Gaia Hotel & Spa Redding, Ascend Hotel Collection

We had such a great night’s sleep at Gaia. The bed was amazingly comfortable. The sheets and towels were clean and crisp and fluffy. And it was so quiet, despite being right off the freeway. I will be back!

Super good pricing for such a nice hotel. Right off the freeway. Have spas and a restaurant. The grounds are really pretty and its a very nice setup.

I love the setup of this place. Rooms are just ok nothing fancy. But the round 2 story buildings placed thru out. It would be a great place to have a SnowBunny Swinger TakeOver

Stayed for our honeymoon and two years later again for the anniversary food is wonderful, place is great.

My wife and I stayed here while visiting my cousin in Anderson. We had a great experience at this hotel from start to finish. I can’t remember everyone’s name, but I do remember Kassie and Elizabeth who checked us in. They were extremely professional and helpful. They told us of good restaurants in the area and things to do. I highly recommend the Gaia hotel and spa. Excellent value for the money.

This place I think is one of the best hotels shasta county they have a gym, they have a gated pool with a hot tub and they have all sorts of other amenities that are amazing I would would definitely check them out if you want a nice hotel at an affordable price

The staff were wonderful and it’s not surrounded by other businesses and the noise of constant traffic. This isn’t a 5 star hotel but it’s not a 1-2 star motel either. It needs some updating and you can tell that 10-20years ago it was probably an amazing resort. It just never fully grew into what it could have been. Our first room smelled of cigarette smoke in the bathroom but the staff quickly moved us to a new room. If you’re looking for a resort with walking trails lots of activities and are hoping you’re getting a $600 a night hotel for $200-300 you’re going to be dissatisfied. If however, you want to get away enjoy some of Redding and just have some peace and quite it’s a lovely hotel. They are clearly still suffering some shortages in the housekeeping department but our room was clean the staff was kind and our stay was delightful and we would be back.

My mom and I spent one night here last week. The room was clean and comfortable as well as quiet. The fountains on the property were beautiful and created a nice break from being on the road. We ate dinner at the restaurant on site and both really enjoyed our burgers. Every staff person we interacted with was friendly. I'd stay here again.

Fairly quiet. The bungalow was very quiet and spacious. Very clean. No elevator in the two story buildings. See the Koi in the ponds. Great fire pits with chairs for socializing at night outdoors. Good on site restaurant. Welcoming staff.

Great people. Excellent care and spa. Great atmosphere for couples or families.

Great hotel if you're in the Redding/Anderson area. Nice rooms and a huge koi pond that runs through the middle of the facility. And a good restaurant/bar on site as well. This is our go to hotel when staying in the area.

Stayed there for Brothers 50th Anniversary, they over charged me, still haven't got my money back, $175,

Recently stayed at the Gaia Resort and was very pleased overall! Stayed in a bungalow an found it very spacious, clean, comfortable and wonderfully quiet. The hot tub was non-op due to COVID requirements but the pool was refreshing. Enjoyed dinner and breakfast in the onsite restaurant. Super helpful staff too! Will definitely stay there again!!!

We enjoyed our stay here! It’s a beautiful property and my kids loved the pool.

Bring a hat if sitting pool side there isn’t much shade. The restaurant is a little pricey but convenient, there’s not a lot of restaurant options in Anderson.

My only complaint is the batteries in our fire alarm were dying, so at 2:30 in the morning it started beeping it felt like every 20 minutes so that wasn’t awesome! I told the front desk the next morning and he didn’t even apologize just said he would let the maintenance man know.

I was contacted by management by the issues we had with the fire alarm and for that they get upgraded to a 5 star!

This has been my sister's and I Oasis. We had to make a very hard decision and place my dad in the veterans home hours away from us,with that we had to find a nice place to stay at a reasonable price.we did! We have been stay here just over 3 years and would not think of staying anywhere else. The staff is Amazing and always helpful.
We also go to breakfast at the woodside grill right next to the hotel it's amazing !

Clean and cozy rooms, friendly staff, and ideal location right off the freeway but still feels tucked away. I liked the fountains, outdoor seating, and walk by the river. Very pet friendly. The restaurant was great. Only downside is there isn't much else nearby but you can't expect much more from a retreat.

The rooms are spacious, and open. Clean and we'll kept. With plenty of shampoo, and hand soaps. The amenities here are also something I have been happy with the pool is outdoors but seams to be in use a good portion of the year, the weight room is again big with several choices of what you could use. Although it could use a set of free weights and some yoga mats for people who want to do a few things laying on the ground. But overall it is a good gym. The lawn is well kept and very nice as far a views around the area.

We were here for just one night. Very interesting grounds. If you like the color green, you will adore this place. Green walls, green tile, green pictures, green hues and more green! LOL The name is Gaia, so yes it's supposed to be green. The campus was spacious and not too busy while we were there, so it was quiet. The room was clean and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The restaurant was nice as well, we were worried that the menu would be vegan, but Gaia allowed us to eat eggs, bacon and what ever else we wanted. :) Checking in and out was a breeze. The price was low. We were quite happy here.

I had my wedding at Gaia and it was amazing. The wait staff went above and beyond to help us set up, during the event, and clean up after. It makes me want to plan another wedding just to have it there again.

The food was spectacular and served by uniformed staff. All the guests seemed to love it.

My bridesmaids stayed there with me the night before and we have no complaints about the rooms. My new husband loved it too.
