Our dog, Cassie 10 y/o, was diagnosed with bladder cancer at the ER on 10/14. I left an email to see if I could take the first appointment available and they called when they opened on Tuesday and got me in at 11am. Dr. Tim printed out a 7+ page study and went over the whole thing with me and answered a good 100 questions I had. He ultra sounded her himself even though it had just been done at the ER to get a better idea himself of what we were working with and did not charge me to do so. He found another mass on her spleen in which the ER had not noticed. When I first took her in the soonest surgery date available was 11/29 but considering potential consequences of leaving either of tumors in any longer, the team at Foothills Animal Hospital made accommodations to mover her surgery up. It is now 11/7, 3 weeks after we got the terrible news our baby girl had cancer and she is not only pretty much healed she is a brand new dog!!! She ran for the first time in probably 2 years the other day, she has so much pep in her step, and she is alert and happy. Dr. Tim is an absolute wizard!

Dr Tim and everyone take such good care of our two dogs. Jeff is very dangerous with his fear based aggression and they can vet him! Dr Tim calls Xochitl a love bug and treats both dogs with skill and affection. He offers choices in treatment and lets us make decisions with his expert advice. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. We followed Dr Tim here from his previous job and are so glad he’s got his own practice. Go, team Tim!

Office staff very friendly and the veterinary was interested in my dog and his problem, She called me the following day with the results of his lab work and plans for future care. She did not appear rushed and took the time to listen to my concerns. This was my first visit, and I feel reassured about taking my pets to her for their care.

I have been here a few times for different reasons. The staff is polite and courteous. My request was solved every time. My cats are in good health. This is the place I will continue to use.

Great experience with a very scared pup. Actually still amazed they were able to get done what was needed bc my dog becomes very aggressive and sometimes exposes himself, leading us to have to leave with no treatment. Bax had a successful check up and teeth cleaning.

I have taken my 2 cats here for going on almost 4 years...... I 100% love this place they done everything they could too help all my kitty's and I am massively happy about it

I just took my dog Loki for her annual visit. I drive all the way from Aurora and it is well worth it. Every time I take her, I am even more grateful that I have such a great vet. Loki is a Great Dane who is terrified of vets and refuses to go through strange doors. They helped me get her in and we got everything done. They even got down on the floor with her. They made a stressful visit not so bad and they really care! I would highly recommend them!!!!

Have been going to this vet office on & off for about four years. They offer honest & loving care. Also they provide a 3 year rabies vaccine that is necessary with my naught bite prone dogo! Yay 😀 all staff & vets rock! Also string cheese family! Local colorado love!

The exceptional skills, knowledge and caring of Dr. Catie and Emma helped my cat through an exam and blood draw. I trust them completely and have been coming here since 2013.

My best friend Walther has been a patient for 6 years now. Always a great experience for regular checkups, vaccinations and a couple times for injuries once being for a bite from another dog. I always get pertanant and accurate information on how to care for him after. Recenently Walther fractured a tooth from an overly hard chew toy so it had to be removed. I was provided with a detailed and accurate estimate. For the procedure I felt comfortable leaving him in their care. Walther just loved Dr Liehr and we will miss him though hope he is enjoying his retirement. Have no fear Dr Tim is awesome as is all of the staff. Walther is always excited to see them. You can't go wrong at Foothills Animal Hospital.

When we moved to CO last year I was worried about finding a good vet for our very anxious dog. The vets and assistants at Foothills have been so kind and patient with our dog, and I can tell they truly care about the animals they work with. I especially love that they never push for unnecessary testing or exams, and always provide realistic/helpful advice when we need it.

I (temporarily) switched vets when I moved from Lakewood to Denver due to convenience/proximity and was quoted between $1700 and $2500 for a dental extraction and mass removal on my dog from the Denver vet (5280 Vet Care). I went back to Foothills for a second opinion/quote and saved over $1000 on the same exact procedure cost (and they trimmed his nails for free), which ultimately cost just under $1000.

In addition to being transparent about procedure costs, the staff is friendly, gentle with my dog, communicative, and provided excellent care. Needless to say, Foothills Animal Hospital is where I will always go to for my dog's vet care moving forwards, even if it's a little bit of a drive.

This hospital is amazing! I had such a good experience there. Dr. Tim and Dr. Jeremy are so knowledgeable and their love for animals is so apparent in the work that they do. They are very thorough, yet explain everything in a way that makes sense why they choose the treatments they do. The technicians are all very kind and skilled in the work that they do, and reception is very kind and communicative as well. As a whole, this hospital was extremely impressive and professional in the work that they do, and I would not hesitate to trust them and know that each time I visit, it will be a wonderful experience and that my pets are taken care of to the best level. After 10 years with Foothills- we moved to Washington State- my golden required a procedure- we drove to Denver so she could be managed by Foothills! Love them!
