The Upper Crust

The Upper Crust is a great spot for lunch or dinner. My son and I have been coming to Gettysburg for years and tried this place for the first time and it was a great experience. The waitress was friendly and helpful. The restaurant is very clean and has an amazing atmosphere. The wood fired ovens are really cool to see. They have basketball, pool and other activities you can do inside the restaurant. The pizza is probably the best pizza I've ever had and I been to a ton of pizza places. I high recommend this restaurant. In the spring and summer they open the front up so you can enjoy the outside environment while you're still eating inside the restaurant. They also offer outdoor seating.

My husband and I were cwlebrating our 8th anniversary. We saw this place and walked in, the atomosphere is modern but had 3 open pizza ovens, with a free arcade in the back. Bryan was our server, he was friendly and knowledgeable. They shared a kitchen with Borough BBQ, which was also given to the guests to enjoy. The pizza we chose was the 4 cheese white pizza with brisket and got borough fries from the Borough BBQ side. We ordered the peach and apple cobbler from Borough Bbq for dessert. The whole meal was delicious, worth the money and the experience. Would definitely come back here.

A gem and a find! We love this place and go there for lunch every time we are in Gettysburg. The wood burned pizza is great. Perfect crust- generous toppings.

Their pesto roasted cauliflower? Hummus? Authentic and homemade. Fantastic! Lots of good salads, brisket… the food is excellent.

Another perk?!?! The free games. We played basketball, pool, air hockey… such a fun place.

I ate at the upper crust for the first time, I can say it's my new favorite eating spot in Gettysburg. They have the three beehive woodstoves it's a very open atmosphere not to compact or small feeling. I had the beef brisket which was delicious. The inside smells slightly of wood smoke which is so nice and appealing. I love this place.

The food and atmosphere were amazing! The games were all free and a perfect setting if you have kiddos. The server was rude but maybe she was just having a busy night. We will try it out again.

My family loves this place. Amazing food options. The pizza's fantastic. You can also order barbecue from the place next door.

This place has a bar for the adults, craft beer. And a game area for kids to play pool tables, shuffleboard and basketball hoops.

We love watching the pizzas being cooked in the wood fired ovens. We also love the open garage doors to the front Love the establishment.

The brisket pizza with ricotta is one of our favorites!! We also love the hush puppies and the mac and cheese bites. You can't go wrong with any other pizzas here our kids love the pepperoni obviously. The pizzas are personal size and they run about $18 to $20.

Excellent selection of craft beers, an extensive whiskey selection, and wood fired pizzas that were really good.

Free games in the back were a cool addition as well grabbed a table to split between a few people who were in town for an event we hosted at a local brewery. Staff were all personably and friendly, gave their recommendations for pizza that did not disappoint.

Hoping to be able to get back and really see what all they have to offer soon.

My husband and our friends have absolutely loved this place both times we’ve gone. Great pizza, drinks, and atmosphere! Josh has been both our server and bartender. He’s so freaking great!! We’re all looking forward to seeing him again next time we’re down. :)

I wish there were more stars to give. Honestly, while the food is absolutely amazing, the atmosphere is welcoming, the best part of this experience was our Waitress Sarah! What a gem. Genuinely kind, funny and beautiful! She deserves a raise! To be this great of a worker and a young mom, is so honorable. Thank you for making everyone feel so loved and important. We will be back!!

First time here. Right on 30 in Gettysburg. No wait at 5:30pm. Nice atmosphere. Three wood fire ovens are definitely neat. Lots of fresh air and light coming from the front bay doors being open. Sarah was our server tonight. Very helpful and friendly. Appetizers came out quick and were hot. Nice drink menu of wine, beer, and cocktails. Got a beer and a strawberry mimosa. Wife was surprised the drink had strawberry purée in it. The owner of this restaurant owns the borough bbq restaurant next door. Meaning that you can order from either restaurant right where your sitting. I chose the brisket sandwich. ( No sides are included). My wife got the pulled pork, with baked beans which are now her new favorite! After eating we looked around at some games and such at the back of the restaurant. You can walk up the couple stairs to next door to look at that restaurant and bar area. There is plenty of seating inside and out at both places. Very nice stop if your walking and looking for something to eat! They have take out also.

I have been to the Upper Crust a few times now and it has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in Gettysburg. The service is wonderful and food is fantastic!! The last few times I’ve been there my server has been Sarah and she is the BEST!! She is so sweet and kind and always made sure we were taken care of. Along with the pizza, their cheesesteak is a stellar food choice!!

Great little place half a block from downtown round a bout. Great for family’s free games and family friendly atmosphere. We sat outside with our dog. Pizzas were great a little pricey but not terrible. Service was friendly and quick. Lots of selections on beer and food. The pretzel Mac and cheese bites were delicious as an appetizer.

We were lucky to stumble on this place on a Friday night. Great pizzas! We had the brisket pizza which was really good, and the calamari is on point. The back area has FREE GAMES, pool, shuffleboard, skeeball, hoops, and air hockey. After dinner we hung out and played games drinking the delicious local beers. Highly recommend!

My husband and I absolutely love having date nights here!! The atmosphere is cozy, yet energetic!! We always ask for Sarah to be our server. She is amazing!! We highly recommend Bailee to prepare a smoked old fashioned for you!! They are fabulous!!

Upper crust is a really cool spot with great food. Took us awhile to get our drinks and initial food order but once the waitor took our order the food came really fast and my wife and I loved that. We ordered the Mac and cheese balls which were absolutely amazing. Fish and Chips and marqurita pizza. The pizza was a bit crunchy but still great. So all in all 5 stars. Maybe be a bit quicker on the initial greet but the waiter was amazing.

Great lunch spot! My husband and I enjoyed our late lunch while visiting Gettysburg for the day. Our server, Jesse L, was fantastic and patient. Recommend brisket, baked beans, cole slaw and the gyro. Highly endorse the grapefruit & elderflower spritz. :)

I can give 5 stars to the winner of the show, the appetizers. I've pictured the spicy Korean wings, the roasted cauliflower with the most amazing pesto on the side, and the bibb salad. That alone was a yummy dinner! I'm not a pizza lover but those in my party who order the 12" pizzas a 4 star.

Ambience was cute and expansive all in one. Great place with family and friends.

The Upper Crust is always a great time all around! My husband and I live an hour away and come to Gettysburg just to come here. We love the games, food, but especially our favorite bartender, Josh, who always makes us feel welcomed and gives us the best service!

Great spot downtown. Jakob is the best bartender, drinks were well made! Hummus plate and wings are delicious!

One of my favorite restaurants in Gettysburg! The food is always excellent, and the free games in the back keep our entire family entertained! We always request Sarah as our server! She’s the best!!
