Produce department is amazing. A young man by the name of Jarred helped my wife and I find exactly what we were looking for and was very knowledgeable.

City Market South has earned its spot as my trusted go-to for groceries. Their cheese selection? Impressive, to say the least. Now, it's no secret they could use more hands at the checkout, and their card system doesn't always jive with my local bank, but the warm-hearted staff more than make up for any bumps.

As a regular click list user, I've come to rely on the pickup crew. They're dealing with some quirky decisions from up top, but they handle it with grace. Kudos to them.

One suggestion? Adding some electric vehicle chargers, especially near the pickup area, would be a big win. Imagine being able to use those "fuel points" while loading up the groceries. It's a simple improvement that could go a long way.

Stepping into City Market South feels like a breath of fresh air. It's clean, modern, and spacious. They've got a great selection of organic produce, nuts, and seeds tucked away in the back. Perfect for health-conscious shoppers. And the prices? They're fair and won't break the bank.

During my visit, the deli was a bit short-staffed, but Rusty, one of their dedicated employees, was hustling and provided exceptional service with a smile. That's what I call going the extra mile. It's a level of service that sets City Market South apart from the rest, including stores in larger cities like Denver.

In comparison to the North side City Market, this one's a clear winner. The newer, more modern layout of City Market South beats out the dated feel of the other location. While there are occasional aisle blockers, most shoppers are considerate.

While there have been some stock shortages in recent months, they typically offer a solid variety of common food categories. Their gluten-free selection has improved over the years, showing a commitment to meeting diverse dietary needs. Prices are reasonable, and even lean towards being budget-friendly.

The atmosphere at City Market South is undeniably pleasant. The positive energy is evident, and the staff exude warmth and hospitality. The floral department deserves a special mention for going above and beyond to help me get flowers to my mom for Mother's Day. It's acts like these that truly make a difference.

Whenever I'm in Montrose, this City Mart is a must-stop. It brings back memories of my favorite hometown grocery stores, and that's something I really appreciate. My service dog and I always feel welcome here.

This is a nice new City Market. Very clean and attractive interior. Big store with great selection. Lots of nuts and seeds in the back and organic produce. It's easy to shop for healthy food here and find good deals. The guys in the deli seemed to be understaffed at the moment I was there, but a guy named Rusty was in high gear and gave my grandmother and I excellent service with a smile. Nice! Much better than the stores in Denver.

Nice clean store! This store has a great floral department, super well stocked for Valentine's day.

We do click list pickup from here very often. Staff at the click list pickup are great, and try their best to compensate for the bad decisions that get made at CM corporate / IT about how to run the pickup program.

This place really should host some electric vehicle chargers, especially near the pickup corner of the building. Would be awesome to be able to use "fuel points" to get a few minutes of DC fast charging to get us home at the same time we are loading the pickup order!

I just want to say that the Floral dept (at this location) went above and beyond to help me get flowers to my mother for mother's day. When other locations in town didn't want to help me because I wasn't local or able to see there stock, they happily went out of there way to help me. I wish I could haven given a tip but I was asked to leave a review, so here it is. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HELPING ME. I wish nothing but the best of luck for helping and being a caring person.

Anytime I come to Montrose, Colorado I stop at this City Mart to refit my Jeep/RV. My service dog and I have always had pleasant experiences at this grocery store. It reminds me of some of my hometown favorite grocery stores, which I appreciate a lot when I stop in.

More organic choices. The displays are more like presentations. lots of choices on every isle. Very friendly staff. Has large deli counters and big selection on meats. We picked up some king crabs legs to celebrate

Karina was an enormous help to me! I appreciated her kind and positive attitude. Although everybody here is really quite good, I was exceedingly impressed with this young lady. She went above and beyond to ensure that I was able to find the product.

Great friendly service, we're from out of town and didn't have a value card, the nice man behind us in lane let us use his saved us $8. , I so appreciated that. We we're buying lunchables for my granddaughter, and a clerk showed us the 88 cent specials , got three for her, and granddaughter was happy!!!.
While in line was talking with curious clerk, and found out he has a birthday almost the same day as my granddaughter.
All in all one great place to shop!!!

My friend and I drive a hour every weekend to shop here because this City Market is the best City Market on the Western Slope. Shout out to our friends in the cheese department.. always hookin' us up with samples & delicious cheese recommendations.

This is one of the flagship stores for CM. Great selection of healthy/paleo foods and every other nutrition program. Very clean and we'll organized...and, the most important thing, exceptionally helpful and friendly employees!

I rather shop at the new New City Market in Montrose then shopping at the one here in Delta. I will drive the extra miles just to shop there, specifically when they have much more gluten free items then the one here in Delta. Also the one in Montrose has sushi, Starbucks, a olive bar that's wonderful, their aisle are wider and when you walk into the doors it's more inviting. The way they have their produce/ vegetables area set up is pleasing to the eye. It's like a beautiful painting. All the colors are so vibrant and arranged just in the right areas. Also, staff has been always be there when you need help. The Deli guy was so helpful to me one day regarding gluten free meats that I told my son about it and that I was going back to get my meat there. It's nice to have a store that has items that I can use and I do not have to go to three different ones to find the item. "ONE STOP SHOP"". Plus I just found out this week,you can Pre-order and then just drive up and pick up. That right there is A BIG A+ in my book. It's hard for me to get around these days with MS. So this service would be so beneficial for me. Thank you Montrose City Market employees for all the hard work you do each day keeping your store tip top shape and always willing to help out ones like me with a smile on your face. I'd move in if nobody would object. Most everything I need is here. Sushi, Starbucks, Murray's cheeses, good booze next door, nice produce, floral, deli and bakery, good pharmacy, nice lighting, self checkouts --- I can go on. See for yourself!

The staff and store get 5 stars for quality of service and inventory. It's always a pleasure to interact with this location's staff. The customer base gets 3 stars.

Since the remodel, this store is amazing. The employees are very helpful and the store is always clean. We enjoy doing all of our shopping here.
