Staff who don't act like you're a nuisance for asking questions is always a welcomed experience. Friendly, and willing to take the time to get you the answers, even if they themselves don't know. Less concerned with pushing a more expensive product, and instead, their efforts are placed on getting you what you need.

Sam did an amazing job helping us out with an appliance package! Everyone else has been helpful and friendly as well.

Jina (Jenna) was extremely helpful with my rental. She gave her valued input on what she felt would help with the task at hand and it worked perfectly. She also worked with my time constraints. Her 7 years of experience made my life that much easier. Thanks so much, Jina!

Nice quick shopping trip and they had just what I needed.

Our cabin in Almont needed a replacement microwave. Gabby in the appliance department walked me through determining that one they had in stock would fit the space where the old one was installed with no changing of the built-in kit. She was super helpful and once we had the new microwave we were able to install with no problem. Cat at the service desk was also very helpful in getting the item paid for and picked up. Lovely employees.

This is your typical Home Depot store, however they seem to have a little bit more variety than others. I got turned around, as it was my first time there, and two different employees asked if I needed help. When I went to the checkout only self-service was available, however the young lady in charge, was very kind and helpful.

Got most of the things I needed to do some remodelling on my house! Windows especially!

The narrow aisles and crowds can make shopping here chaotic, but they're better organized and better stocked than many HD stores I've shopped at in cities much larger than Montrose. The online inventory and stock locations have been 100 accurate so far. Kudos and a 5, especially to the long-term staff!

Great customer service Jennifer in window coverings did a wonderful job cutting down our patio blinds. Very proficient. An another gentleman was also very knowledgeable in assisting my husband in the pipe fitting and irrigation section

Listen...I’m here between 5 and 12 times a week. I’ve been to many Home Depot’s and this is BY FAR the best one that I’ve ever shopped in. The workers are friendly and helpful...amazingly so. Not only do they greet me nicely, they actually call me by my name. They all seem to put in an extra effort to establish a relationship with you, even if it’s only going to be for two minutes while you’re passing through town. The Pro Desk is spectacular, as is the flooring department, and electrical...and this might sound odd but the cash register employees are wonderful. I’ve met personally with Brent who is the general manager of the branch. He is great as well. Overall they have earned these 5 stars.

Today was our lucky day. We went in for a great sale on Jen-Weld windows and Seth from that department was extremely helpful, going the extra mile to save us additional money and order a window not in stock. We had his attention through the entire process and we just want to say thank you!!

A go to for all my job needs! They have everything I need

My order was ready when I got to the store, and I was able to pick up a few things I had forgotten to add to my online order before getting there. Even though I have a smaller SUV, the young man who was helping me load the plywood and 2 by 4's into/onto my car was a great sport and very inventive with how we got the supplies secured so that I could drive home without them flying off. If I could have given him a $20 tip, I would have without hesitation.

I am building a 20x14 ft shed. Talked with Michelle at the Pro desk and she was great with advise and getting my order completed. Will ask for her everything. And delivery of all my order ($over $7,000) is delivered for $79.00. That would have taken me 6 trips from Delta to Montrose, Outstanding!

Slow and confused today. Was there 2 hours for doors we ordered and Home Depot even email us about picking up. It took them long time to find our order and then couldn't find if we paid. Just a rough day today for the staff. Always have been great maybe they need a vacation.LOL

This is a great Home Depot. The staff is super friendly and helpful, their ordering system is smooth and the employee knowledgeable, and they have everything I've gone there to look for or, in the few cases they've been out or don't carry something specific, they were more than happy to order it for me. Delivery from this location was fast and they put the items in my garage for me with a forklift they brought with on the delivery truck. I couldn't be happier unless they were to build a Home Depot closer to my house, which is about a half an hour drive away from this location.

Perry in millwork was incredibly helpful! Parts of my online order were cancelled due to items being out of stock. I was transferred from the Pro Desk to Perry and he was able to find all the missing items in stock! He saved the day for our site construction! Thank you Perry!

Aside from everything else going on with covid the store has everything a contractor or homeowner could ever need. During my resent busy today ( 9-16-20 ) I found they have installed LED lights over almost every shelf helping all of us to see not only what they have, but how much it is and the different brands. The nice thing I have always found ( At least at the Montrose branch ) is the store brand is not pushed over the other brands they carry. Over all 5 stars in my opinion and as far as customer service I am not sure due to the fact that I am an electricatin....

AMAZING SERVICE!!! STEVEN and James (Manager) were both absolutely great to me. Steven stepped away from what he was fixing by the customer service desk, then came and helped me. He first looked the item up to see if they had any left and they only had one!!! It was the display item so he had James come over to see if I could buy the item on display. Even though James was worried about more of the same item coming in and having to build the display again, he did what was best for the customer (ME) and allowed me to purchase the already assembled item. This was so incredibly important since I'm in town remodeling my deceased grandparents home for my mother. They truly saved me from having to come back from Denver again to install the vanity and brought some light into this very dark period I've been going through. Truly grateful for both of them for actually caring for their customers. Much love thank you guys!!!
