Prentice Park City Campground

Great place to tent camp. Always clean bathrooms and showers. Every time the campground hosts were extremely nice, including the people on the phone.
7/10/2023 I got a tent site. Prefect for tents, ground was smooth.
6/17/2022 camped (2 small tents) in the "overflow" area (upfront by the day area)
8/4/2017 camped (5 small tents) in the "overflow" area (upfront by the day area)

This campground is so nice. The sites were clean and easy to access. Each site had grass, a fire pit and a gravel area with a picnic table. The bathrooms were well maintained and way fancier than most campgrounds I've been to. For the price, this campground is well worth it. I would stay here again in a heart beat.

Wonderful small campground near Lake Superior. Very friendly staff. The bathroom/showers are the best I've been in. Very clean, places to hang your clothes, bench for all your stuff... Nice and roomy and private. I'm traveling Wisconsin and staying in state parks and city parks. The state park's (DNR) bathroom/showers need to visit this park and see how clean, nice showers should look.

Nice place to take the kids for a hike, and playing on the playground. They also just added a new playground in place of the old one. The kids loved it!

Recently upgraded electrical connections now offer 30A AND 50A hookup, NEMA 10-30 and 14-50, plus a couple 120V GFCI. Fire pits, fire wood, trails, etc.

Such a sweet little campground! Small, thoughtfully laid out, well maintained. I did not have change so I had to leave $20 for the $17 camping fee, but I was very happy to do so!

It would have been helpful to somehow have had the door code for the showers available to campers when the campground host was off-site. I was lucky that another camper found it in a review on the Facebook page.

Friendly camp host. Hot showers and clean facilities. Make sure to get bathroom key code so that you can use the facilities when they are locked up at night to non-campers.

Tent camped here in late July 2021. Lively little campground. Well-kept and quiet, yet close (in) to town. Very nice new showers & restrooms. Highly recommended.

Beautiful park near the edge of Lake Superior with trails, artisian water and camping. Great place to visit. One caution, there is a lot of road noise from Rt 2 which is close by.

Lovely park with a playground and a volleyball net, shelters, trails, Artesian well,public bathrooms and campsites. Prentice Park is very clean and well maintained.

Clean, wonderful sites with full rv hookups (power and water). No dump. Hot showers and a clean restroom, too!
