Newby Buick GMC

We had our GMC SIERRA 2500HD serviced at NEWBY BUICK GMC. From the time I walked into the dealership, I was very impressed. The place is spotless clean. The service manager, Jake Smith, was very polite, friendly, and helpful. There was no delay in getting the service done. Their time management was first class. The service done by Joseph Arlotti was done to my full satisfaction. Thanks to all the staff at NEWBY BUICK GMC. .

Had my Sierra HD in for an oil change and tire rotation.
They noticed there was an open recall on the rear parking sensor and squeezed that in as well. They also checked the filters and noticed the air and fuel filters were dirty so they took care of that.

While I waited, a very-helpful sales guy let me test drive some trucks, which was a nice way to pass the time.

Price was very reasonable in the end. Oh, and they made sure to set the tire psi dead-on and they reset the filter monitors (that only happens at about half of the dealers I've had the truck serviced at).

I'll be back!

We were looking for a car for months and knew of Newby. We spoke with Andrew Crane about some cars we were interested in, and he was quick to get us in and had the cars ready to test drive. He was knowledgeable and honest about everything. We never felt pressured or pushed and he even took the time to compare some cars to the ones we were interested in!

Travis was great to work with too! He got us a great deal and answered all of our questions and concerns.

I was visiting St. George on a golf trip. My car wouldn't start on Friday about 11:00am. We were planning on leaving Sunday so I knew I was up against a time constraint with dealership working hours and service availability. I got a hold of your service department and spoke to Doug. He helped arrange for a tow to the dealership and then got the problem diagnosed by about 1:00 that afternoon. A fuel pump was ordered and I picked the vehicle up later that afternoon.

Doug was great in making this happen so quickly and I was surprised and thankful for his help. I didn't get the same support when reaching out to another local dealership.

I want to thank Chris H. for all his help with the purchase of my Sierra 1500 truck. I was traveling and found ash issue with a previous warranty repair trust another dealership has performed. Newby immediately evaluated my concern, diagnosed the issue and started the repair. My advisor, Karo was amazing and attentive. They had me back on the road within a few hours, coordinated with the dealership who made the error, and took great care of me all through the process. They even loaned me a vehicle to use while I was waiting, so I could enjoy my vacation. I highly recommend Newby for all of your GMC needs!

We recently purchased a used vehicle from Newby Buick and were pleased with the experience. The sales folks aren't paid by commission so they weren't pushy, and everyone was kind and helpful. Bryn was awesome. They got me the 'out the door' price quickly and there weren't any additional hidden fees or surprises.

I was stranded when my truck decided that injectors were due to be replaced. Newby Motors and specifically Karo in the service dept was great to work with. He made us a priority since we were traveling from out of town. It was an expensive repair, but the work was completed quickly allowing me to continue my travels.

We were in the market for a new truck because our car was getting old and worn out. We were on vacation in St. George and my dad told us Newby was the best in town. We went down and found a truck we loved and they went above and beyond to make it happen. Erik and Troy were amazing and because of their great service and hard work we will definitely travel back to buy another vehicle from them!!

On Friday, I was traveling through St. George from SLC to Phoenix, on Easter weekend!!!, when my transmission blew. We were greeted promptly and my truck was immediately taken on a test drive. Once confirmed the transmission was gone, we were informed you had one in stock and will be installed immediately. Your service department had me back on the road within 5 hours. I was shocked. Although devastated by the outcome of my transmission and the unexpected expense, I could not have asked for a better dealership to work with! Thank you so much!!!

Chris Holmes was fantastic! Didn’t have the car we were looking for, said he would watch for something to fit the bill. Within 4 days was able to line us up with a great car! Was honest and very accommodating, even coming in on his day off to deliver the car after the deal was signed. Job well done Chris, we are very pleased to have worked with you.

Daniel did a great job helping me with my new truck. They were not pushy in any way. It didn’t feel like the typical car buying experience which is a good thing.

This is my second experience here with service to a certified GMC used Acadia which was purchased at this dealership.
The service adviser, Jake Smith, was extremely helpful in answering my questions and attending to my needs.
Jake was very knowledgeable and detailed in explaining the vehicle and how to use some of the electronic accessories.
I sincerely appreciate his patience and work ethic and look forward to having my Acadia serviced at this facility.

Just went in for an oil change and was contacted by Brynlie who remembered my wife and I had come in several months prior looking at new trucks. After showing me several vehicles I came home with a new truck. Love it! Great crew, Kevin and Troy were great as well.

Newby's website made it easy to schedule my 100,000 mile service appointment, and Doug Miller was my service manager. I felt that Doug had my best interests in mind, making sure that my services concerns were met. And they were. I asked Doug to have the brakes inspected, and to replace the pads if they needed replacement. Doug ensured that the inspection was done, and he reported back that the pads still had 50% of life remaining. I appreciated Doug's attention to detail.

My wife and I spent about 6 months searching for the vehicle at the right price. We spent so much time looking for a vehicle in northern AZ and the Phoenix, AZ areas. no luck. We decided to give it time and stop looking. We had so many bad experiences with dealerships that seemed to want to squeeze every penny possible out of us. Not with Newby GMC. I looked at their website which was super easy to navigate and I saw a vehicle that looked nice. I showed it to the Mrs. and she liked it too. So we said lets try one more time. I reached out and I spoke with Andrew Crane. I expressed a small amount of interest in the new 2024 GMC Yukon. I also expressed my concerns. Without missing a step Andrew explained his and the dealerships willingnes to be transparent in all their dealings with customers and assured me that I could trust him and Newby GMC. He was was right !!!! Every step was explained, the price, the money down, how the numbers worked. Everything ! Andrew Crane earned my trust and so did Mr. Travis who's last name escapes me right now. But I greatly appreciate their help. Not only that but what they did and how they did it to earn my family's trust. From me and my family we can say WE TRUST NEWBY GMC located in St. George, Utah. I won't shop anywhere else because I know I can trust them and I wont have to make a deal wondering if I'm getting worked over.

p.s. I wouldn't buy anything from OXENDALE GMC in Flagstaff, AZ. no transparency. no explanation. no help in understanding the why. just "your payment is high because it's high"

Our experience with Newbys is the best one I've had with any dealership I've ever been to. My wife and I were in the market for a bigger vehicle for our family. We don't like going to dealers usually, because we always come away feeling sullied and unusual, so we have normally bought from private individuals. We went to Newby gmc to look at some used suv's. We were helped by Rylee and she was amazing! She was genuinely helpful and friendly! Probably the least salesmany salesperson I have ever dealt with and I mean that in the best possible way. She was just straight forward and informative about the different vehicles and didn't push us to any one vehicle just helped us decide what was best for us. She got us in an amazing 2021 Yukon Denali that we loved! We let her know our budget and her manager Kevin really worked with us to get the price down and in our budget. Travis and Troy in their finance department were great to. I especially feel like Troy really did a great job for us. I never thought we would be able to get such a nice newer vehicle but Rylee and everyone at Newby made it happen for us! Thank you!

Troy Crawford saved the day by searching for us and calling to check on a suspicious identity a customer presented who claimed to be my wife. After a lot of work, he located us in Atlanta and confirmed it was an attempted identity theft. He had the police come when the buyer returned for the car and prevented a real headache for my wife. His intuition and persistence to find the truth are highly commendable. Kudos!
