Rock solid repair shop with fast turn around and down to earth pricing. it’s a super laid back atmosphere and always proper music playing in background.

The owner Joe is onsite, helping customers and turning wrenches.

Helped me take a second hand bike purchase and bring it back to life, allowing me some security to put the bike through its paces.

This was a coworker recommendation and I can see why, I was so pleased with quick turnaround and ease of communication I would absolutely recommend to anyone needing to show your bike some TLC or buy refurbished.

A couple months ago, I was in his shop waiting as he helped some super douchy out-of-towners that thought the rules of our local trails didn't apply to them. I was very impressed how he handled himself as he made sure to get his point across, as professionally as possible.
Thanks for having a cool attitude and a back room full of parts Joe!

Very chill, great guys and good local info. Helped us with trail choices and let us park our truck camper in front of their shop. Their shop dog "Stevie Nicks" was awesome!

Good people. Good products. And they are great at allowing people like me to recycle the boldly bent spokes and rims of wheels gone by....

The staff here goes out of their way to make sure that your gear is taken care of and in good working order. Their pricing is awesome and they never take long to get stuff fixed. I split my year between flagstaff and here and I have not found a better bike shop or friendlier techs anywhere else! Joe rocks!

This is the best bike shop I've ever been to and the owner was extremely helpful and welcoming! My husband and I were visiting from out of town and went in looking for parts to repair my shifter after a mtb crash. After a conversation with the owner, he was able to help us determine what might be best for my needs (I have hand and wrist issues so need modifications to shift). I wish we had such an amazing bike shop in my town! Highly recommend!

Joe, the shop owner is a seriously friendly dude! Called about a brake bleed I needed done, after I had unsuccessfully tried to bleed it myself, and he had it back to me after only a single day in the shop. My rear lever action was clutch on the trails immediately after receiving the bike, and I couldn’t be happier. 10/10 would recommend!

Great customer service at this shop and fair prices.
This shop fixed my 15 yr old Walmart bike for a reasonable price. I was on the fence about just getting a new one due to the pedals clicking (bearings gone bad) but I'm glad I kept it and had Durango Cyclery fix it. Now it rides so smoothly and I don't have to be nervous about it breaking down on me! I'm really happy.

If you are looking for that friendly local home town bike shop feel than Durango Cyclery is your shop. Their mechanical work is spot on with an attention to detail you won’t find anywhere else in town.

Thanks to Joe and the rest of the Durango Cyclery staff. Definitely my go to shop.

Great experience. I had stopped by a few days before to get a small part, and today I ran over what I thought was a tack about a block away. Rather than repairing it on the sidewalk I wheeled in my bike and the owner was able to get it in the stand. When he pulled out the tack, it was actually a big screw, and the tire was toast. He didn’t have the tire I needed for sale so he loaned me the shop bike to buy it elsewhere and bring it back. Installed the tire and squared away the slightly rubbing disc caliper for a fair price.

Highly recommend. Great vibe.

Joe is fantastic and it has been the best experience at a bike shop I've had in Durango. They are psyched to work on bikes, make you feel as though you are an intelligent human being, and that learning more about bikes is a good thing! Super friendly, down to earth folks who are here for the love of bikes with no ego. Go support this amazing shop!

The guy was super cool and helps my partner out a lot with his bike. We went in for a friend to get a bike but they didn't have one for someone his height, but the guy said they just got started on building some new bikes. So he told us to check back in a week or two. The immediate bikes are affordable and in good condition, so we are prepared to find a nice bike for my 6'3" friend from here. This shop is definitely friends of the lower incomes unlike the bike shop on second ave. We will return in hopes of finding a bike a new home.

The Cyclery is the BEST!! Not only do these guys know their bikes and how they wrench on them, they are also great people! I had a high-end mountain bike stolen a few months back and the thief showed up with the bike at their shop. Joe (Cyclery owner) quickly realized that the bike was stolen, tried to take possession at the shop, and even chased the culprit down and got them to hand the bike over after catching up. Brendan (Cyclery crew) then went out of their way to track down the real owner of the bike (me!). Top notch!

Best bike mechanics in town. I took both my bike and my wife's in for the tune up. They checked everything wheel to wheel that needed work and even charged me less that I signed up for because my bike was in such good shape and didn't need some of the items in the tune up. Very friendly, easy to use, professional, and a quick turn around. Highly recommend.

We were in town to leave my granddaughter at the college. It became apparent that she could really use a bike to get around campus. We know nothing about bikes. Joe was very patient with us, found the perfect bike for granddaughter, showed her how to shift, how to use the lock. The bike was in great shape, and affordable. We appreciate it!

How can you not love this bike shop. They sell new, used and even fix up old bikes and sell them back to the public for little profit just to provide affordable bikes to people. The employees are always nice but not pandering and they will get you fixed up with what you need wheather its a bottle cage, a patch kit or a big ol'fat bike all fixed up to go touring.
