I’ve eaten here twice in the last few months and the food is always good. The servers are always polite and the atmosphere is really great. I love the chicken and steak hibachi and always order the same thing!

This restaurant is about an hour and twenty minutes from where we live but we try to get back here as often as possible…usually with friends!

Outstanding food, great service. Clean, modern atmosphere. Staff seem like a big happy family who are very welcoming.

Not knowing where to go on a Chilly Saturday night, I decided to try out Umi’s in Columbus Mississippi. I love sushi but Being very picky I am always in search of the freshest and best. Well I wasn’t disappointed! I Sat down and was greeted with the most beautiful warm smile from an Asian waitress. She Guided me through the sushi menu and I decided on trying a mix of sushi and sashimi with Red Tuna, White tuna, salmon, surf clams, with a side of spicy mayo. After my first bite and looking up, I expected to see the ocean and harbor of fishing boats in my view because this sushi was so fresh! Each bite melted in my mouth and the touch of spicy mayo, a thin slice of ginger with a dab of wasabi, dipped in soy sauce highlighted each bite! Soooo GOOD! The night was finished with a cocktail And another beautiful smile from the waitress. Great food, fresh sushi and a wonderful family atmosphere. I’ll be back most definitely! FIVE ⭐’s Cheers 🥂

The orange dragon roll , spicy salmon roll for me are the best if you don’t like avocado these are your BEST choices. The menu is chalk full of favorites from Bento boxes to whatever sushi you choose

Wonderful food that's packed full of great flavors. The cook was extremely nice and friendly and interactive with the table.

I really do love eating here, and it is a great restaurant. However, I had ordered something just now and it was supposed to be EDOMAE not EDAMAME. I was trying to get the platter that came with the seaweed and the rice.

You have to wait a little longer for the grill instead of a table but it was worth the wait. The food was delicious! I got Chicken Hibachi which is basically egg & rice, chicken, vegetables, salad, and soup. It was incredible! Our cook and waiter was friendly, helpful, and fun. Great service! I plan to come back asap. :)

Hands down Umi’s is one of the best dining experiences out there!

They made a mistake on our order, and they took care of it very gladly.

Oh my goodness where do I start! All I can say is that from the time we walked in till the time we left, everything was just wonderful. The food was super delicious and tasty! It's a must that we go back and I highly recommend anyone else to go check them out as well. Please go! The shaggy dog roll was superb and the hibachi as well.

This was such a nice experience for my husband and I and our kids (8 & 3). The food was amazing, staff was nice, table-side chef was both kind and incredibly talented. We loved it and will be back!

I always like to go there for my birthday it’s the Japanese restaurant I like to go if I had a lot of money I would there every day

It’s the only joint in town, but that’s for a reason. They have great service and food.

Great food but server was to busy with his phone. The cook saw me trying to get the servers attention and called him over. Really nice place though.

We go here all the time. And it’s always great. I was on a liquid diet for some time and yes I love the clear soup. I got them to fix it for me in large containers so I could take home and warm up. Thank you. This saved me.

Wow this place is fantastic. I got steak and shrimp from The hibachi and took them back to my hotel. Perfection. The soup was good but the ginger dressing on that salad was fantastic . I would just love to see them include an option for a mustard sauce for those of us that don't like the traditional yum yum style sauce. Other than that don't change a thing
