I love this restaurant! The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is always relaxed, and they serve plenty of comfort food for GREAT prices! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are great! A hidden gem 💎 on the outskirts of West Sacramento.

There are some restaurants that you know that you’re going to have a good time the moment you walk in. Eppies is one of these places. They don’t serve anything fancy but if you want some good homey food, or need to feed a group of teenagers after a game, this is the place. Servings are large, service is great, and there’s easy parking outside.

I’ve been coming here for years and they most definitely never disappoint! Food is always fresh tasty. Thank you ladies for the great customer service mad tasty food.

I love Eppies! The food was cooked to perfection, and the service was top notch! It's very cozy and chill there, and I love to get a booth by the windows and watch the water. 🥰

Whar can I say about a Sacramento dining institution. Here in West Sac, there is Eppie's. They had an old building off Enterprise Rd, that was demolished years ago. I always wondered where they went if at all. So glad to see them still around.

They have this site, a good look on their building exterior so had to give them a try again.

They didn't disappoint. Their menu is as big as ever since I last had a meal many many years ago. Upon entering (on a cloudy cold afternoon), they have the heating on alright.
The wait staff allowed me to seat in an area that is not directly under the a vent.

The meal I chose was the French Dip. The price point is comparable to any sit down eatery. I had choice of Fries, Soup, Salad or Fruit. The meat is tender, the Au Ju is steamy hot and just the right taste to mame the dip sandwhich even more better.

I give this location a full 5 Stars rating based on everything one would hope to experience. That 5th Star is specially given when an business provides a Military / Veterans Discount. Eppie's met and suroassed my expectations. It is a must try in the Sacramento area.

Family dining... Excellent (some dishes the 2nd day weren't as good -- I think the Country Fried Steak was expected to be more "Chicken Fried" type but I didn't try it -- *MY* Reuben was tasty).... 5 Stars for burger and Tri-Tip Philly Steak sandwich). And for what it's worth: having lunched there, we came back the next day!!!

Amazing atmosphere and service. Our server, whose name was Breelynn, was one of the kindest servers I've ever had at a restaurant. The food is amazing too! The chicken looks and smells great. It's also very senior friendly and the environment is very calm and casual. 5 star experience all around!

A hidden gem! Audrey and the Servers are a delight. Sean is invaluable to the quality of of your meals. He's a leader because he has no weakness. I'm convinced he has the knowledge to smooth any ripple.

While staying at Sac West RV park, we came here last night for dinner and today for breakfast. Wow, the food is so good! We noticed that there are many regulars, which is a good sign to us. I recommend the Eppie’s Favorite Scramble!

This was a restaurant visited when growing up here in West Sacramento. It was nice to see it had moved into a new building. I can't eat because I have a feeding tube, however I can enjoy liquids. I had a strawberry milkshake. It was creamy and not too thick and not too thin. It had a fresh strawberry taste as if the strawberries were just picked and put in the milkshake. My sister ordered the blt in a croissant sandwich. She said it was perfect because it was not swimming in mayo. The bacon was crisp and not black the lettuce and tomato tasted like they have a garden out back and had just harvested them.
Her sandwich came with steak cut fries and were seasoned well.
The dining area is clean and it has that local restaurant vibe with the coloring pictures on the walls and the checkout area from all of the children throughout the community.
The staff treat you like family and are very warm and inviting.

The is very good, but not as good as the service. Usually eat breakfast there once every week. Really enjoy it there.

We were seated immediately and attended to by a very well mannered young man. The waitress was polite, friendly and attentive.The only reservation I have was that I did not get a refill on my coffee and therefore I was drinking cold coffee by the time the cup was halfway.

Our family has been eating at Eppies since the 1970s and we've always enjoyed the atmosphere and service.

We will continue to eat there for as long as it's open for business.

We stopped in after seeing the cafe was still open. Not knowing anything about the food but remembering the great race. I had the Reuben, which was delicious. The real corned beef brisket was something i have been seaking for some time now. I have been looking for a traditional Reuben sandwich, and Eppie's has it. Two of my favorites, corned beef hash with poached eggs and the Reuben, together in one place.

Love the breakfast sandwich. Awesome staff and atmosphere of a classic diner.

Update: they no longer serve my favorite breakfast sandwich. The other food is still good 😊 I just really liked that shredded cabbage,egg,bacon and cheese sandwich.

Lived 10 minutes away for 8 years. It is a classic 'diner' but food is better than a places like Denny's. I had the bacon blue burger and really enjoyed it.

Love this place! Outstanding waitress Denise was friendly, courteous and professional. Food was very good and you get a lot for your hard-earned money. Highly recommend to all. I'm definitely going to be a repeat customer.

My friend had the turkey dinner and I had bell pepper soup and tuna sandwich with a side of corn bread everything was delicious!

Outstanding is the first word I would use. Second word delicious. Last and final word excellent. A great place to take your friends and family. They make you feel at home. It’s been a long time since I have had good service and food. Don’t pass this place by. Just go inside, relax and have a good meal.
