Always happy with my haircuts here. Don't tell anyone, but Dani is the best. She's booked out at least a few weeks, because she's worth the wait. Go over to booksy and find a spot on her calendar, you won't regret it. Everyone in this studio is friendly, it's always clean and just a great experience.

Got my hair done here not to long ago, the environment is lovely and the people working there are so nice. I got my haircut by a girl named Shay, and she did a wonderful job. I have thick curly hair and it's always been hard to find a place where it could be done right, so I'll definitely be coming back. I highly recommend this place!

I have been seeing Lisa well over 6+ years, minus the 2 years we were gone and even then I would schedule my appointment in conjunction with our visits here. We were able to relocate back to Redding and I am still so very happy with the service, she is especially good with fine, thin hair, excellent cuts!!! Just love her great positive attitude and winning heart!!!

A friend recommended this place and it had good reviews so I decided to try it out. I was able to get in pretty quickly with Lacey. When she shampooed my hair it was divine. She gave a really good scalp massage. For the cut I was feeling a bit ambivalent and she didn't get much direction from me, despite that the cut is absolutely perfect and I will definitely be returning.
As for the person who mentioned the lighting trick that supposedly made her hair look better, it's not a fancy light. I walked past it in the lobby. It's a ring light. I have one for my phone. Nothing special about it.

Modern Muse is hands down the best salon in town. It is absolutely stunning on the inside and everyone is so friendly, and on top of that, they offer complimentary drinks🙂 Lisa is the one who takes care of my hair and always does a spectacular job, my hair always turns out exactly how I imagined it! Highly recommend Modern Muse, and Lisa, to anyone!

I moved to Redding in June and after a botched hair color and cut I found Kerryan Barnes when I took my sister to get her hair cut. She fixed my hair. Both color and cut was absolutely amazing. I have not had a better hair cut in years, and she is simply amazing with color. My sister and I've been back several times now and she is always spot on. I highly recommend Kerry to everyone. She did my sister's hair for homecoming and it was the coolest ever. Kerry has a great personality and is so nice. I won't be going to anyone else from now on. I can't say enough about how great she is.

I am new to Redding since August of this year. Not knowing hair stylists in Redding I took a chance and picked one. When I did I made a huge mistake in going to this other place not Modern Muse Salon. Without mentioning the salon I went to they did a horrible job on my hair. So, off to check out another salon. I came across Modern Muse Salon and looked at their ratings on google to my surprise they were rated a five star. I called the salon and talked to Kerryan she was very understanding of my situation that she promised me a great look and that she would take care me. I went in today to get my hair done and she did an amazing job very detailed hairstylist with telling you everything she was going to do. She fixed the mess I was in and even did a different color on me and it looks amazing. I have gotten so many comments already on how nice it looks. Thank you Modern Muse Salon

Modern Muse delivers a wonderful salon experience with proffessional service. I had Lisa and she wonderfully and insightfully helped me process what my hair needed and what the outcome would be. She does a marvelous job! I would highly recommend.
