A wonderful little shop with many treasures to discover, a personable owner, and a great holiday sale. We spent a good half hour wandering about the shop the weekend before Christmas, and my young adult nieces walked out with several fun vintage hats, tops, and jewelry. A great stop in downtown Gettysburg!

Fun little shop to browse and snag some great finds. Lots of jewelry, handbags, shoes, clothes too. And always a good sale going on - we even enjoyed a wine while we browsed. Will come back!

Loved this little shop! Here for a wedding this weekend and I needed a wristlet and found this place and ended up buying a bunch of jewelry as well. Everything is 50% off and buy two get one free and she also threw in a bonus mystery jewelry bag. The prices were great for what I needed and the owner is very friendly and kind. I will definitely visit again if I’m in the area!

After reading reviews of The Glass Slipper I had to check the store out myself and there is much confusion posted. The Glass Slipper is NOT A THRIFT STORE... I am from New York and The Glass Slipper is a high end BOUTIQUE...the prices are great, wonderful customer service eager to please and very helpful. Considering the location (college and off of the square down town) this is a very trendy store. I LOVE IT!!!

I liked it here, I went just last saturday. I've lived in and around Gettysburg my whole life, every store in this town is outrageously priced especially around tourists season. When I had went in I got this beautiful white dress originally priced at $80 but was marked down %50, but she sold it to me for $35, which I thought was very nice. I love everything I saw. The only issue I had was I brought my boyfriend back the following Thursday and they where not open, although there store hours state they where and or should be open. We will try back in tomorrow because I cant get these earings I saw there out of my head. But honestly this isn't a thrift store. It's much, MUCH nicer. Honestly the prices where not horrible either, not for Gettysburg. Dont expect to come to Gettysburg and find things for cheap. It's a tourist town, so everything in the area is crazy, outrageously priced.

PROS: Very nice lady that runs the store and very nice merchandise and prices too

CONS: place is small and unorganized while the isles of stuff in the back are packed in

OVERALL: Come in here if you walk past it, you may get a good deal on a LV bag. Just make sure it's not crowded with people

This was a very small store. They did not have a lot and I thought it was very expensive for what they were selling. I did not stay in the store very long, and I did not purchase anything while I was there either. If you need something specific that is hard to find then it may be better for you. I LOVE thrift type stores, but this one was not my cup of tea.

Over priced. Read the other bad reviews! Don’t waste your time here. Shop elsewhere.

This place and the owner are disgusting. She’s a liar and a thief. My last visit there I bought two bags, I was told that they were real by an employee when I asked that exact question. I got them home and started looking at the one and you’d have to be a complete idiot if you would believe it was real (Chanel bag). So I looked at the other (Louis Vuitton) and went online with the date code. You guessed it! That was fake too. I paid waaayyy too much money for them, and since the receipt says “All sales final” I got next to nothing back and even that was “store credit”, gee thanks...I was later informed by staff that the owner makes them say that. “To the best of our knowledge”...if the owner has a half of a brain cell left she would know that way before she bought them. I would never recommend buying anything from this hole or from the gross owner.

I used to love this place but my past 2 experiences here have been well, horrid. This place is a rip off! USED AE jeans priced at $40 and a lot of Frederick's of Hollywood corsets, beautiful but for $280?! Oh no. I looked the corsets up online and showed the employe my discovery... New corsets online, by the same company, were no more than $80. Their 60% sign is a way to lure poor souls into this scummy shop. Cute stuff but go out and support a good cause! Go to your local goodwill (community aid in Hanover is excellent) or visit the Adams county recuse mission!

Really disappointed I love thrift shopping but this place is crazy. Some cute stuff but $280 for a used dress? I don’t think so.

They sell fake items here and lie to you and tell you it’s real. The owner will also try to force you to buy items. I was forced into buying shoes and found out they were fake.
