We have been to Gettysburg many times but usually to visit the battlefield however we decided to check out the square. There is no shortage of places to eat here but we decided upon grill food. The place is not terribly large so be prepared to wait when it is a nice day to be out and about. There was ample bar seating however for my family which includes 2 children. The staff was attentive and friendly. Now we know grills tend to be skimpy on vegetarian options but we were surprised that everyone could get something. I had gotten a veggie burger, I now hope for Impossible or Beyond patties but they have I suspect Morningstar Black Bean patties instead. Nothing wrong with that and in fact, it tasted great. Kids were a little saddened that the only fries were waffle fries but they ended up loving it as well. Overall, we had a great experience and would come here again without hesitation.

Friday evening around 7:30 my wife and I got a table right away. Our server Gina was fantastic and attentive she had our drinks and appetizers out very quickly. We split appetizers, wings, cannon balls and gill cheese bites.

2nd time to Gettysburg but our 1st time to Blue and Gray, and it will now be a must place to eat for all future visits...The food is amazing, the atmosphere is fun, we went at dinner time so it was busy but we got seated quickly and worth the short wait. I had and would recommend the Gen John Bell Hood burger. My fiance had a crab cake sandwich that she described as being as good as any crab cake she has ever had in Maine..If you are in Gettysburg and want an amazing cheeseburger look no further, there are tons of options beyond what I had...

Visited Gettysburg on New Years Day, this spot was right on the square. Busy mid-afternoon but we were seated right away in a booth. Our server Shawna was pleasant and efficient, and helpful with recommendations. The blackened tuna bites (we ordered them medium) were outstanding, the fried pickles were tasty as expected. The wings were cooked crispy yet tender, but the garlic parmesan version were not what we expected- almost like an Alfredo sauce on the wings. A cherry blossom and an orange crush were our drinks, good flavor and not watered down. Well definitely visit again!

Welcome to the Blue and Gray Bar and Grill in Downtown Gettysburg!

This historic sports bar is owned and operated by a family who “took [their] passion for history and sports and combined them to create a fun atmosphere with elevated bar food.”

One of the most notable things about this restaurant is how well it keeps with the theme of the history that the town holds. Their burgers are named after the generals who fought in the Battle of Gettysburg and their wing sauces are named after notable brigades. There are also plenty of other references to this historic battle within their menu as well.

Everything on their menu was delicious, but my favorite had to have been the bacon wrapped shrimp!

Our food was great and so was our service. We dined on the patio on a nice fall day and down town offers a great atmosphere. The inside is just your standard bar with TVs. We had a burger and a philly cheesesteak.

Terrific restaurant! We sat outside and listened to the live music playing in the square. We ordered the Musket balls and Grilled Cheese Bites for our Apps and they were delicious! The Horseradish Aioli was divine! The Musket Balls were everything yummy in one bite!! My husband had the Brisket Sandwich for dinner. The brisket melts in your mouth! The Manchego Cheese was a perfect match! My Shrimp Po Boy was yummy too! Our server was great! It was quite busy and he was hustling, drinks were on our table and our order was taken in a timely fashion. We will definitely be returning our next time in Gettysburg.

Our first visit and it won't be our last. Our server was outstanding, the food was awesome, and the prices very reasonable. Wonderful atmosphere, too. Located on the traffic circle in the heart of Gettysburg, you couldn't ask for a better location.

Nice little spot right by the circle. We got the calamari and grilled cheese bites. Both were fantastic! The sauces that came with them all paired perfectly. Overall delicious and cool place to eat.

Sat at the bar where it was pleasantly crowded on a Wednesday evening at 6:30. The wings were meaty and flavorful. Great selection of burgers. The bartenders were extremely nice. Fun crowd, seemed like there were a lot of locals, which is always a great sign that the place is good.

A tavern in Gettysburg. We did not expect much but the food was HOT, and plentiful. We realized too late that the burgers are an 8oz patty, way more than most of us could eat. I'd recommend it if you're looking for a tavern with good and fast service and reasonable prices.

After a LONG day touring the battlefield, we walked to the Blue & Gray Bar and Grill. The waitress was friendly, effecient and steered us to the perfect meal. Their salads are huge, very filling and reasonably priced. The citrus vinegaret is housemade and the best dressing I've ever had. My husband loved the blue cheese dressing on the wedge salad, which he added chicken and avocado per waitress suggestion and it was perfect. This was on a Sunday afternoon when the place was packed with people watching football games. Our food came out quickly, the waitress kept great track of us filling drinks etc. We ended up eating here 3 times while in town. Each time the place was busy but we had excellet service. Food came out quickly, even when I ordered sweet potato fries (which are fabulous) after our meal was delivered. There is indoor and outdoor seating. I highly recommend this place for a good reasonabe meal.

Unique burgers and unusually good fries. Just grabbed a quick lunch here. Multiple choices of burger toppings that sound delicious. Music was a little loud but will not keep us from trying a different burger in the future.

Delicious food! I have been here before and always have a great experience. I got the Robert E Lee Burger, and my boyfriend got the James Longstreet burger. Both of us had clean plates at the end.

Fun, cozy, delicious. The grilled cheese bites are REALLY good and both of our burgers were great. It's very on theme for the battle of Gettysburg, but locals are definitely regulars here. I would come back to town with this place in mind for the grilled cheese appetizer alone. The staff is excellent as well.

Fun pub vibe. Friendly service and tasty food. We got burgers. Teenager approved. They could accommodate my no onion or garlic sensitivity and had gluten free bun!

The Musket Balls were good. Staff are awesome! We always love the burgers and that is why we visit. Please bring back the Reynolds! The Warren was great today. My son enjoyed the Hayes. We live coming back to try a different one and favorites.
