Gospel Light Baptist Church

Gospel Light Baptist Church is a wonderful church with very friendly members. I'm also a member. Everyone is welcome to join us. We have Sunday School at 10:00 and church at 11:00. Please give us a try or Livestream our services . Hope to see you Sunday.

I can't say I've ever been to a church that was more welcoming than here. Just WOW! Pastor Morrison seems very humble and sincere while still having biblical convictions. And not some slick & smooth stage actor like many pastors - (Sorry but its true). Everything is so down to earth but not hokey or goofy. Strongly considering going and may join.

I've attended Gospel Light basically my whole life, with exception of a few years after marriage. My Sunday school teacher planted the seed by teaching me about Jesus. One Sunday, at about 8 years old, the Holy Spirit opened my eyes; he put the thought in my mind, it's real. I realized all these stories I had been learning was real. God is real. Jesus is real. Looking back, I know now this was the Holy Spirit convicting my heart. I think a week or so later, one Sunday morning, in preaching, brother Bobby Roberson spoke about hell, and the Holy Spirit convicted my heart. I knew I didn't want to go there, and God showed me through the things brother Bobby preached from the Bible that I needed to be born again (saved.) During the invitation, I went up and asked Jesus to come into my heart and save me, and he did.

Today we have pastor Matthew Morrison and he is truly a blessing from God. He is exactly who we need to lead us during this time. He preaches the truth from God's preserved Word, the 1611 King James Bible. I hope you will visit.

I grew up in this warm and happy church. Moved away, and now I'm back 30 years later. My family is still here and my church is still a warm and happy place to worship.

I grew up in the church and have loved going there my whole life! I love the current staff and their families, they have been a great addition to this place! You won’t find a much better Bible preacher than Bro. Matt

I've only been twice now, and I was greeted before, during, and after service - that by itself should say, I want to keep coming back. But I was also looking for a particular kind of pastor/sermon. One who has the courage to speak up hot topic moral issues of our time. This pastor is one that I would follow into this spiritual war of good and evil.

Pastor Matt is a sincere blessing to my walk with God.
This is a real church. No judging, no stereotypes. Just the Word of God preached out of sincere love for the brethren and the lost.

Just started to go to church here! I love it thus far! Lots of members there. A bus system that picks up over 500 ppl mostly kids! They feed every child who rides the bus! The entire buss staff has a real heart for children and go out of there way to help whenever the need arises!

This church is wonderful!!! A new co-pastor is now here. He's young and full of Godly wisdom,led by a wonderful pastor. I believe if you visited, you'd really love the friendly atmosphere here.

Gospel Light is a very blessing place to come and every Sunday I would just sit there and just listen and listen to every verse in the Bible when their preaching with listen it's all about respect is about loving one another and keeping prayers and moving forward and I love this church I got a lot of handshakes I got a lot of talking when I walked through the church door and walk straight up and I wave at everybody and I share the love with everybody that comes in the church we all have our days in the church there's a time when you can love a person and love one another

I have been at Gospel Light for 55yrs under Bro. Bobby Roberson, now Bro Matt and Bro Frank ,Saved thought the bus minster, my Mom got saved here, my baby girl got saved here , and she went to school here also (GLCS), and she is in Church at KBC and serving the Lord, This is a Awesome place

I dont attend this church but we've visited there when we are traveling through several times a year when we are away from our church in Tennessee, they always make us feel right at home and love the pastors and singing by the chior, truly an old fashioned, independent, like minded, Baptist church

IM 30 YEARS OLD AND WENT HERE AS FROM AGE 6 UNTIL I WAS 11 YEARS OLD AND LOVED IT....I LIVE RIGHT DOWN THE ROAD FROM THIS CHURCH IN NICE APARTMENTS ON WEST MOUNTAIN STREET IN KERNERSVILLE...I HAVENT BEEN TO CHURCH AT ALL IN 19 YEARS FOR VARIOUS REASONS AND DONT WANNA BE A HIPPOCRITE I BEEN ENJOYING NORMAL LIFE THIS ENTIRE TIME DURING THE PANDEMIC AS ALL SHOULD BE DOING LIVING LIFE NORMALLY IM NOT GOING TO LIE IM A DRINKER IM NOT AN ALCOHOLIC BY NO MEANS BECAUSE I ONLY DO IT SOCIALLY I BEEN AT THE BARS DURING THIS PANDEMIC I AM A STRONG KARAOKE SINGER AT THESE PLACES AND LOVE MY ROCK N ROLL ITS WHAT I HAVE DONE FOR YEARS AND AM NOT GIVING THAT LIFE UP..I MAY CONSIDER GOING HERE AGAIN SOMEDAY BUT IM AGAINST COVID 19 MASKS AND PEOPLE WHO WEAR THEM AND IM SURE MANY DO AT THIS CHURCH AND ARE RIGHT NOW...I HAVE MY OWN WAYS OF WORSHIPING GOD ON MY OWN TIME...REALLY NO NEED FOR CHURCH AT ALL TO WORSHIP GOD AT ANY GIVEN TIME AND BE CLOSE TO HIM HE IS WITH PEOPLE NO MATTER WHERE THEY ARE IN LIFE NO NEED TO SIT IN A CHURCH FOR 2 HOURS OR MORE ON SUNDAYS WITH PEOPLE WHO ARE BAPTISTS LIKE MYSELF TO KNOW WHICH GOD I SERVE WHICH IS JESUS CHRIST REGARDLESS IF I DRINK OR NOT IN MY LIFE...BUT EVERYBODY HAS THEIR OWN WAY OF THINKING

Large independent Baptist Church. Huge parking. Very friendly people, felt welcomed. They also operate an excellent christian based school (K- 12 I think). Website very informative.

A great place to strengthen your knowledge of the Bible and fellowship with believers.

Preachers and members are very friendly, the presence of the Lord can be felt.

I go to church here. They welcome me and teach the gospel.

Went to this church for the sword, on Sunday before the conference began. Brother Bobbi preached on the precious Blood of Jesus. What a difference it made in my life.
