Super 8 by Wyndham Redding

I stayed here for one night just so I can get rest after driving for so far. They thankfully had a room for me and my dog. Angela was very kind to me and a very sweet lady. The beds were SUPER comfy and I loved sleeping. The breakfast was just banana, yogurt, oatmeal, or granola bar so I didn't eat there. They also have a pool but I didn't swim there. Super fair price for the location. Great Mexican food right across the street! Felt very safe.

Surprisingly great! The most friendly front desk I have experienced in a long time. Thank you for giving us a great feeling of being welcome and valued. This proved that you don't need a five star hotel for a great stay. Rooms were also big and clean. Your perfect place and location for trips to Lassen National Park. Would love to come back.

After enduring a tiring 6-hour journey, I arrived at the hotel feeling completely exhausted. However, the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted by the most kind-hearted, cheerful, and beautiful person named Liz. Her warm welcome instantly lifted my spirits, and she graciously allowed me to check in early at 6 am.

The hotel itself was impeccably clean, and the level of service I received was truly deserving of 5 stars. The room I booked was meant for two people, and as a member, I was able to secure a weekend rate of just $135. Initially, I was a bit apprehensive after reading some reviews about the room, but my worries quickly dissipated upon entering. The room was spotless, and the bathroom was maintained to an impeccable standard. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep.

I must admit that the overall experience surpassed my expectations, and I am already looking forward to my next visit. The hotel's attention to cleanliness, the friendly and helpful staff, and the level of comfort provided in the room made my stay truly memorable.

Staff here is excellent, especially if you have to book a room and you're currently registered. As someone who lives in shingletown, it's only $200 deposit to get a room and you have to understand all the motel side on a risk which I do from completely different backgrounds. I hate going over to the ATM and getting the money, but they're an excellent place for me to use the internet and complete my contracts. Otherwise, Susan and the rest are amazing 😍 love the care and caring you get from this simple hotel but they make you feel home and as someone who's a regular here you would love to enjoy

Overall good stay!! Pet friendly, thank you again so much!!! Staff is friendly, room was clean. Location is great you can grab in n out, panda, Starbucks all right across the street. Only stayed 1 night and had no issues. Would recommend.

The room was fine but the beds were old and noisy.

Nice and clean and quiet. Eafly check in. Pool looked inviting but was closed; however the indoor hot tub was nice. 24 hrs coffee. Lots of places to eat walking distance though ghd nearest pub is 2.5 miles away.

I give it 5 stars because I had no problems. Everything was great. Clean, neat, Friendly staff, comfortable clean rooms. No noise. Quiet and serene. I walked my dog around the grounds and felt very safe. Oh yeah,,,,PET FRIENDLY. SO THEREFORE 5 STARS!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Super 8 by Wyndham Redding. We travel with our dog (Chocolate Labrador) and needed a place that accepts dogs. We had several choices, some less expensive and some more expensive. We chose the middle-ground with this Super 8 and were very pleased with our selection. Upon arrival, we checked-in and noticed that the reception and lobby areas were very clean and tidy. Our room was very well appointed; hair dryer, shampoo/conditioner/soap, flat-screen TV, microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker, clock-radio, and iron. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. We had a king-sized bed which was comfortable. This property also has a pool (and hot tub), which is nice to have in Redding since it can get quite hot (they provide pool towels). The pool was well-maintained and there were plenty of chairs/tables/lounge chairs for guests; we met several other guests by the pool and had such a nice time poolside. Free daily breakfast; waffle maker (along with butter and syrup), fresh juice, coffee, yogurt, bread, toaster, jam, cereal, milk, and fresh fruit. This is a budget property, but don't let that deter you; it's clean, nice amenities, friendly staff, all at a great price. The management and staff were so nice to our dog. It reminded me of the places we stayed at when I was kid on family road-trips.We will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

Very conveniently located. Very reasonably priced. Simple and clean. Service was prompt and sufficient. They have a minimal but complementary breakfast.

Everything was clean and well taken care of. The highlight of our extended stay has been the AMAZING staff! Everyone has been so friendly, helpful, and accomidating. Any problem or request has been met promptly without irritation or acting like it is a burden which is the case at some other hotels. The staff members are professional, yet down to earth and have been a pleasure to interact with....we will definitely stay again!!!

For a Super 8 this is probably one of the nicest motels I've been to. This place is outfitted with very modern decor, hardwood floors, and amazing cleanliness. Amenities are great as well, the continental breakfast is decent, the WiFi is very fast. Not really much to complain about this place. I would definitely stay here again next time I come up on business.

The hotel has gotten a face lift! Everything in my room is new. I don't know what it was like before, but I like what I see. The rate is good and the parking lot is well lit, which is important to me. I didn't swim in the pool but it looked clean. Fresh fruit available with breakfast was a great touch.

Size doesn't matter.
This motel is better than a 4 stars hotel in the middle of Los Angeles.

The room had a mini fridge, microwave, a large TV screen, Ice bucket which all these were missing from the Crown Plaza hotel in Los Angeles.
And it is near In & out Burger :)

For Super 8, this is one of the better ones that I stayed at. It seems like they've remodeled the inside. The staff was friendly. There is an indoor Spa and an outdoor pool. Those don't have much of a view, but that's not usually what you're going for when you stay at that type of hotel. The room was very clean and I actually found that I liked not having carpet in the room so it was a win-win for me. A lot cheaper than other places in town. I will say the outside of the building does not look like the picture I found when I Googled it- I forgot to take a picture of the outside of the building and I apologize. I know I wasn't sure if I was in the right place because it didn't look like the picture featured on TripAdvisor and other places on the web.

Great customer service!!! I haven’t stayed there just yet but I spoke a couple times on the phone with a gentleman named Thomas. He was very nice and cared about helping me! It wasn’t a fake customer service voice either. He was just himself and genuinely cared about making folks feel welcomed. I have my room booked and am excited to stay there if all the employees there are as genuine and nice as he was.

The staff was super friendly. Our room was clean and bright. Great size rooms. We had our dogs with us and they were really accommodating. Great hotel. Free wifi, free breakfast, hot tub and pool. Great stay.

Comfy stopover and a place I would definitely consider staying multiple days in a row. Mini fridge, microwave, and TV in-room. Personal A/C, with access to set your own temperature. The only complaint I have is the matress was harder than I prefer, and the towels were a bit small. Petty things to pick on away from home! The breakfast was simple but nice (fresh waffles!). I didn't get to swim at all, since I was only here a single night.
Check in time is 2pm, check out 11am.
