Cornerstone Restaurant & Bar

My wife and I dined here last week. I had a Cornerstone Salad and the Seafood Stew. The Salad was delicious with the cranberries and walnuts. The Stew was in a tomato soup type base with shrimp, mussels, clams, fingerling potatoes, and a baguette. It was delicious. My wife had a Cornerstone Salad and the Brisket Tacos. She loved the Tacos with shaved roasted Brussel Sprouts and the Salad. They had a good selection of local microbrews to top off the excellent dinners.

I won't lie, I don't get to Aspinwall often. (You know, bridges, rivers, & Pittsburgh.) But, this restaurant was a real treat. The atmosphere was chic, but not fussy. The food choices were great, and the execution was exceptional. Thank you for very attentive service. Also, we got to meet a very nice dog on the patio.

We stopped by for dinner tonight as we were in the area and were delighted with the menu, service, and atmosphere.

Started with the burrata - refreshing, crisp, and very tasty! I had the flat iron, medium-rare (done to perfection), with asparagus and fingerling potatoes. Simply incredible! My wife had the Amish chicken with risotto and kale. Unbelievable!

Definitely on our list to go back! We'll done, Cornerstone!

Had the lamb burger which was very good. Decent draft list and decent atmosphere. Bartenders were attentive and the right amount of talkative. Was a little pricey for what it is. Not in a hurry to come back but will eventually.

I came here with a friend. What a gem of a place!!! Totally delicious, great staff, and wonderful menu. I had the salmon with miso glaze which was excellent. I would recommend. I will also be back!

A nice weekend brunch spot. We sat outside. The food was fresh and high quality.

Sat outside, service was great. I really enjoyed the Amish Chicken. I thought the portions on the risotto was not enough but it was really good.

My first time there & it was great. However the handicap bathroom not so much,very small.We were seated on the patio, getting through all the heavy doors & trying to navigate a wheelchair was very difficult.

A little cold inside, but the brunch was so delicious. I had the quiche but couldn’t leave there without getting the Brussels sprouts, they are so light and crispy with a sweet hot flavor. Yum!!

A nice old time classic interior. I had high expectations for the food, and they surpassed it. Very nice low-key vibe and atmosphere. And exceptionally good house bloody Mary drink.

Reliable with great American dishes, including brunch. Lots of space inside and great to sit outside, although the passing trains will blow their whistle right as they pass. There is a hidden gem on the bar menu, zoom in to see if you can spot it. Best deal in town. Nice bar.

I’ve been to this casual restaurant twice. I was so impressed with the staff both times. Though they are young they are like seasoned professionals.
The food was expertly prepared too.
Whether you sit indoors or outside you will enjoy yourself.

This was 6 years ago with my Mother in law. We had a great time with good food sitting outside in the porch!!
