Al's Cafe

It is one of the best restaurants in this area. They have an extensive menu but my favorite is the Italian dishes. I just love the hot banana peppers with sausage over linguine. The side salads and the loaf of fresh baked bread that comes with every meal are excellent. I can't wait to try everything else on the menu.

Very good food. My server was extremely friendly and the food was 10/10. We had a bourbon burger, an Als burger, and crab stuffed mushrooms and all of it was phenomenal. The atmosphere was very cool sports bar like vibe but at the same time it was a classy nice restaurant. It's hard to describe but definitely worth a visit.

Updated visit: the host that we spoke to on the phone was EXTREMELY rude when asked what time closing was. She told us 9pm and immediately hung up the phone. Other than that strange experience everything else was still just as great as last time. We had a Philly cheese steak and a pulled pork sandwich both of them were delicious. Very clean but small men's bathroom. It smelled fresh like cleaner.

I've been going to Al's since they used to have live rock bands. I have eaten lunch here daily when working nearby. The food was never bad. The bar is awesome too. Had a lot of great times here!!!

Absolutely love this place! I always enjoyed this place when I was living in Pittsburgh, so I decided to stop back in while I was in town and they where just as I remembered! The calzone that I ordered was big, delicious cooked perfectly! So glad I came back to grab a bite to eat!

This is a hidden gem in the region. A must go to restaurant. Excellent food and generous portions. Friendly service and clean. Ask for Dana who is an exemplary waitress at Al’s. Great selections and house specials. Family friendly and excellent seating with visual items that you want to see. ENJOY!

Have friends that we meet here . Place is very busy. Recommend reservations. Large menu. Certainly you can find something here that you like.

Just a great all around place. They work great under pressure when very busy also and the weight staff is very friendly.

We stopped for a late lunch. It wasn't very crowded but a party/event was still wrapping up. We were seated right away and had no wait for our meals.

wonderful experience, wonderful waitress had dinner with my 90-year-old aunt, we sat for over 2 hours and just talked. was not rushed out at all. definite, definite plus

We had been driving past Al's Cafe for years before we decided to stop in and give it a try and now we say, "What took us so long!"
The food is good; we've tried the burgers which are delicious, and several of the chicken meals. Portions are generous, the meat is cooked to your preference, and sides are fresh and tasty. The bar is well-stocked and reasonably priced.
We love the wait-staff who were just the right amount of attentive without being annoying. They picked up on our sense of humor and helped us celebrate a happy occasion.
The atmosphere is a casual lodge-like theme, clean and spacious.
Supporting local small businesses is important to us, but we wouldn't be disappointed if Al decided to open a few franchises!
We've made a few visits to Al's Cafe in the last year and will definitely make a few more in the months to come.

Great tasting food at reasonable prices. Very popular place and appears to be family oriented. And it's accessible from the Montour bike trail. Highly recommend!

They have a great menu, love the rustic decor. You feel like you're in a ski lodge somewhere. It's casual dining attire but they have a vast menu... not just bar food. Love their stir fry.

Great lunch specials. Had the Chicken Romano this time. Very good.

We hosted a rehearsal dinner in the event room upstairs on 2/17/23...I cannot say enough how pleased we were. From the wait staff, to the food to the decor it was WONDERFUL and the price was reasonable for 25 people! Than you so much!

Tavern side has great service and the atmosphere always has such a positive vibe...
