American Auto Shield

So, I’m not going to tell anyone what to do but this is my experience. I bought a policy from car shield and months down the road began having transmission issues. My shop told me I needed a new one and I gave them the number for American auto shield. They did ask for some weird information to verify the claim but they covered me for a whole new transmission! Whole process took a week to verify the claim and a couple more weeks get it shipped and delivered. But my shop said it’s one of the nicer transmissions they’ve seen and it’s been driving great. My experience with them has been good.

This company actually stepped up and paid my bill of over $10000. I had to pay 245$, not just the $100 deductible,as somethings were not included but all in all my Jeep is working great and I am so thankful I purchased this extended warranty. I can say one should get this warranty cause it can save you thousands of dollars in the long run.

I was very seriously considering canceling my membership. Then transmission went out on my Dodge Charger. Carshield payed for a new transmission, $5000.00 bill. I just paid my deductible and they paid the rest of the balance
Then I locked myself out of my truck at the car wash. In less than 45 minutes Carshield sent someone to rescue me.
Totally satisfies with Carshield. You have to be nuts not to have some kind of coverage for car repairs. The prices are OUTRAGEOUS!!
Don't wait, get some kind of coverage.

I have just made my second claim with American Auto Shield. Having to deal with a car in need of repair and all that entails is stressful. The people I have spoken with at this business were very helpful, patient, and professional. I would recommend their coverage and the business highly.

The roadside towing was I'm packable! Driver was on time and professional! There was no out of pocket payment as the warranty covered it all!!! Thank you! I'm glad to have this warranty!

I recently locked my keys in my car at work. I called roadside assistance and they worked quickly to get me help. They said the technician would arrive within 45 minutes but arrive in 25 minutes. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the service I received!

I received service in the time span given. Actually sooner. The person was very good, and he answered my general questions. Makes me want to use them again. Keep recommending this company

I have 2015 rangerover So far they covered my water pump my axle my Alternator and some other things. I was Spectacle but I haven't had any issues dont regret getting it.. would recommend. Just make sure your up-to-date on maintenance and they will cover the rest..

This is the first time I have used my car warranty since I purchased it.
I have this warranty through Car Shield, the auto repair shop I took it to is called JW Auto care. They treated me like a princess! Fixed my car in record time, & even washed & vacuumed my car & left flowers on the passenger seat when I picked it up! They also took me home & picked me back up when my car was ready. Unfortunately, I ended up having to pay more than my deductible. My deductible is $100.00, I payed $283.76. But it's still cheaper than if I didn't have a warranty at all. My towing experience was very positive! I didn't get the driver's name but he was really nice, let me preface this by saying I had to wait an hour for the tow, but that seems standard these days. But he had my car hooked up & ready to go quickly. He had a really positive attitude, loves his job & family. My experience overall was good, it would have been better if I only had to pay just my deductible, but I will be giving them a call.

My experience was wonderful, they actually paid over $4,000 and I paid $100.00 and my car was ready in 2 days ,they were going to rent me a rental for a day. I love them,I've had them for a few years and this is not my 1st time they had my car repaired and rented me a car Love them has been on spot.

I have had no problems with this company I am using this warranty for the first time my repair bills was almost 5 k for engine repair and a few smaller issues adjuster looked at it Friday was approved this morning.

They were very polite and the tow truck sowed up within the time given. Very efficient

It was easy to go through the approval process, and this was no cheap job. Transmission was having issues, and they paid for the cost to replace it.

The Roadside Assistance representatives that I talked with were courteous & helpful. However, customers need to be very careful about what service they request. I thought that my car wouldn't start because it needed a jumpstart for the battery. And that is what I told the rep. As I waited, and waited, and waited for hlep to arrive, several people tried to jumpstart my car and we soon realized that the battery was fine and not the source of the problem. After waiting over an hour, I called Roadside Assistance again to find out when the service provider would arrive, I discovered that even if they came, they would not be able to provide the towing that was needed., So another service request was initiated for towing service. Portillo's Towing was fantastic! Arrived quickly, got the car hooked up & towed to the garage in record time. The Roadside Assistance representatives were very helpful, aside from the fact that they never explained the difference between a "soft" service request & a towing request.

Great service..very quick to get my car. Friendly and knowledgeable tow guy. Enjoyed the experience totally.
