We rented classic skis here for a cabin weekend. They were super helpful in having everything ready and organized for us when we arrived! I emailed in advance to let them know skier info (height, weight, shoe size) and to confirm a rental reservation. Would come here again!!

Great people, great service, and great prices on Nordic ski gear. I live in Colorado but still order much of my gear through this shop. It's an easy stop on the way from the Minneapolis airport to the Birkie trail too! Good place for good coffee, conversation, and biathlon watching as well. Can't say enough great stuff about this shop.

Kris & Bjorn are wonderful and knowledgeable proprietors who are committed to the sport of Nordic skiing and to their community. They provide top quality Nordic ski equipment as well as services such as lessons, training, etc. Out There's mission statement appears to be to get the community educated about the benefits of silent sports -- especially cross country skiing -- and they provide the means to do so. They give back to the sport and I can't say enough good things about them -- northwest Wisconsin is lucky to have them!

My daughter did the research that led us to Out There: Nordic Sport in Rice Lake. I haven’t been on skis for 20+ years and she wanted us to be fitted with the right equipment for a great cross country experience. I am confident that the care taken to fit us with the best skis for our needs will do that!
