Horseshoe Black Hawk

Amazing time here. Great slots and table games. The restaurant and grill have great food. The rooms are comfortable and affordable. This is worth the money for the stay. Cigarettes are 20 dollars so buy before you arrive.

After booking a last-minute trip to Colorado, the Horseshoe Blackhawk was a great find in a beautiful area of mountains just an hour west of Denver. As a Caesars Rewards member I always an appreciate a comp and was treated well by the staff. The room was very clean and had plenty of space. There was a large shower and counter space in the bathroom. The casino isn’t massive, but had plenty of gaming to choose from. I can’t wait to return!

What a wonderful 4 night stay…comfortable bed and stylish room, Mountain Views and great location. A bonus is a Starbucks right here with a really friendly barista team :)

The hotel room was clean and pleasant.

I also wanted to say thank you to the management. We were scheduled to leave on December 26th but the blizzard on the plains made that dangerous. The management allowed us to stay two additional days when it was safe to drive home to Nebraska.

The Horseshoe casino was so much fun, food from Brew Brother's and Roxy's was amazing. The variety of options is great. The rooms are nice size and clean. The staff was very sweet and inviting. 10/10

I want to give a big shout out to the bartender tonight at the Horseshoe, Tara! She is absolutely amazing and out of all the bartenders here at this location, she is the best! Her qualities highlight the very best of customer service, friendliness, attentiveness, and everything else in between!!!! Will always be back just for her!

I really enjoyed this place. This being a Cesar company, they have veterans benefits here with a discount on food here. The casino was well laid out and was enjoyable. The table dealers are friendly and will assist with any questions. The Brewhouse was great. The service awesome and good tasty. The was a very enjoyable destination. Not too loud and comfortable to gamble in.

We walked a big loop during a peak holiday weekend around all the Blackhawk casinos and stayed the night at Horseshoe.

It seems like there has been a shift, and the young beautiful popular crowd has moved on from Ameristar to Horseshoe and Monarch.

If I could suggest an improvement- Horseshoe should consider moving the three slot machines in front of the bar and putting in a small wood surface dance floor. Their Latin dj behind the bar was banging, and people were craving a little slice of night club vibe.

My review of this property is limited to just the casino. My wife and I decided to make a quick stop here before heading back to Las Vegas because I've heard about this town years ago and never had the opportunity to stop by, until recently.

The location of this casino/town was nice, especially the drive from I-70 to the actual town; however, I wish that this town was closer to the highway. The facility itself was extraordinary; everything was kept nice and clean...even the bathrooms. The games in the casino were identical to the ones I'm used to in Vegas; majority of the popular games were actually in this casino. I was pleasantly surprised that this property was a Caesars Rewards property, which allowed me to use my player's card here.

We've already talked about the possibility of traveling back to this town to actually stay a few nights. Unfortunately, we ran out of time and didn't get to visit any other hotel/casinos in the area so I can't compare this property with the others. We did enjoy what we saw during our visit so we'd probably end up staying here if the cost is adequate. So for now, given what we've experienced, I still recommend this place to everyone.

Nothing but good things to say about our stay here. Hotel was extremely clean & the customer service was amazing. The rooms are a nice size & have the amenities that you need, to include a mini fridge. A microwave would have been nice, but I won't knock them for not having one. Bed was comfortable & we didn't have any issues during our stay. All the people that worked here were very professional, courtes, and nice. You can tell that they really enjoy their jobs. Thank you for making our first visit a great one, we will definitely come back.

This was a pleasant surprise!! We flew in for a concert at Redrock Amphitheatre and I was looking for a unique place to stay. This hotel was set in beautiful casino town cut out right into the mountains. Nice, clean, comfy beds and great selection of restraunts in this and surrounding casinos. Will definitely be back!! 😀👍

Nice casino! Beautiful layout and friendly staff. Options for food was pretty good! Games are fun and easy to do!

My wife and I stayed here two nights for the first time. The Blackhawk community is beautiful, neat, and full of amazing history! Overall clean and affordable room but the king bed could use another pillow, (there was only three for the two of us) and their ventilation needs some serious cleaning. The refrigerator, coffee pot, and working ice machine was appreciated. We felt safe and secure here, and enjoyed their clean and spacious casino, and especially appreciated the frequent complimentary beverages (unlike Ameristar). I would rate their slot machines to be fair to generous (unlike Ameristar which we will NOT be revisiting).

Thanks for a good time on our 30th anniversary Horseshoe Blackhawk,…we look forward to seeing you again in the future!

Stayed here for several nights while exploring the rockies and had a great stay.

The rooms and hotel in general are well kept, updated, comfortable and pet friendly. I would definitely recommend skipping the pet relief stations in the parking garage. It didn't seem like there was any sort of rinsing system for the astroturf. The staff was welcoming and friendly. It's very nice that they've kept the casement windows operational in the rooms. The cool mountain air at night while sleeping was very enjoyable. The rooms aren't as soundproof as a newer hotel would be but that wasn't much of a bother, personally.

They have valet and free self parking available. Two restaurants are in this specific building plus the other options at the surrounding casinos. Would definitely stay here again.

Beds were very hard with stiff sheets. Service was over the top excellent. World class. Spotless, clean hotel. The deli was absolute trash in taste, quality, and service. Eat locally! Machines were awesome, and the gaming area was clean and fresh. The area is beautiful. Will return again from Houston soon!

It's like stepping out of the mountains of Colorado and walking into Las Vegas. Great time. Friendly staff. Customers look tired and unhappy.

Stayed overnight with my girlfriend. The casino offered a wide variety of gaming. The room we stayed in was very clean and modern. Will definitely go back.

Nice casino! Pretty clean. There was no ice in the soda machine. So I didn't get a soda. They had coffee and creamer.

Room was nice. Air conditioning and heater was awful. Need to upgrade HVAC.
