Don Gilberto Mexican Food

New here in Montrose and was looking for a really good local Mexican restaurant, and man! Don Gilberto with the food quality hits the spot beyond expectation. Great super fry carne asada burrito!

Absolutely love this place and miss it now that I have moved outta state. I can't find another restaurant quite like this one. I would always get the super fries no pico with green sauce and the twelve rolled tacos and whereas I have found variations of those dishes none of them are anywhere as good as at don Gilbertos.

Great spot for fast food authentic mexican. I had the carnitas plate, and it was massive. Salsas are great, tortillas are fresh, horchata was bangin. 10/10.

We stop in here a lot before work. The veggie breakfast burritos and the horchata and the best! And the salsas are so good too!

I got the super burrito and this thing was massive. Probably over two pounds and it gave me a run for my money. Food was fantastic and the horchata is fire.

Small hometown kinda place with one of the best Carne Asada plus bacon burritos I have had.

This place makes a GREAT Carne Asada burrito! Awesome service, reasonable prices. Wife got a breakfast burrito that was really good too.

Was in town visiting the fam and our group of 8 or 10 all enjoyed their breakfasts. A few got the monster Montrose Burrito (pictured) and it did not disappoint. I got the steak and egg burrito, a cabeza taco, and a tripas taco. All were excellent and I even shared a few pieces of the tripas with some of my family who loved it! Great hot sauces and carrots, too!

ALWAYS stop here before we hit the road home to Farmington NM and get a steak burrito! It is the best! Big burrito and fills us up! The staff is all great!! Keep up the great work!! 👍👍

We love going here! Great food, great prices and wonderful people! Ensenada burritos and lengua tacos are my top favorites!

When we are in town for a visit we HAVE to stop and get the breakfast burritos from Don Gs, they are so delicious. My favorite is the veggie breakfast burrito with the green salsa. It’s a tradition for us!

Legit best super fries period. The wait isn't that long even when they're packed and the staff are great

Fish tacos were incredible! Fast service, good food. You can take it to go or sit in to eat.

April and her brother are the best when I go in there. They have so much laughter and makes my time in there so happy!!!

Here- it's all about the food! Everything I've ordered is delicious. The burritos are so big, you'll never finish them in one meal. Best enchiladas and tacos in Montrose

We love Don Gilberto's !! Food is always good, fresh and filling! When we are craving a good burrito this is our place. Our kids love it, the red and green sauces are amazing and they are very fast to get out orders. Normally when we get here for lunch there is a line but it moves very quickly. Service is always friendly, bilingual and amazing at making sure you get your order when it comes out of the kitchen. Glad to be supporting this family owned business.
