Nice park to relax listening to the sound of flowing water, watching ducks, while being safe on a clean surface.

We arrived at Schneider Park. Was clean,picnic table we had lunch on.took a stroll, walked over bridge and down wash.enjoyed ourselves. 👍

Clean and family friendly. Right on the river path also. Beautiful views and awesome space.

Public park + skate park in beautiful Durango. This park is situated right next to the river and is adjacent to the Gardenswartz (9th street) bridge. Easy access to river trail and walking distance from downtown. No playground equipment.

Of all the Durango parks, this one has the highest amount of homeless/transient people, most likely due to the proximity to both Hilltop corrections house and Manna Soup kitchen. That being said, I would still consider the park a safe place when combined with appropriate parental supervision.

Man this place is awsome I would recommend it to any one looking to get out and have a family get together. Very nice park with lots of things to do from skate boarding to bbq. And fishing really awsome with a great view

I loved how well maintained and easy it was the access the river. Excellent place to just go on a walk.

Lovely spot to take a break. Walked the dogs near the river. Watch out for fast bicycles though.

Well maintained park on the river with extensive walking paths that connect to other parks. Dogs loved it.
