Bodacious BAR-B-Q

My mother & I had been on errands & needed a BBQ place that was opened on Mondays. Bodacious BBQ was outstanding: not only were the meat options excellent, but the coleslaw, beans, and potato salad were also amazing.

Food is great! Custom service could have definitely been better and more attentive. Girls at the window are rude

Recently tried this place for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised with their ribs. Very good and consistent each time. I used to eat at another BBQ place but I quit them because their flavor was never the same. The lunch staff are very friendly and helpful and always have a smile. I now eat here at least once a week.

Everything I've ordered here is amazing. Order ahead or sit in the dinning area, either way you're in for some really good BBQ.

This was my first visit to Bodacious. Food was ver good, service was excellent!

This is by far the best BBQ place to eat. It's in Lufkin, TX. But worth the trip for me coming from Houston as I also have family in the Naq. We always make it a main stop while there.

At first when I saw my sliced beef sandwich I was thinking of a lower rating than 5. It was simple. Bun, meat and a bottle of warm bbq sauce. I usually prefer glitz and glamor. However, sometimes you can nail the glamor and miss the important stuff. In the case of Boadacious they nailed the important stuff.

The meat was delicious, the warmed sauce had an excellent flavor and the toasted bun had a great crispness about it. The combo of these things made for a 5 star sandwich. Well done! Will definitely be back to sample the rest of the menu.

The woman taking my order was rushing me. I ordered BBQ sauce with my order and she kept forgetting the sauce. Other than that everything else was pretty good

The best chop beef sandwich in the entire world!!!
I have never seen anyone strike a better balance between meat, bread, and bbq sauce than these folks. Meat is excellent quality. Bread is always fluffy, never stale. The BBQ sauce is incredible; I first tried it over 25 years ago and it's has been perfect ever since.

EXCELLENT Bar-B-Que!!! We've been several times & I've tried many items off the menu. All were fantastic. Besides good food, the restaurant is always clean, which is important to me, and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

We went for the first time today and I was really impressed. The service was great (helped me stay on my keto diet) and the BBQ was awesome! Highly recommended!

Fast service and very good food. We both had the chicken plate with slaw and beans
