Exchange - Seymour Johnson AFB

I live in Virginia but I am from Goldsboro and do visit often and go to the BX on Seymour every time. I’m always able to find something to buy. The employees have also always been very kind.

Here is where customer service goes beyond. I called the BX because I was having an issue reaching the base legal office. The operator or associate at the BX was so kind to me and so helpful. She asked me did I have a landline and as it so happened I still did. She suggested I called using the landline instead of my mobile phone and it worked!!!! I joked with her that not too many people have landlines and wondered how they would get through.

But thank you to the wonderful woman who helped me with my quest to reach the base legal office…. Blessings to you!!!

They're making changes and the family friendly environment is going away. They have started making you check yourself out like Walmart. I think I am going to stop shopping there.

Went to the yearly airshow, Wings Over Wayne. Was awesome, just wished they let you know before hand no lighters at the gate terminal where the event is held at..

Great place to shop for the tax free benefit. Not as many bargains as it used to be. Most Exchanges are now just as expensive as Department stores.

Being a retired air force member I save quite a bit having the opportunity to shop at the military facilities

Nice and clean. And my kids and little niece's and nephew's absolutely love it here. The atmosphere is as safe as anywhere else like this.

Bought a new grill for Father's Day. Great price and Fred (in Lawn & Garden) couldn't have been any nicer. Helped us find the one that suited us, helped us get it paid for and then loaded it up for us. It's nice to find that kind of consideration. 🇺🇸

Good selection of things and they have an awesome worker there by the name of Angela that is so friendly and helped us with all our questions.

Got my kids their id's here today and stopped for some quick shopping. The people stationed here and support employees are pleasant and kind. It was a pleasure visiting and we will do so again.

I mean, what can you say, it's a military exchange. Good products brand name items, zero tax for beneficiaries. Can amazon do better, maybe. But you're not taking the stuff hone that day and you cant try things on to make sure they fit.

Jury is still out on this one. I just started using them. New customers are always treated nicely it's when you become part of the furniture that you see the real way they think of you. But for now it's a 5. Of course that's subject to change.

The selections were very good for an AAFEES Exchange. Like everywhere else, they were out of ammunition, but had a great selection of Sig Sauer and Glock options. I will be headed back that way soon.

The store shelves are starting to thin out the price of meat has skyrocketed. Other than that everyone is wearing face masks and social distancing is great

I lived on base for almost 10 years. Still a great place to shop. They have really good Black Friday specials too

Came to pick up a last minute Christmas gift and found the Apple product we were looking for. The electronics department was so helpful!

Commissary has some of the best deals in Goldsboro. Products are all generally cheaper then they are locally. If you are military or retired you need to shop here first.
