Appalachian Ace Hardware

I love Ace Hardware. It keeps me out of the "other" hardware store. At Ace I get quality service AND I can always find what I'm looking for. Nice to have a store where the employees know their business and care about their customers. I also really like the manager's Volkswagen!

Clean, well-stocked and staffed by friendly, helpful people. this is what a local hardware store should 'feel' like. Kudos.

I come here to get my fishing licenses and boat registration. It is way better than going to Wal-Mart witch is the only other place in town to do so. I also go there to find hard to find things that you couldn't find anywhere else. The staff is friendly and helpful. This is a smaller store than other Aces with no lumber section but they do have a garden section.

A little bit of an expensive line for some things What do you have some values in the store if you look between the lines. They always have what you want and there's always somebody to help you that's really important. For a local place it's been every years it's a great place to go but you have to wait for minutes because they're all the time Knowing everybody that comes in in the locals they love to talk until stories. Not the place to come to if you're going to rush but a place come through if you need help finding exactly what you need. 5 stars in my book

All the associates were very helpful and friendly. Got what I needed quickly. Also was shown how to replace the bar and chain for my chainsaw.

As good as any Ace Hardware i have ever been in. Glad they don't let disabilities get in the way of hiring..... and was real helpful.

Always a pleasure at our local Appalachian Ace Hardware Store. The big box in town just doesn't cut it for me.
8/16/23, shopped today. The store has recently been updated. Seems to be more products, better selection of hardware essentials, not as cluttered as it used to be. Helpful staff.

The staff at Ace are very helpful. When we are looking for what we need, they never fail to ask if we need help in our search.
Furthermore, they are knowledgeable regarding the item in question.

Regarding prices, we purchased a 3 foot adjustable pipe wrench for $25.00. That's right, $25.00! We were ecstatic.

Today, we got a shower head and a low profile fill valve for a toilet. Only 3 minutes from the job site. Location can't be beat.

Excellent little Hardware store. Staff is very friendly,kind and helpful. Also,they usually have what I need. A world of difference between Appalachian Hardware and the huge big box home improvement stores.

I ran out propane and called them 5 minutes before closing on Saturday they said they would be glad to wait for me to get there and filled both my 100 pound tanks. That’s what you call customer service! Thank you!! Your newest loyal customer.

I actually went into the boot store, right next door. They had a wonderful selection & good customer service. They even had a sweet puppy in there!!!

Ace! Great hardware store! Got a few keys made here at some point! Bought a few gifts for my more technically inclined family members. Its nice! People are nice!

Best Ace store ever. Always are greeted and asked what i need at the door and am assisted right to the product. Lately flowers are the big thing and the man in charge is really knowledgeable.

Great small town hardware store. Ace employees can always help with advice on projects. Rarely happens at Lowes.
