O'Rorke's Family Eatery

Fun eatery right in the middle of Gettysburg PA. Our server was very busy and had more than her share of tables but she kept our glasses full and never forgot us. The Rueben sandwich was on point and the homemade chips are reason enough to visit. The fish n chips were very good. We ordered a side of the Guinness gravy to dip EVERYTHING in. Wow!
We dined on the very large patio. Perfect late September day in Gettysburg.
Worth finding a parking spot to visit.
Highly recommended.

Our server Lindsey was amazing! Loved the atmosphere, food came out fairly quickly . Ordered the creamy crab soup. Tasty but a little too thick. Also got the signature salad was delicious and the French onion soup was pretty good. We would definitely go back next time we're visiting!

Good service, great food! Large portions. Food came out fast and was delicious! Will come back again next trip!

Absolutely wonderful service and food in a cozy, quaint Irish pub. Love the convenient parking nearby. The fried pickles are to die for! Had BLT on sourdough and my husband has a cheeseburger salad, both excellent. The homemade chips are very good. Only small point of feedback was the corn fritters were a little cold, but tasted great. We will certainly return and look forward to sitting outside when the weather warms up.

We got there late, so the bartender waited on us, did a great job too. The patio was amazing, especially since we had it all to ourselves. Will stop again.

The food was great!!!!! I loved the beef stu and potatoes. The service was also great. The atmosphere was amazing. It wasn't to busy or loud until we were leaving. I had a great time. Can't wait to eat there again when we visit Gettysburg.

Loved everything about this place. Best place we found in Gettysburg to eat. It was New Years Day, had to have pork and kraut mashed potatoes.

Me and my wife have been coming here for years never a bad moment we are in Gettysburg 3 times a year we make it a point to eat there every time.even though some our favorite food is gone we still enjoy it our st Patrick visit is usually spent outside watching the people and doing a shot of Jameson

Neat little eatery in town. Food was delish and portions were very generous! The history in the building was interesting to look at while we waited for our food. Would definately recommend.

Came here for a drink and to order food to go, it was live music night and the gentleman was awesome, Jen was the bartender and she was absolutely amazing, I ordered a cosmopolitan and it was probably one of the best I have had

Definitely worth a stop when visiting Gettysburg. The beef stew was delicious, and service was great.

Wife was there today with her girlfriends. Said a solid 5. Good service, super nice. Best Irish coffee. Ruben nachos delicious, but made with home-made, excellent potato chips....

We went in February you can usually sit outside with your dog. It was a nice day all the tables were put away but the girl set one up for us so we could sit with our dog. She kept checking on us got hamburgers they were awesome with homemade chips

Quality food. Surprisingly quick service even when busy. Best shepherd's pie I have had in my life. Serves Coke (a must). Can't wait to go back the next time we're in Gettysburg.

O'rorke's was a nice place to grab dinner after we finished the auto tour of the battle of Gettysburg. They have a good menu with a variety of options and a decent dimension of beers on tap. The staff were attentive and the atmosphere was pleasant. The food was good and the portions were just about right, we all had a little leftover.

We’re from NC we stopped here for lunch. They did not disappoint! The food was delicious the waitress was very nice and friendly. We ate on the patio with our pooch! They are dog friendly which is a plus. The Shepard pie was delicious and the pretzels with cheese was amazing!

The food was good. They definitely use fresh crab meat here, no doubt about that! Because I found a piece of shell in my crab dip. I wasn’t too bothered by it because it showed that they are using fresh real crab meat. I’m just glad I didn’t chip a tooth.

Try their Sheppards Pie. It is authentic and very savory. Pair it with the extra Champ (mashed potatoes with butter and fresh scallions) on the side because you don’t get nearly enough mash with the pie.

We also ordered the fresh kettle cooked chips, they came out warm so they were freshly deep fried to order. Fresh cooked chips. I was hooked. A little pricy though at $9.

There is a bar. The atmosphere is very lively here. Everyone is happy and busy. Good food in traditional Irish Pub style. We will definitely come back!

Awesome customer service as well as food coming out quick. The food was amazing. Highly recommend. Fish and chips along with meatloaf sandwiches with chips and fried pickles. No skimping what so ever.

I'd been here before and had to make the 2 hour motorcycle ride back on a nice sunny day. Everything from the greeting, the seating, the feedings and the farewell felt like a family affair. Their homemade recipes are amazing and the pricing is fair. An improvement would be for the servers to let the customers know that even though a meal has fries as a side, there's an additional charge for them. I didn't notice until I received the ticket, and was surprised although it didn't detract enough from everything else to rate the entire experience lower.

I can't wait to return and try another dish!

Saturday night live music, full bar and tables. Always good sign for restaurant. Four course meal terrific, beer perfect, service courteous. Indoor space premium during winter so arrive early!
