Saloon of Mt. Lebanon

First off, I was greeted by Tony, the bartender very nice guy . The food was done to my specific request. Filet bites seemed a bit high priced until I saw it was a whole steak. The wings were perfect, and the hot-garlic sauce was very good. Fries were standard, but I'm used to fresh cut.
Parking, traffic and drivers in Mt. Leb is terrible and rude.

We were staying at the hotel across the street and popped in for a drink and a bite. The Saloon is exactly what you expect--the epitome of the local neighborhood watering hole. They have a large selection of local beers on tap and a pretty standard selection of burgers, sandwiches, salads, and appetizers. I got a mushroom and Swiss burger cooked medium rare and it was great, cooked exactly as ordered and it hit the spot.

I started with a whiskey cocktail. I didn't have high expectations but I was very pleasantly surprised that the Paper Plane was balanced and something is definitely order again.

The atmosphere is very relaxed and I like that the entire front of the restaurant is open to the outside. Lots of big TV's to catch whatever sports ball game happens to be on, and we found it pretty easy to strike up a conversation with the people around us. I won't hesitate to go back if I'm in the area again.

Staff, food, and vibe is amazing. I’ve been going here for about 6+ months and the bartenders always greet my girlfriend and I warmly (we’re the 1 yuingling draft and bottle couple!). Doesn’t matter if it’s been a few days, months, or years, the staff at Saloon will always welcome you with a pint and open arms!

Wings are amazing here. First time eat here also. I walked into the Saloon and went to the bar to order food to go. John waited on me and greeted me right away!!!! Points for that!!!!! He was just very nice and took my order quickly. John thank you for making my first experience there a good one. If you are looking for a great wings spot please try this place out. Oh and fried pickles are my favorite anywhere I go.

Literally came here every night while staying at the SpringHill across the street on an extended weekend trip. Loved the classic pub aesthetic. Fantastic drink selection; reasonably priced. Food items we had were all above average for bar fare. Burgers were generously sized, and cooked to order. Could’ve used a touch more seasoning, but nothing a little salt and pepper couldn’t fix. Pretty tame during the day, but gets quite lively at night. Would definitely return.

Met up with old friends two nights in a row here. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the location couldn't have been better staying in Springhill Suites Marriott! A quick walk across the street. The only drawback was that there were only 2 servers and we were "a needy crowd"! Other than that, I highly recommend this establishment for casual outings!

The bar is wildly packed, but the table service is always incredible.

Great watering hole. Our family was staying at a hotel for several nights straight, and we ended up at The Saloon every night in some different variation of family members each month.

Everyone seemed to enjoy the mixed drinks, and I particularly enjoyed the wings. The service was great and we felt very welcome.

We will definitely check this bar out again whenever we're back in town and we suggest you do the same if your in the Mt. Lebanon area!

The steak salad was good. Pick up time took way to long for 2 salads with medium done steaks. The place seems dusty & could use a bath badly.

Always a great time at the Saloon! The deck has so many upgrades and with a view that it's hard not to pass up. The service, management, and great ownership makes this establishment a staple in the community.

We went in the early evening on a nice day, so we sat on the roof porch area. The atmosphere was great and so was the service. Quick and friendly servers and bartenders.

My husband and I had dinner here yesterday and had such great service! Our server was extremely friendly and attentive. We got the bacon burger and the blue burger, both were the best burgers we have had in years - juicy with lots of flavor. They have slushee drinks, we got the peach flavored one to go, it was really good. We will definitely be back again soon!

Great food and service. All employees wore masks and the tables were generously spaced out. We ordered the wings, Italian hoagie, and chicken parm. All were delicious. The roof top seating (adults only) is awesome for the spring. Our server remembered our drink orders and was very attentive. The kids played board games that are available for use while there. Watched hockey, played games, and had great food and drinks. 10/10 would go again.

I tried the Pittsburgh salad with buffalo chicken and ranch and I loved it. Waffle fries were really good. Our waitress did a great job. Service was really fast. This is a great place to have a drink and watch sports too. Plenty of seating available. Place was clean. Check them out if you're hovering around mount Lebanon.

Great food! Ordered curbside and food was ready quickly and on time. Was very happy with our cheeseburgers, salad and salmon. They have mini cheeseburgers that are perfect for kids..4 burgers per order. Not greasy..just very good. Will do this again!

Great burgers and wings! I've visited 3 times. They are consistent and the employees are so nice!

Update: I still like this place, but the mild wings have not been the same. The sauce is not the same. I like the old sauce better.

Also, the owner is great!

A typical dark atmosphere sports bar, where its difficult to be out of line of site to a TV. I was here in a group with children which I had concerns about from the window shopper's view of the place. I want to hand it to them that they handled this well. We were able to get a regular (non bar height) table away from the bar proper. They provided popcorn for free as an appetizer. They really hit the spot for a big juicy burger. Will definitely be back.
