Great, safe place for a filling breakfast. My wife had the veggie omelet and she could only eat half of it! I had the sausage cheese omelet, equally good. Coffee was great and our waitress made us smile.

Wait staff was awesome. We had the special- country fried steak with gravy, garlic red potatoes, veggies and fresh baked bread - food was excellent.

Great traditional breakfast cafe. Super friendly staff, clean, perfect portions, low prices. Try a cinnamon roll!

The wife and I gave our poor server all kinds problems with our order. She was kind, patient, and gracious waiting on us to make up our minds and stop changing our order. She kept a smile on her face the whole time. I wish I had asked her name because she definitely deserves recognition. The food was excellent and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area.

Side note, the wife and I are both vegetarians and even though the wife ordered a veggie omelet she found a few pieces of ham in it. We're sure it was accidental. They probably didn't clean the grill off completely before cooking our order. Not the end of the world. But any hard core vegetarians and vegans out there may want to request they clean the grill before cooking your food.

Perfect breakfast place! We're from out of town and are so glad we stopped here. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming so we felt right at home, despite it obviously being a hub for locals. Fantastic food, service, and prices. 5 stars for sure.

Always great food- Robin & Precilla are the BEST waitresses around. My sister-in-law says they have the best mushroom/swiss burger. I love their omelettes & the guys love their chicken fried steaks & eggs. Always something for everyone

Hot food, great service, busy place on the lakefront!

We stopped here for breakfast during our roadtrip Metro Detroit, MI to Duluth, MN. The service was excellent. The food was super, particularly the pancakes. This is my first review online, I had to sign up to share, I had to let everyone know, the pancakes were the best we've ever had!

I love there biscuits and gravy. And Percilla is super nice and funny. She always remembers me by my order and never forgets what I want. She is so goofy it's contagious I always leave smiling. Lake Shore sells breakfast and lunch.

Very cute local place! The food was excellent and the staff was very attentive and friendly. We got a lot of food for a cheep price as well! If I lived in the town I'd definitely be a regular.

Amazing staff, great food, service, and prices that match! Couldn't be happier with how I was treated. Coffee was constantly being refilled and I was genuinely attended to. Definitely will be going back every time I can. Wish this was closer to home

Everyone there treats you like family. Waitresses are warm and always have a smile for you. The prices are decent and the food is great. But it is the waitresses that make you want to go back.

Lakeshore Cafe has EXCELLENT SERVICE & WAITSTAFF. The meals are delicious and offer the best prices in town. The breakfast is fabulous. It has a cheerful atmosphere.

The service and value of this cafe far exceeded our expectations. Popular with locals for good reason. Dined there twice during our 2 day visit to Ashland. Will DEFINITELY go there again when we're in the area!
