautiful fall days. Will definitely be back. Had menudo as well which they served on the weekends. There was no hominy in it and the broth needed a little spicing up,but was still good.

The place was packed, now we know why. Delicious food, drinks and atmosphere! Grande beer, Medium Marg., #5, quesadilla special, Steak Guadalajara.

Fantastic place for lunch. $5.99 lunch specials including my favorite Beef Fajitas. Great service, clean, hot food and amazing staff. Everything is good here. Check it out!!!!

We had chicken fajitas and grande special dinner. Chicken fajitas was good as always. Grande special dinner was good too, but I don’t think I will order it again.

Always great service accompanied by tasty eats. For better ambiance, I would suggest their other location. Unfortunately, they were closed due to fire.
