My friends and I went here on a Sunday afternoon for brunch and left very very satisfied. We sat at the bar since the booths were all taken this isn't the norm for us but I'm really glad we did. The bartender was awesome and so friendly. She was able to make suggestions from the menu and even joked around with us. The manager was amazing he offered soda water to help get a spill off jeans and then even overheard us talking about our friends meatball and brought us over complementary meatballs to sample and see how fantastic they were. Now that's what I call GREAT customer service! The food was phenomenal and very affordable and all made fresh in house. The drinks were also all made in house and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was very relaxed and laid back. We're all looking forward to many more visits and hope everyone has as great a time as we did.

Brunch is great. Services wonderful. Bottomless mimosas are wonderful. We had the eggs Benedict it was great. We will definitely be back

First, the reviews I read had responses, and sensible ones.

We've stopped going to our local (ethical reasons). NPL is a place I'd wanted to go more; having had my other local's nachos, it was an opportunity to give NPL a chance.

It turned out to be fortuitous in a magnificent way.

1st, protein is an option. I don't want some salty ground beef automatically built in; I don't want any. Cheese, dude. That's good for me.

Jalapenos. Salsa.

Annnnnd, that it had, all in abundance. A pile of nachos, 2 huge servings. I was so happy as this was exactly what I wanted for playoff nite craving.

I waited until I got there to order, and they had Arsenal cider; not just one, but two flavors.

We look forward to going back again.

We were caught in the rain, and there was parking right outside the bar/restuarant, so we decided to try it. A very pleasant surprise, the waitress was very friendly, and attentive. And the food was delicious. I was so hungry that I ate it all before thinking of pictures. Next time :-)

YINZ. This is def my favorite home away from home during COVID. Staff is crazy friendly, beer list is crazy long (as is the Moscow mule list), pub fare is delicious, tables are far apart, and the heated, covered patio is perfect (see photo), even for Pittsburgh’s too-long winter weather. Highly recommend (and you’re welcome in advance for the suggestion)!

Went for an outing for my friend Ian McGlumphy's 31st soirre. His choice, not mine. But to my surprise the food was stun. The beer selection was stun. And the atmosphere was bar none.

I got the lounge fries which were amazing. They have cheese sauce, bacon AND melted cheese. I got the wild mushroom burger with swiss. It was great. It wasn't very busy. It's a good place for a quick casual meal.

First time here on a recommendation of a friend. Happy Hour doesn't disappoint!! Huge portions, great prices, and the bartenders laughed at all of my silly jokes!! I only wish I could have gotten their names so that I could call them out 😋 The vodka bucket was great, and the meatballs are 100 times better than what I suffer through at Mineos in Squirrel Hill!!

BANG FOR YOUR BUCK! Old school business style, really decent service, DOG-FRIENDLY. Snootiness level - 0! Super cool place. Laid back. Tasty food. I really like the Southwest salad, nachos, and chicken tenders with the HONEY JALEPENO SAUCE. Excellent place for Sunday recovery. Brunch has never been a downer here. (Bottomless mimosas are available here but I low key dislike the OJ they use. Will bring my own OJ one day…needs pineapple.)

A staple for good quality, affordable, and tasty food! NPL Lawrenceville has one of a kind employees who make you feel like family. The menu is excellent and the drinks are very affordable and there is always something for everyone! Whether it be brunch, lunch, or dinner you will not have a bad meal. Their take out is also fantastic. It’s hard to find a good quality and affordable restaurant in Lawrenceville, so look no further!! Highly recommend their lounge fries, they’re the best on the menu. Excellent happy hour deals as well!

We went here for a Sunday lunch, we sat ourselves at a booth and a server brought us menus. Our server was nice and quick to take our order. The food came out very fast and everything was really good. We had a chicken salad, fish tacos and a pretzel sandwich with fries. Everything was really enjoyable and I plan on coming back soon.

Update: have been here a second time and it was equally enjoyable, food and service was still good despite them being very busy

This is my boyfriend's and my favorite brunch place! It's super casual but has awesome food, service, and most importantly, bottomless brunch. We love to go here for bottomless mimosas on the weekend - they're very reasonably priced and you certainly get bang for your buck! Not only that, but the service is wonderful as well. They bust their butts there and it shows. The food is delicious - I personally love the eggs benedict or the french toast! It's nice when it's warm out too and they have their patio set up which is dog friendly. It's a great place for a summertime brunch with friends!

Food was amazing and reasonably priced. Their pasta is homemade and you can tell. We sat at the bar and the service was great! Excellent draft choices and very nicely decorated. They have an outdoor patio but it was raining the day we went. Will definitely be back on Monday for the pasta special.

Great place for breakfast. They have good coffee better than Barbs. They have OUTDOOR DINING STILL! Great atmosphere and tables are spaced out nicely. Daily specials always something new to try. They give you a lot of food for not a lot of money I defiantly recommend this place!

Chicken salad was perfect with fresh fries on greens & other veggies. Their steak salads are great too! 40 drafts on tap. Comfortable place, nice staff. Will definitely go back.

Very good food with generous portions. Service was awesome and really friendly. Certainly a welcomed addition the newly gentrified Lawrenceville. However they do not have the gentrification attitude... This is a really great place. Good prices good service and very clean what more could you want.

I love that this place is dog friendly. Also the Mac and cheese that you get as a side to your burger is big enough to be a meal. I also loved the Mac and cheese.

The watermelon margarita was terrible if I am being honest but everything else made up for it.

Great service!!! Beer selection is awesome. Food selection is ok. Not enough vegetarian options...I was able to have soup or a salad..(that can't be my only option..salad..blah!). The tomato soup was really freaking good tho! I'm giving them 5 stars because the service was really that good!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. Thank you for always amazing service, food, and all around awesome atmosphere. A couple of us were going out for a friend's birthday one sat night and we were going to go to New Amsterdam, when we got there is was super packed and the server was super RUDE. So I suggested NPL other knowing if we were gonna have a good night but BOB made us feel so welcomed. He was amazing , the DJ was great and 3 hours later we all said that we couldn't wait to come back!! What a great new addition to Butler street!!

Every time my son and I come to Pittsburgh to visit my grandfather NPL in Lawrenceville is our go to spot. We went once when my son was younger and he loved the food and atmosphere so that's where we always go now. Its a nice, clean place with very good food and the staff are always extremely nice.
