New China Chinese Restaurant

This our go to gathering spot when our family gets together. The food is hot and fresh with a variety of dishes to choose from. The hibachi grill is much appreciated as you can select your items and the chef will cook them right in front of you. The price is very reasonable for an all you can eat restaurant with the drink included. The staff is pleasant and the restaurant is clean including the restrooms. I enjoy dining here, they have never disappointed.

good buffet, great staff. seems like there were lots of regulars there. hibachi is the best part because the food always comes out hot and fresh. theres a variety of fried food as well as classic chinese american dishes

Our family has frequent this established for years and the owners and workers know us very well. The food is always hot and fresh on the bar. They also have a grill area where the chef's cook your food they you pick out. The price is very reasonable for an all you can eat buffet and you definitely get your money's worth.

This is my go-to place for Chinese buffet. They have a large selection and the food is usually fresh. The staff is friendly and attentive. The dining area is clean and well spaced so you don't feel cramped. The buffet is well maintained by the staff and rarely runs out of food. I highly recommend it.

I have been here twice and was impressed both times at the taste selection and freshness of the foods. They even have food for picky kids. The only thing missing was some good dessert options.

We had a terrific lunch at New China this afternoon! The staff was friendly and the grill master was incredible! The food was grilled to perfection! They had a wide variety of fresh veggies and proteins to select from to grill. If you want to have a fresh healthy light meal in minutes.... New China is optimal option!

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Roanoke Rapids. The price is not bad for what you get. You can pick what the chef to cook for you. There is a lot of different choices of food to pick already cooked. The ice cream is head ache cold. This restaurant is in the Lowe's lot.

Really great place to eat. Lots of choices to make. There are deserts and they have soft serve ice cream. The only thing I wish they had would be homemade hot Chinese mustard instead of small mass purchased packets that do not taste anything like real hot Chinese mustard. Iv eaten at many places throughout the United states and abroad and I would say 80% of Chinese restaurants have this. Other than that small issue, for me anyway, I would recommend this place highly.

Good food my father's go to place as well as ours when we come to visit him

Great food. I love the face that you can pay the same amount for takeout as eating in. The food isn't weighed you can pack as much as you like as long as the lid closes. So you definitely get your money's worth. I also love to eat in. The grilled fresh food is delicious.

It's a buffet but fresh food and the grill makes to order

$14 for mid week lunch buffet including refillable soft drink (beer is also available). This is great value, and they did refill. Also good to have another choice for diet drink (Diet Mountain Dew) not just coke or Pepsi. Enough food variety for me, with various meat and seafood.

This place is wonderful. Staff there is soo friendly and cares about customers and their experience there. Great food.

Service has been good everyone always kind. Enjoy most of quisine. Im a big fan of the house chicken, old bay shrimp n onions, fried dumplings and egg rolls.

had a great time with family there. the food was cooked good and suprisenly fresh for a buffet this style. loved the hibachi grill part cook there was great! almost filled up on just that lol! but loved I will definitely be back again!!
