Great place to have lunch open 11am to 3pm on Friday 11am to 8pm good food you get to pick out from a buffet fantastic employees very knowledgeable the sweet tea is the best with healthy and filling meal at a price that will make you feel happy and the bathroom is clean

They had a wide assortment of amazing food to choose from, even a salad and desserts.

I'm giving it a 5 for a country buffet. We had no food choice that was bad. Actually, it's one of the best buffets in our area. Desserts were just ok. Hubby had chicken fried steak off buffet * he said it was tender. I enjoyed the salad bar..not just iceberg lettuce and lots of toppings. I must admit that when we pulled up & saw the entry, I was skeptical but go on in. If you like country home cooking you won't be disappointed.

It was the best! Very delicious all the food was fresh and the environment was warm and welcoming! The overall experience is amazing. I am from Lufkin Texas but no longer live here and this is one of the best places i have eaten at in Lufkin and enjoyed in a long time! Definitely will be back when we come to visit again!!! The fish was my FAV°°♡♡♡

I always enjoy eating at Mr. Ray's. Food is always great and fresh. Everyone is always super nice.

This is, hands down, my husband’s favorite eatery in Lufkin. They pretty much serve the same things every day on their steam table but that doesn’t mean it isn’t good. Always great food for an unexpectedly low price.

Food was delicious. I like it because of fresh hot food and plenty of time to just eat and enjoy my family time. The experience feels like your at home with your family. The service was awesome from the time you walk in to the time you walk out. The cashier when you pay she was so friendly and professional. The restaurant was so pleasent and clean. This is a place where you can definitely take your whole family and enjoy!!

The food was great! Best mac an cheese!! I also had bread pudding, green beans a roll, chicken chz enchiladas, and the beef chz enchiladas. I really enjoyed it all!! The only thing that was unsatisfactory was my sweet tea. Too much ice. So I asked for another. The tea just wasn't sweet at all. But overall very satisfied.

As someone who grew up in Idaho, I am unfamiliar with soul food, or southern food. I was told to check this place out from a friend. I honestly had no idea what half the food was, especially the deep fried stuff but man was it delicious! Can't even tell what I had, the buffet was awesome! Staff was really helpful, the desserts were delicious! Lots of room for seating as well.

We had the buffet. OMG!!! It was delicious!! The selection was large and everything was DELICIOUS!! I have never been to a buffet where everything was all good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I just can’t say enough good things about this place. Will definitely stop here again!

Been coming to Lufkin for years never knew that this place existed. Great Buffet. The fried catfish is the best We ever had. Near all the medical services. Our new go to place.

Really liked to eat in but pressed for time. The fish plate always a good choice, lots of fried fish. Wish it came with the salad.

The value you get from here is insane, the buffet is actually good. Their burger baskets are amazing for just 6 bucks. Only limit is their hours, so definitely try this place yourself for lunch.

Love the Buffett. Waitress staff is attentive and take care of bringing beverages and clearing away plates. Very good choice for lunch!

Best food In Lufkin! Homemade home style and the very definition of SOUL FOOD!

Just the customer service alone is worth going in here but the fact they have a beautiful buffet spread that you can choose from in their food is really Dynamite helps with this five-star review. But I will be honest with you the girls at work there made me want to keep coming back I would go back even if the food was bad because their customer service is that good

Food is always good. Home cooking like Mama used to make. I eat lunch there at least once a week, sometimes more. Buffet is always hot and fresh. If you choose to order steak, they are always tender and cooked to your liking. Did I mention that the steaks are big and thick? They are really good. Service is always great. They keep your tea glass full and keep check on you if you need anything elae.
