Tavern In The Wall

We were in town from out of state and wanted bar food.

The food was delicious. Everything was fresh and tasted like quality products were used.

The server was friendly and funny, she had us laughing the whole time.

Touch tunes so you can play whatever you like.

Lots of parking.

Located in a small plaza with other businesses, like a pizza shop.

We definitely plan on stopping here again when we are in Pittsburgh on a Mac Miller trip again.

Was there Saturday evening with four friends. First time. This is a very welcoming and friendly place. The service was excellent both at the bar and at the table. We were very well taken care of. And everyone loved their food. The soup of the day was Wedding Soup. It was absolutely delicious. Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu items that I couldn't decide on. Highly recommemded!

Came in from out of town and wasn’t too familiar with the area. We come across this place on google. We were in town looking to relocate to the area. Our bartender Maria was extremely hospitable and fun. She made us feel like we lived here. She went above and beyond to make us comfortable and made our first night here great! Highly recommend this place. And the patrons were just as nice!

A group of 14 of us walked into Tavern tonight after Caliente Pizza down the street could not / would not seat us. (Details of that saga in another review The staff at Tavern were amazing. They accomodated all 14 of us with no notice with a bunch of tables pushed together. Service was efficient and friendly. I had the cajun chicken pasta. Chicken was dry, but pasta was excellent. Salad good and almost all their dressings are homeade. Everyone in our group liked their food which I would characterize as good to very good pub fare. No loud music. Shout out to their team for saving the evening for our very large group. Will definitely return and recommend.

Great sport with friendly service, good food, and good drinks. Relaxed, easy, and comfortable spot for happy hour, dinner, or drinks. Good specials.

We always try new places to eat. Stopped here after an outing out with family. Food was good, service excellent . We enjoyed our outing in the Tavern

Great burgers at tavern in the wall ! Nice little hometown bar that's good for a shot and beer.. Not a wild Friday night place.. Not a global food destination. Just a beer and burger community staple that's worth checking out!

Love those fish sandwiches for Lenten Friday. The rest of the menu is top-notch also.

Good little bar and restaurant. The food is delicious. They have daily specials. The service is great. Very friendly staff!
I didn't try it yet, but they have wild caught salmon on the menu.

My girlfriend and I started to come here for lunch on Friday Lenten beer-battered fish; which was excellent. Today we stopped by at opening (11:00) and tried a couple of their other dishes. My girlfriend had the mahi mahi and she thought it was delicious and tender. She also enjoyed the sweet potato waffle fries. I had the Tavern Burger with fries. The beef was fresh and perfectly cooked (medium). The gouda cheese, over-easy egg and bacon made a perfect combination for taste. The fries were hot, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. The service was great. Kerry was very friendly and personable and well-prepared, considering we opened the place. We plan to visit more often now that we've discovered that this restaurant has a wide variety of quality items on their menu.

Great atmosphere with a home-like feel; waitresses so friendly and make you feel like old friends. Watched an elderly woman eating alone and one waitress sat and talked with her as she ate - very impressed. Food was good bar food and the prices reasonable. Will head back to this tavern in the wall!

Yummy food & our waitress was very nice.

Went to dinner here with a friend. Loved that they had Pitt soft ball, NCAA tournament game, and the local high-school playoff basketball game on the TVs. The drinks were good. The food was delicious. It felt like a good neighborhood bar. Would go back.

Their food is fresh and tastes great. Usually have a special. Nice place for lunch. Sometimes they are busy and you may wait for a while. Waitress staff is very friendly. I got a French Onion soup and a side salad. Very good for a decent price..

Such a wonderful experience. Sam was a wonderful host, just to bad about the shortage of help.

Excellent service and a great burger!

I stopped in for lunch after kayaking and was not disappointed! The restaurant is casual and very charming. The food was delicious! There were so many things on the menu that sounded good, so I had a hard time deciding. The staff was friendly, the place was clean, and I’d definitely go there again.

Delicious food, was expecting pub fare and it’s definitely a step up. Crab cakes, cordon blue, Devonshire all top notch. Tavern burger is excellent!!

Update: Holy cow this place is really good food period! Every item seems handmade and chef chef crafted. Took my dad for lunch, fried apple Brie grilled cheese!! Molten topped French onion soup. This dude brings it. 🙌🏻
