We are writing to extend our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for the service we received at Dave and Matt's Vans. The support they provided went above and beyond, and we are truly grateful for the assistance we received.

Although we understand that the mechanical error in the new van's engine was not directly their responsibility, They took the time to empathize with our situation and provided help in getting us back on the road. The evident pride in their work is evident, and we feel fortunate to have benefited from their expertise. Dave and Matt’s Vans, attention to detail and commitment to delivering top-notch craftsmanship are truly commendable, and we couldn't be happier with the results.

However, we must take a moment to give a special shout-out to Bria, whose efforts have left a lasting impression on us. Bria's customer service skills, and dedication was exemplary. She was patience in addressing all our questions and made us feel valued as customers. We are genuinely grateful for the effort she put into making our van as good as new.

Moreover, we are delighted to express just how much we adore our van now. Our van has become an integral part of our lives, and we eagerly anticipate creating many more memories with it. It's been almost 6 months since we purchased our DM van and I thought it was time to express my heartfelt gratitude and praise.

From day 1 of inquiring about their vans, to the buying process, and support after purchasing -their service has been A+ and beyond.

My wife and I live full time in our LV7 at over 8,000 feet in the Rockies and our so comfortable and happy about our decision. The van is incredible. The details, the components, craftsmanship, etc. Are all top notch.

We couldn't be happier with our new Dave & Matt's Van. The style was exactly what we were looking for, and the "look" of the Dave and Matt's van fits with the concept of having a basic but good looking van.
-Ted took us through the sales process, finding out what we were looking for and how their options fit that. He gave great advice as well as his own experience to validate his suggestions. We were 100% happy with all the choices we made.
-The process of picking up the van was also top notch - between the paperwork process and van "tour", we were led through the process and understood the various van systems. The documentation is good as well.
- It was easy to pick up - they are right near the Vail/Eagle airport. We drove around Colorado for a few days and then pointed east to head back to Vermont.
-Our friends who converted their own van were amazed by the price - we got exactly what we wanted without the hassle of figuring it out ourselves (Dave & Matt had already gone through that trial & error process!). I've been happy to work on outfitting the little details to make the van ours.
I highly recommend Dave & Matts - if you do do trip with your bicycles and like this no frills style, you've come to the right place!

Last week while on the road, we required assistance with our inverter which displayed an error code (E6), which meant we could not use our kettle to heat water for early morning coffee. We called DM Vans and left a voice message. Within 15 min, Ally called us back and helped us fix the problem. My wife and I were incredibly impressed with her responsiveness and technical help. She had us up and running in no time. A BIG SHOUT OUT to ALLY.

We had an absolutely wonder experience with Dave & Matt Vans from our first email to New Van Day. The people at Dave & Matt were great to work with and answered all our questions and addressed all our concerns.

As we drove back to the east coast from Colorado, we experienced had winds, ice and all sorts of fun. The van handled great and we stayed warm no matter the weather. Lastly, the heater works so much better than I ever expected. Our first night in the van was in Kansas where it was -1 with a wind chill of 25 to 30 below zero. We stayed warm and cozy all night.

We finished up a LV5 2022 rental from DM and it was unbelievable.
The LV5 for two humans and one 30 pound dog section hiking and working on the Appalachian Trail and Atlantic Canada had plenty of room (for a van of course).
We lived in it for 4.5 months and would do it again. The battery systems are second to none, the team was responsive and helpful the few times we had questions, and overall we loved our rental experience with them!

Dave and Matt is true to their motto of "Everything you need and nothing you don't." Excellent quality, price, and build time. I researched custom campervan builds pretty thoroughly and chose Dave and Matt, hands down- and I don't regret it. Our baby, Cherry Bliss, a Ram Promaster 1500 136 WB has a sink, Lagun table with extra attachment at the sliding door, extendable faucet to use with our heated collapsible indoor shower (drain built into floor with removable cover) or to shower outside the big kitchenette window with sliding screen, big window with sliding screen in slider door, 2 rear windows, nearly queen size platform bed above an open garage big enough to hold bikes, storage, and all the other gear you may need, composing toilet with built in fan (toilet concealed in box with padded seat cover), 2 swivel seats in cab, 1 solar panel with inside LCD screen that connects to the Renogy app, 2000 watt inverter, 2 max air vents with remote, Webasto heater with wall control by bed, 4 USB ports by the bed, dimming canister lights, Isotherm refrigerator with freezer with adjustable shelves and adjustable dividers in door, 2 big cabinets over the bed and 2 more above the kitchenette window, 5 drawers (3 sizes) in kitchenette with wooden counter on either side of the sink (we bought 2 single burner Duxtop induction stoves that are stored in the big kitchenette drawer with our electric tea kettle and pots and pans- definitely the way to go- best stove I've ever had, and beautiful beetlekill pine walls with simulated wood waterproof floor. This van has absolutely everything you need to live in for any length of time, and it's small enough to fit in a regular parking space or our driveway in an urban area (length of a short bed truck). We were able to go over all the details via phone and email, and then when we picked it up, Nick spent more than 3 hours going over everything and answering all our questions- then filled up our water, gave us some cool Dave and Matt swag, let us pick out the beer or other drink of our choice to bless our refrigerator, and took our picture. I highly recommend Dave and Matt for price, quality, beauty, comfort, liveability, customer service, and build time. I spent several months researching camper van options, looking for a build that was simple and affordable yet offered convenient features. Dave and Matt Vans seemed to fit the bill. Their web site and videos were extremely informative and the connection to source the van made the whole transaction easy from a distance. I do recommend spending a day or two in the area before driving home if one does not live close by to work through one's initial questions.
Customer service was excellent before the purchase, during pick-up and support since when I have had questions. I have now traveled and spent many nights in my new van and have come to appreciate the convenience of the well-thought out design and the choice of components like the fridge, vents and electrical system.

What a great experience! Steve was friendly, professional & helped us get familiar with our rental of the 159 Promaster when we arrived for pickup. The van was beautiful! Well laid out & everything we were looking for. We took it to Moab for the weekend in May 2021. Everything was perfect! In fact we are renting from them again in October 2021, a Promaster 136 to see what we like best for a possible future purchase.

My experience was absolutely wonderful. I have had the van 11 days and camped 5 of them. It was all I hoped it would be and more. Me and my 4 month old pup are really enjoying it. The trip to get it was an adventure too. I flew From Baltimore Maryland to Denver. Drove west in some heavy snow and then picked it up the next day. Took 6 days to drive back to Baltimore and had a blast. Thanks so much for an outstanding camper van and being so great to work with.

We love our Dodge Promaster Camper van built by Dave & Matt. Excellent service throughout the process, answering questions and keeping us in the loop. It's a big purchase and the integrity of the work and quality of the build met our expectations. And...we've been on the road having a blast almost nonstop since picking up the completed van. Dave and Matt are a couple of friendly like-minded fellas building functional and incredible vans. When my wife found them via Craigslist we couldn't believe we could get a nice simple van conversion at that price! Solar, 2 ceiling fans, refrigerator, kitchenette, queen bed, swivel chairs, floors, insulation, beetlekill interior, trailer hitch, seating for 4, LET'S GOOOOOO

We have been looking into buying a camper van for a while but we decided to rent one first - and are so glad we did! Renting with Dave & Matt Vans means you get to try out the same van build you’ll be buying!

We highly recommend that you “try before you buy” by renting for a weekend adventure! The rental process allowed us to start to get to know Matt, learn about their company and the van layout and options. During the weekend rental, we were able to make some design decisions for our own van and we are much more comfortable about making this big purchase.

Even if you’re not ready to buy a van, I recommend a rental to mix up your usual camping routine. It was so nice to have a comfortable bed and adventure vehicle all in one!! We loved having running sink water, electricity and even heat (for cold CO nights) in the van. Also, great way to safely travel during COVID-19, we brought everything with us and were fully off-grid for the weekend. We only stopped to refill gas once before returning the van.

Now that we have transitioned to building out our own van, I’m so glad we’re working with Dave & Matt Vans. They have already made a lot of the tough decisions for us like layout, plumbing and electrical. But, allow us to customize it with add-ons to fit our needs. We’re on the build schedule for August and it’s amazing it will only take 2 weeks for them to build our van!

We can’t wait to the chase fall foliage at high altitude in our new van - I can already picture opening up the back doors to lay and look at the colorful Aspens!

Dave and Matt Vans deliver an incredible product that is clearly designed with functionality and user friendliness in mind. The finishes aren't mass produced and stale; they exude quality and craftsmanship. I've used RVs and various other vehicles for camping throughout my life and I really think my LV59X from DM Vans is the ideal vehicle for camping and full time living. We have 1400 miles on Stan the Van now with trips to Steamboat Springs and Crested Butte under our belts, always returning to Denver for work and urban dwelling which is another adventure unto itself.
The only improvement to the experience I could suggest making is a bit far reaching, but an online configurator that models the layout of options as I added them to the van would have helped me to understand what I was purchasing more confidently than the truly helpful and many conversations I had with the team of fine people who worked with me along the way at Dave and Matt Vans.

We picked up our 2021 Ram Promaster 159 from Dave & Matt Vans and drove it from CO to CA. We stopped at 3 National Parks, and had an amazing time. Dave & Matt Vans gives you more for your money, and they do quality work. We love our new CamperVan, have been getting compliments everywhere we go, and can't wait to get back on the road.

Dave, Matt, and the team build out a 136" WB ProMaster for me in January 2020. Ordered the van new, had it delivered to a dealer in Denver directly from Ram, they picked it up and built it out in 3-weeks. Such an easy process. I did 5 years of research before I went with them (seriously, I'd watch youtube van conversion videos every day) and I couldn't have made a better choice. It is beautiful, simple, and functional. The value for the price is absolutely unmatched by other companies out there and I am so glad I didn't try and convert a van myself. People routinely think my buildout cost twice as much as I paid for it and I although I don't plan on selling my van, I'm pretty sure I could sell it for more than it cost me.

Give them a call and talk through your needs, they're great people and even if you don't buy a van from them, I'm sure they'll share some great insights.

About me: I live out of my van about 80% of the year chasing mountain biking weather/locations. I work remotely for a tech company so I just need an internet connection for my job. I had them add a bit to the base electrical setup as I wanted to run my espresso machine, cook on an induction cooktop, run an external monitor & laptop most of the day, etc so I have 2 solar panels, a 170 Ah lithium ion battery, and 3000W inverter and can always charge via the engine if needed. Got the bed lofted a bit higher than stock as I have XL bikes and wanted to fit them under on a slide-out tray. Also got a 2nd fan and cabinets above the sink area (definitely get the above-sink cabinets)

We did a 2 night rental and it was amazing. We had a great experience organizing the trip with Dave and Matt Vans and they were always there for all of our questions (we're novice camper van people). Once we got there, they greeted us with amazing hospitality and walked us through the van to make sure we understood how it worked to make our experience as enjoyable as possible. I left the pick up location with the confidence that we were set up for success!

And the actual van was nothing short of amazing. D&M Vans literally thought of everything. We're already thinking of our next rental trip with the Dave & Matt Vans. Thanks again for all the help and excellent service!

We love our Dave and Matt van. We had a great buying experience. When you get to pick it up they spend time going over everything with you so you know how it all works. I've been enjoying the van for about 2 weeks now. The build quality is impeccable and the attention to detail is apparent. I'm very glad I placed my trust in Dave & Matt as I stepped into this new chapter of my life.

I purchased my own Promaster, then dropped it off at their shop for the conversion. Matt kept in touch with me throughout the whole process, from first contact to final hand-off. I appreciated the transparency and willingness to thoroughly answer any of my questions. They took the time to understand my story and intended use, and tailored the build to suit my specific needs.

Roman, one of the lead builders, was there when I dropped off my pre-build van. He took the time to show me another van they had just completed, and walked me through all the different options and features I could choose from. I was on the fence about getting the built-in heating system. But through Roman's advice and further research, I'm already so pleased I went with it. I can tell it will be totally worth the extra cost, especially once winter finally hits.

When I returned to pick up my van, I chatted with Dave for over an hour. Going over the details of my build, but also discussing the benefits and challenges of this alternative lifestyle. It was great to learn from their firsthand experience.

I highly recommend going with Dave & Matt, and I look forward to watching their business grow in the future.

10/26/20 Edit: My one year vanniversary! The van has enabled me to do so many fun things in the past year. I've been surfing, climbing, and road tripping. Even when Covid hit, I was able to safely drive myself and a handful of close friends to a quarantine location outside of NYC during the crazier months. I felt very fortunate that I wasn't tied down by an apartment. Many of my friends were still paying NYC rent while not even living in their apartments for months at a time. That's just one example of the kind of freedom that van life can provide. I'm back in the city now that things have calmed down a bit. As long as it's safe, I look forward to socially distanced surfing and snowboarding trips throughout another NYC winter.

We Love Dave and Matt vans! We rented one of their vans for entire month and did a road trip from the midwest to the west cost and back. Im not high maintenance but im definitely dont like rough-ing it in tents. Renting and NOW OWNING a van has been that perfect middle for our adventures. Whenever we have a question when we are out adventuring, Matt and Dave are always available to get back to us. It has been so much fun and brought my husband and I together on something I never really enjoyed before. THANKS GUYS!
