Korea House Restaurant

This is absolutely the most authentic Korean food in the boulder area. Every single dish here is so mouth watering good, and there is something for everyone. The server is a extremely nice man (dont believe the 1 star reviews) and always recognizes us when we come in! I can not recommend the veggie mandoo dumplings enough. They are my favorite dumplings of all time! You can't go wrong with anything there though.

My boyfriend and I ate here and thought it was amazing! It seemed really authentic. The decor was very cool. We got ‘Set E’ and split between the two of us. The tea was amazing (pearl barley), food was delicious, our server was lovely (maybe seemed like the owner). We highly recommend it!

Lovely find. A homely and cozy atmosphere, prompt and attentive service, and delicious food. I highly recommend ordering one of the “sets”, which include a choice of drink, appetizers, and at least one entree. The food came out in courses, with little to no waiting time in between. We felt taken care of and left very satisfied. Thank you Korea House!

Love this place for their authentic 육개장 soup. Genuine flavor and Ingredients. . The only thing I buy here since portions are small, I crave 육개장 often and it makes my heart warm to have it. The only comparable restaurant in Colorado with its authentic flavor is Mr. Kim’s in Aurora with huge portions, unfortunately very far away. The cost of living and working in boulder is so great that I’m not surprised the cost of food at this restaurant for its imported and fresh ingredients. Many other chain restaurants in boulder that are cheaper have lower quality flavor and food. I don’t buy here often but I’m appreciative of the flavor profile and how my belly feels full and happy after I eat a meal here even if the portion is small! Be aware the portion size and be prepared to spend money on the delicious flavor . There are many restaurants in boulder with authentic delicious meals like little Tibet that is delicious but pricey. Dont expect fast food prices for home made meals

The food is really good. More than that the decorations are astonishing. I got the box which with variety of meat and other things. The meat was so delicious. The prices were very reasonable and they should definitely be a place to try when you visit Boulder. They have a variety of different Korean and Japanese drinks to try on. You will not regret going to this place.

While recently visiting Colorado - Oct 30 2023, we wanted to meet local friends to get together for dinner. They had chose the location and we all arrived at different times. We got a table and waited for the others to arrive. Every member of our table of 6 loved it. The food was fantastic, the owner was very nice and accommodated us with all of our needs. He even came out and took pictures of all of us. I will come back on my next visit !! Thanks again for a wonderful evening & great food !

I love Korea house. The atmosphere is so homey and unique, the server/owner is lovely and polite, and the food is consistent and delicious. My BF and I particularly like the Galbi beef and the Bulgogi beef. The bento boxes are also fantastic.

I see a lot of people complaining about feeling rushed since the server drops off the check before you finish the food. I have never felt rushed and if anything, appreciate him bringing the check early so by the time I'm finished eating, we've already paid and everything is taken care of. The server has never hovered over us while we eat and is very hands on (pouring us Soju, deconstructing the bento box for me, etc.) and we love that!

I’ve been here on 2 separate occasions and both times were super pleasant!

The older gentleman who took our order was kind, knowledgeable and was honest about how the food flavor changes with different ingredients. For example, I wanted to add more eggs and veggies to the Yukbaejang and he said it distorts the flavor. I prefer to have someone be honest and tell me something if it weakens the flavor of the plate. It’s also Korean dishes, which I don’t have much taste experience with, so I’m going to happily take the waiter’s advice.

Our food came out quick, both times. It was approximately a 10-15 minute time lapse before we got our food. The menu is simple enough to know what you want right away. The menu items aren’t all over the place, it was simple and organized.

The music and environment is very cultural and sweet. There’s ornaments, wall decor, the entrance to the restaurant has a bunch of antiques and decoration that is welcoming and catches your eye.

The other reviews have said that the owner or chef or waiter don’t stop talking to you, are rude, give their biased opinions, and other related negative experiences. I feel bad for them, but that hasn’t happened to me. Neither time I went did I feel like he intruded on our time, or anything bad. The most the older gentleman talked was when he brought out the beer selections and gave us his opinion on the best one.

I would come here again, they serve delicious food, music wasn’t too loud (and they played normal Korean music, not all of it was k-pop), the waiter was kind, and I want to come here again!

My new favorite! This place was so so good! All the food is super fresh, made there. We had amazing service by the chef and the food…all the flavors! Absolutely delicious!!

I could not believe when the bill came…a generous glass of wine, three appetizers, four meals and two desserts…barely over $100!

If you want amazing flavors, super fresh homemade Korean food for an exceedingly reasonable price…this is your place for sure!

Already can’t wait to go back!

(And for those people worried about the portion sizes…I think they’re use to “American” portions. We all left feeling full and very satisfied.)

This place is a hidden gem. Do yourself a favor and order a few things and share them!! Everything has been amazing. The owner is always there and he is absolutely a wonderful human.

Food was great and the atmosphere was very personal. Lots of fun decorations. I had the spicy ramen with egg and mandoo. It was very tasty. I've been here twice now and it has been consistently high quality. The dumplings are phenomenal and the Korean beer complemented the meal well. It's a great introduction to Korean food and definitely a must if you're in the mood for something different in boulder.

Ordered a chicken and beef bibimbap and a beef bibimbap in hot stones and they were delicious. Came with miso soup and kimchi. The food is well presented and very tasty and the service is wonderful. It is clear this is a family sort of place, and I adore that about it.
Would very much recommend the bibimbap as well as the strawberry mochi.

Stopped by on a rainy night with low expectations. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and cozy atmosphere. The hot plate galbi was so tender and perfectly seasoned, the seafood tofu stew came boiling hot with perfectly soft tofu, their house kimchi had the right balance of sweet and sour flavor. All for $32 before tip. Smaller portions but great for an affordable night out 💯 Verdict: absolutely coming here again and adding another solid Asian restaurant to the list of faves in town.

Amazing gem of a restaurant! The food was DELICIOUS! Very authentic Korean food, everything ate was so good. The atmosphere is very cute too. We'll back back weekly!

Had a healthy and quick lunch in a very nice spot. We don't visit here often because of the high prices. When we do we get excellent food and friendly service. I tried to take pictures of the food but couldn't stop people from eating!
