Maenam Thai

This place is a true hole-in-the-wall gem 💎 of an Asian Restaurant. It’s truly a one-of-a-kind place that serves authentic Asian cuisine from several parts of Asia. The staff is friendly and responsive, and the atmosphere is unique and intimate so large crowds cannot occur. They appear to do a large volume of business in takeout orders. It’s not a fancy place, but I will be back whenever I’m in town. The food is very flavorful and is of high quality, and the prices are reasonable.

Stopped by at this restaurant on my way to New Jersey for some Thai! A slight detour but seems like a small town outskirts of Pittsburgh!

Had a plenty of vegan options. Service was friendly and mango curry was awesome!! Mostly a Togo restaurant with few seats available for dine in!!

I recommend everything about Maenam Thai. I lived in Southeast Asia for years and spent lots of time in Thailand. This is hands down the best Thai food in Pittsburgh. I first visited about two months ago and have been back many, many times, so I've tried lots of different dishes. Each one is better than than the last.

Most importantly, Bell (who does everything except cook the food) is so welcoming to all who come in. The space is small and cosy, the food is delicious, and the prices are good. What more could you ask for?

I got the chive dumplings and chicken pad Thai. Loved everything about it. The small front round with reaching greenery and the bustling kitchen behind the curtain is everything a Thai restaurant should be. Definitely recommend stopping by, or at least picking up.

I placed my lunch order online. My order was ready when I arrived. I was greeted with a smile and friendly service. My noodle dish and spring roll was fantastic and the price was very reasonable. I think I found my new Thai spot!

Great little place! Ordered my Thai restaurant benchmark:
Chicken Basil with Fried Egg. Did a terriffic job with it. Complex flavors and spiced as I ordered it: "Thai spicy". Also tried and loved Chive dumpling appetizer. Ate at the one tiny sidewalk (diesel dining - see pic) table. The server was friendly and informative. I'll be back. Pad Kee Mao next time and Maenam Pork Soup (with meatball) and Noodle Bowls when it's cold out.

The food is amazing, absolutely delicious, good-sized portions, and they're the nicest people. Prices are very good too. Best steamed veggies I've had. I work down the road, and it's nice to have another option.

Wow finally a Thai place were a 10 heat level is a real 10, my god so spicy but so good.

We got a wide variety including some soups and some amazing crab rice. Overall this has become my favorite Thai place in Pittsburgh

I live right by here, not big on Thai but everything I’ve had has been outstanding. I tried the fried rice today phenomenal! Happy to have little places like this in my neighborhood! Online ordering system glitched a few times I went to go pick up my order twice and they didn’t have one for me. Make sure you get a confirmation email. Also, I forgot my wallet one time and she helped me figure out how to use Apple Pay lol.

This place is awesome. Always go spicy level 10 and comment the spicier the better. Their street noodles were hands down the spiciest thing I've ever had. Absolutely recommend for some rea Thai that isn't as Americanized as most other places.

I have been to my fair share of Thai restaurants in the Pgh area and this one is tops. Definitely my favorite. Portions are generous, affordable, and it's absolutely delicious. The owner and staff are fantastic. I even ran into local celeb Rick Sebak, who is a frequent at this place and also sings it's praises. You will not be disappointed!

went in mistakenly thinking we could dine in and the staff were so sweet and accommodating! My husband got the pad Thai and loved it. I got the pad see ew and it was probably the best I’ve ever had. Will totally become a new regular spot for us to order from!

This place in In our neighborhood and their food is incredible every single time! I can see their store front from my porch and they are kind hearted people with amazing skills in a kitchen! 10/10!

Small place with excellent food!

Small take-out restaurant, with limited seating. The Tom Yum soup is outstanding, full of flavor.

You’ll need to be attentive when asked about spice level. Their 7/10 is like a 10/10 at other restaurants.

We picked up take out tonight and it was fantastic! We tried a number of dishes and all were really fresh, flavorful and spicy (we picked a “medium” spice and it was just right for us… spicy but.not ‘melt your face’ spicy) but the chicken w/tamarind, the Thai street noodles, and the green curry really stood out… and the dumplings! So good! Would highly recommend!

Never a disappointment ordering from here! They are BEYOND friendly and the food is always on point! This is my go to Thai place in Pittsburgh!
