Time Out

Time Out, a Washburn staple, is your go to spot! If you want a bang for your buck, this is the spot, you get a ton of food for a little amount of money.

Dad got the omelet, wow was it huge but he said it was very good!

I got a pancake with strawberries and cream, could do without the cream but it was good!

Also got the Chicken Tenders because I had too, they were good! 7.4/10 on my scale.

Just a nice, chill spot here in Washburn, Wi!

Finally a real restaurant with huge portions and an honest price. After a weekend in Minneapolis and paying too much for too little we escaped north to find peace and quiet and The Time Out Restaurant. I chose the sportsman breakfast. It came out hot and cooked perfectly. The silver dollar pancakes were at least 7” in diameter and there were three of them. Everything else was cooked as one would expect..PERFECT.
I don’t know if I would ever be back through this town but I would never pass this honest meal for an honest price.

Great breakfast place in Washburn, WI. We were on the way to Apostle Island ferry tour and spend night at Washburn. Had breakfast the following morning and this is one of the few places open early as 7 am. Great service!!!

The food is always great here, especially the breakfasts. Try the strawberry pancakes, it's like sunshine on a plate. Service has always been top notch. These people care and it shows.

Nice small diner with a pretty good selection of breakfast and lunch/dinner options. Visited on a winter morning and we had the place to our selves. Good and helpful service. Food was exactly what I expected and tasted great.

A great small town restaurant! Awesome food, great prices and they will make your food just how you like it! The wait staff is super friendly and always attentive! Great place to catch up with friends over a heaping breakfast!

Local, dive restaurant. Nothing has changed in the last 30 years we've been going there, which is why it is great. Cash or local check only (they have an atm). Food is always good and cheap. Malts and shakes are top notch. Fish has been fresh and one of our favorites.

I had the 4 egg and ham omelet with toast. It was awesome. I couldn't even eat it all. The service was fsst, and the food came out quickly. They must be doing thing right there. They were busy the times I was there for breakfast.

Came in at 1pm and I was treated like a family member, the waitress was Very nice and had our HOT order out within 8 minutes !

Finally a place where the food tastes exactly like you expect. And fast service with friendly staff makes this place a must stop

It was awesome! Everything we ordered was perfectly cooked. Busy but everyone was handled in a timely and orderly manner. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Delicious food, inexpensive meals, and very friendly atmosphere. I ordered the omelet called the Champ. Gigantic!

$11 for the heap of goodness. Every single element had flavor. I don’t know how they do it. Consistently great food despite a dumb name.

Folks here are always really nice too. Cash or check only is always a rub and feels weird yet in 2023… There is an ATM that charges you $2.50 in order to pay them. The food and service well make up for it. 👏🏽❤

We were camping in Washburn and found this gem. Had two breakfasts and a lunch. Food was plentiful, very tasty and reasonably priced. We had a different server each time and all three were very pleasant.

It is very cool place! Very tasty and big size food. We took 2 big omlets and they were awesome! Definitely recommend this place!
