Sewickley BMW Service Center

After working with Kari for several years and receiving wonderful customer care through her warm interactions and trustworthy follow through, I was slightly uncertain about continuing to work with Sewickley BMW following her departure. During my recent service experience I had the opportunity to work with Jen. She was very helpful and accommodating. The techs at BMW always do a thorough job as well. Although I worked with a new Service Department Representative. Sewickley BMW has continued to provide stellar service. Again, thank you Jen and Harris the technician.

Scheduled a week in advance for a recall. Dropped it off the night before to make sure it was there first thing.
Recvd text at 3:53pm that they were not able to get it in and said they would update me as soon as possible(?), thanking me for my patience. I had unchangeable plans the next day. I texted, I ONLY had one set of keys and needed to pick it up that night as I work an hour away. Take a $30 Lyft after hours and find the keys were mysteriously locked in it. Then another $30 Lyft home. Texted the Service Person , who very kindly responded & apologized again that evening. Am asked if I have a second set of keys...Again, no. Get a text next morning they have my keys, but no way to get me to Sewickley BMW. Say the Door must have locked itself because of my bad FRM module. So I take another Uber/ Lyft to get there. Not happy I am out almost $100 in rideshare fees for a 'free' recall. Also disgusted that BMW gave up to 156,000 miles for replacement of their defective FRM modules and mine doesn't qualify because it's 'over ten years old', but is only 65% of the way through 'in miles' of their EXTENDED warranty they HAD to give on their defective FRM Footwell Modules.
I love my car, just really expected more from BMW...

I had a price from another BMW dealer to get my rear brakes replaced. My front brakes were done 4 months prior. Guy at this place told us the front would have to be checked and done as well. He wanted to charge double the price of the other dealership. I took my keys and left. Would rather drive the extra 40 mins to get good service at the original place. I will never set foot in this place again. Not the first time they have been rude!

Insanely expensive!! Completely fails to make sense. It seems like there’s no concern for the customer. The attitude is like “it is what it is”. I don’t think there’s any one specific person at fault. The staff is doing what they are trained for and told to do while charging whatever the dealership decides. It’s just sad that I went to this place for long and didn’t explore outside. I hope I don’t go back to this place again.

I have been waiting for 3 days to get a quote on a repair from their service department. They say they will call me back but they never do. This is the worst service department I have ever experienced. Just this morning I was told they would call me right back, that was 3 hours ago.
