So I have been avoiding this place because of the Fusion in description. That word and restaurant usually means something that is not very good. Lia's is a very good place to eat. I like that the food is brought out to you when it is done and still hot. This often means that people will get food at different times. I like the flavors in the food. I like the level of heat. They actually use fresh and ripe Birds Eye Peppers (IE Thai Peppers) Medium is basically hot Mexican but not so hot as to cause pain or indigestion. I actually prefer Hot... but most people will not handle it. The first time I went it wasn't hot at all so I asked for pepper oil and a crushed bird's eye (thai) pepper was delivered. It was good but ghost peppers are the only ones I cannot eat straight so. The above review was previous 2 trips. On Today's trip the food was not as temperature warm on the previous 2 trips. The food was good as usual but it was colder in the restaurant and the temperatures of the dishes suffered. Everything was cooler to include the hot tea we ordered to warm up from the falling temperature day. Add a few pictures

Went there on a Thursday night to get the Pho. Y’all. This did not disappoint! The broth was on point with delicious savory flavor! 3 servers assisted us; they were all professional, pleasant and courteous. I love that Lia’s has a little bit of everything. Not picture, but we also got pan fried gyoza/dumplings and combination fried rice. Sooooooo goooood! Don’t forget to try their flavored tea! Mango is our favorite!!!

OMG ya'll I finally found a place in East Texas that makes kick ass Thai food! I was in Lufkin to find some furniture and were heading to our usual food joint when my wife found Lia's.

I was so excited when she said they had Pad Thai. I threw the car in reverse, did a J-turn, and found my way to Lia's. When we arrived they gave us some rangoons as a starter, then we order the fresh springrolls.

We were hungry so we each got a Pad Thai. Mine was spicy beef and it was the best thing I have tasted in a long time. It was much better than my own cooking.

My wife ordered a less spicy chicken Pad Thai and it was fantastic too! To round out the meal I got a passion fruit Boba Tea and it was great! Nice and cold and delicious flavor.

Do yourself a favor, stop by Lia's and order something. Then go back and order more. Then stop by again and order something else. I have told everyone about this place because I think the word needs to be spread.

Best Pad Thai I have ever had!

I always love coming here. the quality of the food great and always puts a smile on my face. surprisingly I see many people saying it took forever but they have a literal sign that says and I quote "good food takes time" so if you're picky of the time it took
get to go. all in all this is a great restaurant with even better food.

I can't say enough about Morgan! Just when you thought amazing service was dead... Morgan greets you with 5 star service! She's friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and attentive! I would love to see the manager create a more modern Asian vibe to match the outside of the building. I would also like the music to be more relaxing...I expect that in an Asian restaurant!

I was just passing through on my way to visit family. This was the best decision I made my entire trip!

The food was fantastic! The service went above and beyond my expectations. The young lady behind the counter who made my to-go boba order was the icing on the cake. It’s as if she had been making my drinks since I discovered how delicious it is.

This will become one of my favorite road trip rest stops! See you there!

So good! Wonderful, friendly service and great Thai and fusion food. My sister and I went on a lark for first time, and had lunch there for her birthday- edamame, onion soup, seaweed salad, lia’s spring rolls, and shrimp pad Thai all so fresh and yummy! And Thai milk tea for dessert. Delicious! Did I mention the super staff there? Lovely place & lovely people. You should go. ;)

Morgan was excellent. Very well informed about the vegan options. Nice, kind, and very very pleasant. The food was excellent. You will not be disappointed. My husbabd got the Basil tofu, veggie spring roll, and salad with the sweet soy mustard dressing. I had the basil chicken, with miso soup and the compliment wonton chips. Outstanding.

Always excellent service and some of the best food you can find. Best ramen you can get without driving to Dallas.
Unexpected gem in Lufkin!

I love this place. Each dish is made to order. They have several chefs in the kitchen so items don't come out all at once. They come out as they're ready. That's always a bonus IMO, I'd rather food be fresh and hot, vs hot bc it sat under a heat lamp while the rest of the order comes out. But I understand some people don't appreciate that factor.
The pad Thai is my favorite, it has an authentic flavor and the Thai chili they use to add spice has a very nice kick to it. Be weary of going higher than mild if you are sensitive.
For a non-noodle dish, Kung Poa or String Bean are my go to dishes.
They can cater to vegan eaters as well as make items low/no sodium, all you have to do is ask!
On Tuesday & Wednesday they have a Tonkatsu Ramen Special, and on Thursday & Friday they have Pho Vietnamese Soup.
Both sell out, so go earlier than later if you're coming for that specific item.
The boba drinks are freshly brewed and there are like 25 different flavor combos.
As with any place I have my favorite servers but I've always been treated with respect and attention. When they are a full house or short staffed (like every place can get these days) the service might be slower but it isn't any different than any other place.

I ordered the beef pho and pan fried pot stickers to go. I didn’t have to wait long at all and It was all super delicious. The meatball in the pho was so good. It was all so good honestly. If you haven’t tried this place you need to. Definitely recommend and will be going back soon to try the sushi and other things.
