Great shop with an extremely knowledgeable and helpful owner. A real well stocked local drum shop in a world full of corporate music stores. Strongly recommend.

Billy goes above and beyond the needs of the customer to make sure you get what you're looking for.

He helped me follow up about some weather delayed drums far beyond what was expected and ended up having to call Gretsch through Hal Leonard to swap out for a different drumset that could get shipped out ASAP and turned out he has some connections at the top!

Not only did I get a beautiful 7 piece Gretsch Catalina Maple set, but he even helped get the drums built, tuned and was able to help me move them over to my house because my car isn't working at the moment!

Awesome drum shop, amazing selection, and really great, kind, chill and knowledgeable owner. Loved stopping in here on a car trip through Colorado. Only wish that we were locals so this could be our neighborhood go-to drum store.

What a gem of a place and an owner. We stopped in while traveling because my husband always loves visiting a drum shop and is looking to upgrade his kit. Billy was phenomenal! Showing his personal collection, so knowledgeable and personable - we spent a good amount of time there and I know my husband would have loved to spend the whole day! We only lament that we couldn’t return before heading out of town.

What a great experience it was today for me at the Boulder Drum Shop. Billy, the owner, helped me last week first discover the perfect set of hi hats I needed, then ordered them and got a hold of me soon thereafter once they arrived. He also took the time today as I picked up my hats, to take a look at my snare drum, tune it and educate me on its history. He is always friendly, and professional whenever I've been there. And his command of Drum knowledge is amazing. Colorado drummers need not go elsewhere, Billy at The Drum Shop will take good care of you!

Billy was very helpful, helping me to figure out how to hang the chimes my husband bought me for Christmas. He even helped me configure the cymbal stand I ended up buying so that it would accommodate two sets of chimes for my sound healing business.

Billy is just the nicest guy. He’s a drummer, so he knows his stuff. I consigned three of my hand drums over a year ago. He sold them all for me. At least one of the buyers lost his house in the fire and wanted to replace a drum they lost. Billy called me to ask if I’d discount the price for him, which of course, I did. My husband may want a new ride cymbal soon, and we will definitely go see Billy.

Very good experience at the Boulder Drum Shop. The employee (might have been the owner) was very friendly in helping us find what we were looking for. We are just starting out with playing the drums and he walked us through what we should be looking for in our purchase. He informed us about other customer options about products and helped us pick out the right fit. Very helpful and friendly.
