Pica's Boulder Mexican Taqueria

I enjoy this restaurant occasionally. It is nearby work.

The lunch burrito portions are large, which I prefer. I always order a wet burrito with salsa fresca. I very much enjoy the taste all the way through. Pretty much the perfect burrito in my opinion.

Prices are affordable. There is back patio outdoor seating as well as a small dining room. You order as you walk in and your order is delivered to your table with your number placard. This is a very convenient process, especially with so many employee split bills from work events.

Highly recommended!

Pica's is a regular, go-to place for me. Atmosphere is fast casual, but the outdoor patio is great most of the year. Service is primarily self-serve, but employees are friendly and helpful. My favorite dishes are the carne asada wet burrito and the duck tacos.

Don't get to that side of Boulder much, but Pica's is my go-to when I do. I say the beet tacos are the most meaty tacos in town! Seriously good. And ask for one or three of their homemade hot sauces. They're honestly world class.
Staff is always friendly and outdoor patio is great in warm weather.

Had dinner for the first time here tonight. It was delightful. Many options, super kid friendly (drawing papers, blocks, ext.) Great ambiance and good food. A little pricey but worth it!

I cannot stress enough how amazing this place is. At least once a week my son asks me to come here! The food is amazing but it doesn’t even compare to the service. The servers are amazing and treat everyone with open arms. Off the top of my head I can say Elana is amazing! She is so kind and works to be more than a server, but to get to know her customers. Love this place! 🙌🏼

We are definitely regulars at Pica's in Boulder and we obviously love the place. First, the staff is totally chill and excellent. Part of the reason we go there is we love the people who work there. But more importantly we love the food and think the tacos are better than any place in Boulder county. The tacos are unique in their cremas and the corn tortillas are made fresh for customers to watch. Favorites for us are carnitas tacos, chicken enchiladas, and barbacoa (which they do not always have). We highly recommend Boulder Pica's.

So I ended up trying this place again and I was very happy with my quesadilla and rice! The meal was very delicious and the staff made sure I enjoyed every aspect of my dining experience. The owner went above and beyond to show me that this restuarant can bring out some delicious foods !

I left full & very satisfied even though the prices were a little high for my budget.

It's kind of a tucked away in the corner resteraunt & not the easiest to find but it's nicer and bigger on the inside than one might think from the outside.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere while there too.

We never eat sit down, but it’s excellent take out. I always get the wet carnitas burrito it is delish they also have excellent margs, chips, enchiladas and a nice staff! Great business. Louisville location is terrific as well.

It’s a little on the expensive side for a counter service Mexican joint but other than that no complaints! Their carne asada enchiladas are my absolute favorite & their staff is always very friendly when they answer the phone for to-go orders!

Stopped in for lunch and had a great meal. The Al pastor tacos were great and they had some cool artwork on the walls. Highly recommend!

Pica's is a great neighborhood restaurant. One of my go-to places. Good good, friendly staff, relaxing, restorative.

Everything about Pica's was wonderful, as usual!! The patio was a perfect spot to meet a girlfriend for Happy Hour and enjoy our watermelon margaritas and chicken nachos!

By far our favorite restaurant for this category. The food is always amazing. They have great gluten-free options for those with Celiac disease. And the staff are always amazing. I prefer the Louisville location in general, but both spots are great.

I got the picas smothered chicken burrito as seen in the picture. It's so good I couldn't wait to take the picture so I ate some first 😂😂 anyways, this place is great, they also have Maine root root beer (and other flavors) which is really awesome. It is clean, the staff are nice and professional and the food is reasonably priced. Would recommend

The food at Pica's is phenomenal! You have to try this place at least once. My boyfriend got shrimp tacos 🍤 🌮 and said they were the best he's ever had and I got the Al Pastor quesadilla and it was delicious it also had actual pieces of pineapple in it! He also ordered the watermelon aguas frescas and it was the best I've ever tried. Almost like watermelon with lime sal y poquito chili. The staff was also really nice. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good Mexican based food or delicious margaritas 🍹 and drinks!

This is our neighborhood go to. We love walking, Topeka's, sitting outside and enjoying chips and salsa and delicious food.

The staff are always friendly and efficient. And if you have a family with small kids because typically has some games that you can play while you eat dinner.

I'm a big fan of the Baja fish tacos. And my kids really love the burritos. Beware, they are enormous.

Big portions a great flavor. Staff was friendly and on top of things.

The margaritas are strong! The food is great! Their patio is a big plus. They were very accommodating of a gluten allergy we had in our group as well.
