Time Warp Comics and Games

Being a life-long collector of comic books, Time Warp Comics in Boulder, Colorado is the BEST store I've decided to visit. Reasons I state this include selection and pricing but also the great feeling I receive upon each visit. The shop owner made me his friend long ago, and his personality is mirrored by the staff. It's a 100-mile round trip for me to drive to Boulder, but it's a short distance when I consider what's "in store" for me when I get there. Thanks everybody!

Now this is a really cool comic shop in Boulder. It's been around for a while and has a blend of modern meets classic mom and pop shop. It's pretty big for a comic shop, but a little tight in some areas. But that is due to all the stuff they have. If back issues are something you're looking for, they definitely have you covered. Shoot, I found a ton of Star Wars that I can't find at many other shops.

Plus they have a HUGE selection of Trade Paper Backs (TPB) and hardcovers. I only know of two other shops that have that many which they are in Denver and Colorado Springs. Now there are only two negative things that I can say. One is that it is hot there. Maybe it is because of the weather and it made it humid, but holy cow I was sweating both times I came to visit. Second is that they don't have all their back issues priced out and have to check them out at the counter. Granted they offered fair prices on everything I bought, it's just a personal preference that I like to know up front that I am going to pay a few dollars or $50 for a comic.

Otherwise this is definitely a great place to check out I give it 4.75 out of 5 stars and look forward to coming back one day

Just bought some back issues and was really impressed with how fair the grading and pricing was. The worker was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I recommend.

I’ve been shopping here since the mid-80’s! The selection of new and back issue comics (and graphic novels), trading cards, T-shirts, and other collectables is vast, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable! It’s the best comic book store in the Rocky Mountain region!

Awesome place. Can't recommend it enough. Fair prices and I've found items here that I haven't been able to find anywhere else. I'll continue to come up from Golden as often as I can just to come here.

Hands down, the best place to buy comics in the Denver-Boulder area. Store staff is knowledgeable and welcoming, the selection is huge, and back issue prices are super fair. Awesome stream sales too—it’s just the best local comic shop around.

We went Before Christmas to Time Warp Comics to find some old comics for my 90-year-old daddy; the folks there helped us choose just the right ones!

Great location and big selection for some near free comics

For me, this was a pop in while visiting the area and I wish I had more time to dig through the plethora of books. Had that old school comic shop feeling. Staff was friendly and helped me find the area I was looking for and I was able to fill a few holes in the collection.

Very large inventory for the space it's in and it did make it a little hard to really search through a long box. A lot of the back issues are high up, and as a 6 foot tall collector, even I found it hard to dig through the boxes.

If you are in the area, make the stop, you'll find something you want/need and you will not be disappointed.

*update - After a year, I was back in the area for a specific reason; to purchase comics Wayne set aside for me. Ended up filling a number of holes in my collection. Pricing was spot on for the back issues, and the communication provided by the owner and staff was outstanding.

Best place in Boulder to get your comics! Friendly staff with deep knowledge of the art form and industry. Big selection, and I've had good luck asking them to special order hard-to-find stuff, too!

I ADORE timewarp! My home comic shop, they have always accommodated me and taken care of me without hesitation. Walking in here feels like a home away from home, honestly. 🌸❤ Thank you for helping me get into comics, and fostering that new love as it's been growing!

I have been shopping here for years. It just keeps getting better. So when I was trying to find an independent comic series called Love Everlasting, you bet I called TW. They found it!! The staff is super nice and so helpful.

Packed to the gills with interesting stuff! Nice selection of small press graphic novels and floppies, lots of stuff you don't find most places.

Time Warp comics is an exceedingly warm and inviting comic shop, with a dedicated and caring staff.

Despite how much more complicated and difficult the comics industry has become in the past few years, they go out of their way to help everyone who comes through their doors.

This store embodies the locally owned, small community dream that Boulder wants to see itself as. If you like comics, or even if you just wanna see if you like comics, it’s the place to be.
