Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery

Let preface this review with the fact it was July 4th, other restaurants were closing instead of staying open which meant this place was crowded and overwhelmed. That being said, this place rocked. Very upscale looking for a brewery. Our waitress took her time with us despite lack of help and was knowledgeable of the menu both food and beer. Try the flatbreads, great mixture of taste. The range of beer could meet any taste, from light to and very tasty Incline Red and porter. Thank you guys for being open when no one else was and to the waiters and cooking staff for an awesome job. We will be back hopefully in a calmer night.

We're visiting from NC and had to try this place. First of all, drinks were delicious, and food is mouth watering. The Sonoma Flatbread sounds kind of funky but let me tell you...and absolute mouth-gasm. Our bartender Joe, even tho it was his first shift, was so awesome!! He made sure we had everything we needed, asks how we were, had small talk and a few laughs! We connected as well because he is Calabrese, like I am. He was personable and the kind of bartender you would want to be friends with. Now... the managers however....or shift leaders whatever they were that were hounding him and distracting him...now that bothered me. They were rude, their faces showed an expression of annoyance. They look flustered to have to help a fellow employee and I certainly hope that Joe is respected as a person, and as an employee. 4 people were at the bar and these managers or whatever they were, were acting as if there were 20 people. BESIDES THAT, overall a super dope vibe and great time.

We arrived on a Saturday night without a reservation and we able to grab a couple of tables in the bar area. Everyone enjoyed their food and food and drink, really liked the seasonal beer selection. Nachos were great, they were baked nachos and so held up better than sometimes when you order nachos and the chips get all soggy.

Fun atmosphere but we were told by our one local resident that the seated dining/restaurant half is much more formal and a totally different (but still good) vibe. I would definitely recommend calling for a reservation if you want a table in the restaurant section!

Pretty spacious venue catering to both the brewery and casual dinning experiences simultaneously. Kudos.

I had the Texas fire ribeye at a Perfect medium just as I like it. My partner enjoyed the grilled salmon. We’ll be back!

Had the Da Keg burger and Cajun fish tacos. Everything was a little pricey, but you get what you pay for and it was excellent. As a fan of wheat beer I really enjoyed the yinzer spinster. Friendly staff.

Great experience all around. Great bartender and waiter. Friendly staff all around. Ordered the brewery nachos. There was plenty for 2 people to share. Everything was very fresh. Could not find a brew to suit me. But my wife liked the deception stout.
Will visit again!

Rock Bottom is great. They even paid for my meal after a kitchen mishap which left them unable to completely fill my order. Excellent service and great food!

I arrived 20 minutes early for a lunch with a great friend. Madelyn was my waitress, and she is fabulous! She recommended beer for me (I am not a beer drinker). She was so understanding while my friend and I chatted instead of picking lunch. The food was delish. I had the fish tacos, and they were flavorful but not overly spicy. My friend has the Mac & Cheese, which was also great.

Madelyn's service was impeccable. She checked on us at appropriate intervals, she refilled our water without being asked, and she was very welcoming, pleasant & very knowledgeable about the food and drinks offered. When you go, ask for her.

Not my first time here but everytime the experience was 100% positive. Attentive staff, great food. Highly recommend fish tacos! Chef's kiss delish! 😙

Service was very nice at the bar and very efficient. The cake was burnt on. The crust but the middle was delicious!

We chose Rock Bottom at the Waterfront for a Saturday afternoon early dinner day out. We had a burger and fried chicken sandwich. Delicious and hot. Wasn’t too busy so we had time to talk to the bar manager Terra. We enjoyed their house brewed beers and a few Bloody Mary’s. We asked a waiter Jacob to put the Pirates game on for us. We will definitely be back for food and drinks soon and to see our friend Terra at this awesome location brewery.

Stopped in while visiting on business. Stout was good, fish and chips were good and I didn't wait long.

Bartender kept checking to make sure I had what I needed. Just what I was looking for on a solo dinner while traveling on business.

Excellent service!! Good place to go before a show at the Improv. Healthier meal options, the bowls are GOOD. Something on Meau for everyone. I rarely drink. However, I randomly indulged in a drink before the show; that Elderflower Fizz was crisp, refreshing & delightful! The two bartenders that served us were phenomenal! Paul is a Hoot!

Loved being able to sit outside! Really nice atmosphere and Joe our server was super friendly! The food was yummy and tasted fresh and made and presented with care!

I visited for the second time today. Both times were a home run! Excellent waitress, fantastic food. The first time I ordered the Jambalaya, and today the stuffed Poblanos. I like that they are not afraid to actually use some spice/heat. Both times the food was so good. I had one of the craft wheat beers today and I loved it. Just everything about the place is great. Also, the large private comfortable booths. Cozy atmosphere. Go now! The pic (Stuffed Poblanos)is from the website but it looks exactly like that. Delicious!
🍻Update: Third visit=Great! (Jambalaya repeat). Again, the waitress was excellent. I reluctantly tried the habanero pineapple beer and I loved it. So much so I bought a growler. The only thing about it though was the crowd. It was Saturday afternoon and it was packed. I would rather go on an off time. It has a frost rail at the bar to keep your beer cold.

Our family party of 8 had a terrific time. All meals were delicious and cooked perfectly. Wait staff friendly and attentive. Will definitely go again!

Our server was Kylie and it was a pretty busy night and although it was busy the food was amazing came out at a decent time service was exceptional above and beyond. I had to even call the manager over to let her know how good the food was how good the cooks did for being as busy as they were and the service that Kylie gave, she sidnt even write our order down and all came out EXACTLY THE WAY WE ORDERED both me, my spouse and our son had an amazing time. We willl definietely be back and will be requesting Kylie... She is a TRUE ASSET TO THIS PLACE...

Had a family get together here, they took my reservations over the phone for 13 adults with NO HESITATION, okay pasta (probably just new cooks), great service, great staff - Raenell (hope I spelled that right) was so professional even with the strangest requests we had. I will be back!! Free lot parking, clean bathrooms.
