Everyone from the front desk to the vet tech and the vet were kind and friendly. My cat was treated with love and gentleness. Vet Williams was knowledgeable and had solutions for my cats problems and figured out the best was to treat her. I was looking for a good vet and feel like I have found one. Thank you.

I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Klein and the vet tech, ( I don’t remember his name.), and the entire staff. I sent an email message because I wanted to explain all of what Petey had been going through in detail and I received a prompt reply and, less than a week later, we were in to see the vet. We went to a different vet for over a year and all that happened was Petey got worse, never better. Come to find out, he had secondary infections due to the allergies having gotten so bad. He had ear infections when we went to the other vet and all they did was give us the same drops that hadn’t worked all the times before we took him, and, come to find out.. there were better treatments for his ears, treatments that were never ever told to us as options elsewhere. Also, they never prescribed him antibiotics which Dr Klein did and, though I was hesitant about a Prednisone regimen, after Dr Klein explained it all, we went ahead with it and I’m so grateful we did. Dr Klein explained every single detail and I was able to fully understand exactly what was being done and why and what to do if Petey showed any negative reactions or effects. We had a blood panel done also and thankfully it came back fine! Peace of mind is priceless and it was necessary in order to ensure our sweetie Petey would get properly diagnosed had there been something that came back bad. Ever since our visit, and after receiving the news his blood panel was fine, I’ve been a total different person, myself. I didn’t realize just how troubled I’d been due to his prolonged, painful condition that started over a year ago, and to see my happy boy coming back from the misery he began to sink deeper into .. well all I can say is I’m forever grateful for Dr Klein and everyone at Dana Park Veterinary Hospital. Thank you for being who you all are.

My cats have always received great care. The staff and doctors are wonderful and take time to answer my questions. I will continue to bring my animals here for their medical needs.

I love Dana Park. They occasionally have only one vet, or the vet is performing surgery. But all the techs are nice, and they try their hardest to accommodate you scheduling wise. The front desk is very kind when I occasionally call worrying about my dog. I love Dana Park as a primary vet.

Myself and my Sophia girl loved this vet! We didn't have a great experience with our last vet, so finding one that actually cared about my pet and not my wallet wasn't easy in this small town. But Sophia and I immediately felt comfortable the moment we walked in. The staff was super friendly from the moment I even made the call to make an appointment. Sophia even bonded with one of the techs because she was a Dachshund mom as well. The doctors and staff went over and beyond, jumped through hoops, and bent over backwards to save my Sophia girl who had a scary life threatening infection. They took my feelings into consideration giving me plenty of time that I needed to think about important decisions. Never once felt rushed at all or made me feel bad about any decisions I couldn't make. I even got a hug the day of surgery because my emotions were all over the place. Thank you so much to everyone here who took care and loved on my little princess Sophia girl!!

Little Daisy Dog always gets the best care. Even though we didn't have an appointment we were able to do a drop off appointment for her to be seen. The vet said Daisy was not suffering from anything I was concerned about but reported that upon her exam she found Daisy had pulled a tooth out and it was stuck sideways. She assured me it was of no concern and would fall out on its own. And wouldn't you know it, it did just that. I was only charged a normal office fee. They could have charged me an "emergency fee" and could have charged me to have the tooth medically removed. I WOULD HAVE PAID IT. We have been with Dana Park for almost 20 years and have appreciated the care my pets have received.

My granddogger is a fraidy-dog and barks at everyone. Because he is big, people assume he is going to attack them. The staff here handled him with the utmost tender care to comfort him. I really appreciate the extra we got here in this extraordinary vet hospital.

We love this place. They are caring & supportive. The price is about the same as any place else around. But it's the staff and the Vets that make this place special. Not only did they remember me, but my animals and what we & they have gone through. That's a HUGE plus in my book.

This is Mr Emery. He is 6 weeks and had his kitten check up. Dana Park was JUST as happy for me as I am.

I have been a client of Dana Park Veterinary Hospital since they were on Hilltop. Each and every time I have had a problem with one of my dogs they have treated me like Family and given my spoiled dogs ( several of whom are somewhat neurotic) exceptional care. They are also respectful of my budget; offering me options. I have dogs ranging in age from 4 months to 12.5 years. There is no way to express my gratitude over the years and as the older Vets are retiring they are being replaced by exceptional younger ones: Evelyn Townsell and Kylie Byrd both have impressed me and I can not wait to meet Dr Hoff. I have bred Vizslas for over 25 years and have been impressed by the care of all the staff. I recently had an issue with my 8 month old male who had a foxtail migrate from his salivary gland to his lymph system in his neck. Evelyn or Dr "T" chased it doggedly and finally after two delicate surgeries got it. I was medical and both an X-ray and Nuclear Medicine Technologist for over 20 years and understand the problems associated with imaging a grass seed that has absorbed fluids until it is impossible to differentiate between the surrounding tissues. Add to that the scar tissue that it leaves behind as it travels through the glands and vessels of the neck. They are an exceptional team.

Our cat was acting very odd. Knowing that cats hide their illnesses we tried to get in to a vet closer to home but customer service was very flippant and did not have openings at all for the next two days at a different hospital. We called Dana Park Hospital and they scheduled us for the next day. An hour after scheduling they called back and were able to squeeze us in the same day. The staff were very kind and empathetic regarding our concerns with our cat. They were extremely gentle and did the exam in front of us. They were very knowledgeable and made sure we understood anything they were telling us. Even after the exam and the results that our kitty was perfectly fine just had anxiety issues they asked if we had any other concerns or questions. They called us the next day with results. The cost was not bad considering the visit, the full blood and urine panel and some anxiety meds for our kitty. They even had other cheaper options in case you cannot afford medications or full panels. I've been to other facilities where they are cold and take your animal in the back to do the entire exam and charge double. I would highly recommend this vet hospital and we will be bringing both our cats for yearly exams and any other future concerns.

Very impressed with this vet! The care, the prices, and the environment are wonderful. I was very impressed with Dr. Matthews approach to care for our dog; she clearly explained every medical procedure and was very honest about what she thought was necessary versus what she didn't. And they got me on much cheaper flea/heartworm for my dog! Definitely recommend.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We immediately felt comfortable with Dr. Bryd as she checked out our new baby. We moved to Redding a year ago and luckily have not had reason to go to the vet other than a regular vaccination for our dog. Dana Park is where we want to bring our fur babies! We will not be going to the other place from now on.

I've been going to Dana Park Veterinary Hospital for about 13 years now. Dr. Dyson has helped all of my dogs, took special care of them & found resolutions quickly. DPVH is moderately to higher priced when compared to other Vets depending on the scenario...but DPVH are truly worth every penny. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for and I've always trusted Dana Park Veterinary. They have always come through for my dogs and I. Even when pit bull passed away from old age, I received a card signed by the staff & a phone call offering condolences. That just blessed me so much. Every time I visit, the staff is professional, and I'm reminded of how smart the Vets are and I feel at peace knowing my fur family is in good hands. My pets deserve the best, so I take them to DPVH. EDIT: DPVH is now owned by someone else and none of the previous vet doctors are working there. As a result, I no longer bring my pets to DPVH.

Dr. Klein is awesome! My cat immediately warmed up to her which is unusual, as my cat is normally a little anxious in unfamiliar environments. All the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere of the office is inviting and cozy. I trust them fully to provide the best care to my cat. Natalie at the front desk is especially awesome as well!

I made a last minute weekend appointment because my grumpy old lady cat wasn't acting right (hiding, not coming for her treats). Dr. Byrd listened to my concerns, examined the cat, and kept her for the morning to do more recommended diagnostics (bloodwork, cystocentesis, ultrasound) so that she could make a diagnosis. She made an accurate diagnosis of a bacterial UTI and did an excellent job working with my grumpy cat. The cat is already recovering well from her UTI on her prescribed treatment. I highly recommend DPVH and Dr. Byrd for all you "my cat ain't right" veterinary needs!

They provide kind, compassionate support and are attentive to my kitties needs in a unique, beautifully designed veterinary hospital. I feel especially grateful for the loving, compassionate, support Dr Matthews & her assistant provided to Zoey during her examination. In addition they provided empathetic condolences to me for the loss of Zoey’s brother, Skyler who passed away two days prior to her annual examination.

We have tried other vets but this is one of the best. The staff is friendly and helpful. The vets know what they are doing and give great advice.
We took our new puppy here for her first check up and shots and it was a good experience. Everything was perfect and the prices aren't too high.
I love that there is an app to keep track of everything! We will be bringing all 4 of our dogs here now.
